Chapter 2: CHAPTER 2 - AN OLD MEMORY

When Olivier opened his eyes once more, he found himself in an mystical land. A bright sun hung over the clear and vast blue sky. This world was rich in greenery, he could meadows everywhere with several scattered trees, hills and stone of variety of shape and size. The air he breathe felt more pure and fresh. The trees were brimming with vitality and snow covered their leaves even the weather was clear and sunny. It was magically beautiful.

'What kind of world is this? It is filled with so much vitality and even the air here feels cleaner than usual. Is this those isolated world that i read about where only the powerful expert live and store their artifacts and training manual? Is this my lucky chance? But what was that voice before. I am certain that I have heard those words before.' He thought as he looked around in disarray.

He was excited and wanted to explore this place because he had a kind of hunch this would be where he finds his lucky chance, a chance to be at the forefront of his peers once more. He was lost in his thoughts as his ambition flared deep inside him. That was untill he felt something tap on his shoulder twice.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh...."

"Ahhhhhhhhhh...."

Two alarmed cries sounded simultaneously.

Olivier jumped back hastily and took a fighting stance ready to strike if he saw anything that could harm him. While Olivier was not that accomplished in the martial arts and magic department, he was the foremost of his peers in the fighting department. He had developed a great battle over the years of his training. Since, he could not accomplish much in the martial arts and magic, he had used his brain and trained to develop his battle sense. He believed he defeat anyone if they battled one-on-one without using any kinds of martial arts and magic. This was not arrogance, this was the confidence he developed after training for years.

But what Olivier saw surprised him to the depth of his bones, even his soul shivered a little in excitement and anxiety. What he confronted no, who he confronted was a beautiful women with the most perfect height he had envisioned when it came to a women. She was 5 feet 11 inches tall dressed in a dull green dress that covered her whole body. The dress was tight at the top and slightly bulky at the bottom but it felt like the dress was made explicitly for her, like she was born with dress. It was a weird feeling. She had a red hair with shades of blonde which made the red color less conspicuous. She had big green eyes and a lovely face. perfect, he would depict her face as perfect. She had a extraordinary body to boot her beautiful face, developed at the right place. He quietly thanked the god for that.

But what startled him was not her perfect face and amazing figure, thank god for that again, it was her resemblance to that lady, the one who was used by the game 'The Clash of Clan' at the beginning of the game to guide the newbies. Olivier did not have a image memory and definitely would not remember her if he only saw her once but he was used to seeing her icon on the game every time his village was attacked in the game. She looked like the carbon copy of that figure from the game.

Currently, she had a confused looked on her face. She looked at him for a second and asked, "What's wrong Chief?"

"Nothing. I'm fine." He replied intuitively but then he found her voice familiar. "Wait a second. Was that your voice, the one I heard when I was back home? And Why are you calling me chief?"

"Of course, it was me who called you here. Why would you ask such silly question after recognizing my voice", she said looking at Olivier like some fool.

Olivier felt slightly embarrassed to be called a fool by such a beautiful women. If not for her uncanny resemblance to the women in the game, he definitely go "So, aside from taking my breath away, what do you for a living?" and ask her family name and address. you know phone does not exist here. Dating was definitely more convenient on Earth.

Snapping out of his thoughts, he said, "Why are you calling me chief?"

"Why?" She looked confused. "I am calling chief the chief because you are the chief".

"huh?"

'What kind of answer is that. I am calling chief the chief because you are the chief.' He thought inside his head even somewhat impersonating her manner of speaking.

"How did i become your chief?" He asked again and more directly this time. He felt that she was strange. He definitely liked her more in the game where she was direct and concise. Personality-wise. God forgive for the slight blasphemy.

"Oh, The first human that comes the village will become the chief of our village. That is rule of our village".

"Then, how did i come to your village? I remember being inside my room in my home".

"oh, you came here because you heard my voice".

"How come I can hear your voice".

"Because I talked".

"No. No. I mean how can i hear your voice?"

"You can hear because you have ears. You are silly".

"Now I am dumb?"

"If you don't know you can hear because of your ear, you will be called dumb in our village. Last year, lily also did not know and all the villagers called her dumb".

"Wait a minute, who is Lily?"

"Lily. She lives in our village. She collects the fruits from the forest".

"Is she pretty?"

"She is super pretty"

"....."

'What am I asking?' So why do I care whether she's pretty, unless she's 'I have to thank the god' pretty? Cough, cough... I got too absorbed in her rhythm. I didn't get a single answer from her. Either she is extremely intelligent or she simply does not know. If this is what I'm thinking, I should have a beginner village where I can upgrade and train troops. Let us start by asking her.'

"ok, I am your chief. What's next?" He said while the rookie guide lady was looking at him with her big green eyes.

She smiled brightly at him and waved her hands at him like sweeping wind.

Olivier felt the world go dark for split second like he just blinked his both eyes and found himself standing before a small village.

His eyes sparkled with fervor that he even failed to remember rookie guide lady just magically teleported him form one place to another with just a wave of her hand.

What Olivier saw was the scene he saw years ago when The Clash of clans was just released and he had downloaded this game for the first time just to stop his friends from spamming him with the download link of the game. He had been forced to download the game due to the constant spam messages he received from his friends. They only stopped when he joined their clan and the number of clan members reached ten making them qualified to join the clan wars. He smiled. It was one of his happy memories from the school days.

In front of him were several small buildings. The one in the middle was a one floored wooden building with windows and an entryway with a roof with a chimney two sided inclining rooftop with a chimney connected to the rooftop. Behind the building was a small thatched hut that looked just like the one in the game. In front of the building was a bonfire and beside the building was an structure which gave access to a underground facility.

'That is the Townhall. That is the builder's hut. That is the Army Camp. This is happening. This is really happeninggg'. He screamed inside his mind as his eyes shifted from one building to another.

This was the townhall level 1 beginner village from where he started his coc journey years ago.

'The clash of clans is real'. His inner child screamed inside his head.
