Chapter 2: Chapter 2 - Accident
Mathew hides behind a large wall noticing only her which was a little far away from her and she was very clearly visible to him, but he is very careful not to look at him because he has decided not to disturb her again so that he is not visible to Clara's eyes.
The function started with full of lighting, decorated with a lot of flowers surrounding the area and the night is going to be very grand, no matter what arrangements he makes, everyone was very impressed to see it and some of them are trying to find out the person who made these arrangements and wanted to give a contract for him for their own function at their house which was planning in few days.
But, he was completely hiding from everyone at the party. If he went out to take the orders from the people who were trying for him, then he would be visible to her in some way. So he called upon his assistant through a phone call and asked him to go and collect their phone numbers so that he would call them later after the party or the day after it.
The party is very grand with colorful flowers and people who attended the party, greeting each other, sipping drinks, dancing and having a lot of fun. But he only observes her and not the party as he does every time, without following the party at all.
Meanwhile, she goes to a big rounded table which was decorated with a beautiful flower vase filled with a bunch of red roses in it and with a nice baby pink colored cloth on the table. She lets the baby sit on the table and feeds him the dinner with a spoon which was carried with her in the handbag. She took out the bib from her handbag and tied it around the baby's neck so that the light blue color dress of the baby would not spoil with the dinner which was being fed by her mother.
While feeding her baby, all of a sudden she became very dull by thinking of something else which Mathew thought the reason hiding behind her would hurt her so badly. He did not understand why she was so dull. Again a lot of doubts crawled in his mind about her, the baby, and about her husband.
"I think she was not interested in the marriage, she married the unknown person by force and now he was not looking at her well, so she was very disappointed and destroying her mood," Mathew thought by himself by biting his nails.
He wanted to go near her and wanted to talk with her and also wanted to ask her a lot of questions about her life. But he stopped himself with force by doing so. In the meanwhile, the two oldies came to her, said something that was not visible to him as he was far away from them, and took her with them. She did not have her dinner either, but they took her away from there. He thought what's wrong with the two oldies and what was going on there?.
They went to the car parking and got into the black Range Rover, she sat beside the driver seat and the two oldies on the back seat. The car started and slowly raised its speed, Mathew too started his bike and started following them to know the details of her and about her background.
He was very carefully following the car on the streets of New York. For the first time, the road was looking very long and dark in the surroundings while following her on the bike, but the car was not stopping anywhere. Even the signals too were not stopping them and running very quickly like a cheetah in the forest. In the meanwhile, he got stuck at a signal point and tried to cross the signal in a hurry that he was going to miss her if he stopped at the signal point and so he moved a step further towards the zebra line where the vehicles stop while the signal turned red and without turning into green.
There he met with an accident when he was trying to cross the line. When the oncoming car collided with him, he flipped over and dragged along with the bike, writing on the road for some distance. His gaze was fixed on the car and he stared at the car and fell with blood stains all over the place on the spot. He remained a little conscious and immediately he was taken to the hospital by the people surrounding him by moving him into an ambulance.
He did not suffer from an accident but the pain of missing her was mostly in his heart. The situation there is very confusing. One of them picks up Mathew's phone from his tight dark blue color formal pants and calls the number which was saved as Dad on it and explains everything that happened.
They get confused at once, inquire about the situation and immediately find the hospital with the stranger and start there in a very emergency way. When the two reached the hospital, they found that he was taken into the ICU for emergency purposes as the breathing was not sufficient for him. Mathew's parents tensed a lot and waited outside the ICU room very eagerly for the doctor to come out and find out his exact position.
A few minutes later, the Doctor came out of the ICU room in a very stressed manner by removing his mask from his nose covering the mouth and the chin too.
"How is my son Doctor?" Bruce inquired the doctor by wiping off the sweat from his forehead.
"It's okay, no need for tension about your son, luckily there are no fractures on his body. He escaped with only a few scratches on his body but needed to take a lot of rest for a few days as the bleeding occurred all over his body" Doctor moved from there to take care of another person after informing them of the position of Mathew to the two.
Mathew's parents were very eagerly waiting outside the ICU room to meet him and find out how it occurred to him, but the nurse asked them to wait for an hour or two to meet him as he was in anesthetic now.
But, in the meanwhile, all of sudden the situation turned black again and the people around the ICU were roaming here and there to treat him in an emergency. Mathew's parents tensed a lot after seeing the situation entwined there and drenched in sweat even though in the cold breeze weather.
