Chapter 152: Holiday Black

I, Silva Branwen, am just relaxing on the last day of the vacation here on Azure Island. Tomorrow I have to send everyone to their respective homes and get started in earnest on my major projects while seeing if RWBY canon is still viable after my interference during the next couple of years. It would honestly be great if canon were no longer possible because that means plot and fate don't exist, but if some things still play out regardless of my influence on the world, then I will get a headache or two in the future; only time can tell.

As I kick back and relax on my beach chair while enjoying a watermelon limeade, my thoughts wander about all my previous actions that have led up to my present. Getting involved with Raven right off the bat and even changing her to the point that she puts behind her bandit lifestyle and connects with Yang as her mother. Snatching the Relics of Knowledge and Creation under everyone's noses, I still need to use the Staff for something to make Atlas fall from the sky or maybe save it as an ultimatum for Tindick.

Myself, picking up Emerald and Neopolitan while causing Roman's death before he even meets the tri-colored girl. Making a connection with Pyrrha with the intent of at least being her friend in the future, if not more, once she grows older. Killing Tyrian before I confronted Salem and managing to get her doubt that she would get her desired end result of the witch's release from life. Meeting both of the Brother Gods and gaining Magic through my own means. My first kill, well, first human kill, in either of my lives, and the deaths that came afterward.

The loss of a dear friend, Vernal Kazehana that, caused me to gain her Semblance as her last gift to me and unlocking my own. Acquiring Argint and trying my best to make her whole, getting both Summer and Wulf to try and restore them back to normal after being in Salem's tender mercies. Helping out Ren and Nora when I came across them during my trip through Anima. Overall, my life so far has been eventful, and who knows what the future has in store. I only hope to have a moderate amount of adventure and a generous amount of peace.

( Remnant's equivalent of Xmas.)

Well, I never expected to celebrate Xmas again here on Remnant, but it's called the Winter Festival. The world of Remnant has four major holidays that focus on the four seasons, with each their own meaning. Spring is centered around flower viewing and love life, new and old. Summer has its parties, usually at beaches. Fall is basically a harvest festival with lots of eating of seasonal foods. Winter is all about family gathering together and giving gifts in appreciation to one another.

I winded up getting invited to four separate Winter Festival parties due to how many people I knew. The girls at Vale decided to host an open Winter Festival party to show off Forever Fall manor after getting my permission to make connections. This is more the twin's idea than anything. Raven wants to celebrate breaking-in our Anima home and is trying to mend old bridges aside from her daughter, Yang. Pyrrha invited me since I was practically her only friend. Willow was hosting a private party between family and close friends.

Thankfully they are not all on the same day, as the Winter Festival lasts about a week. First up was the twin's party, and they used social media to try and establish new connections. Junior and most of his men came around to the party along with an interesting few others, namely Ozpin and his group. There was no conflict between the groups but it was tense for most of the time. I did enjoy dancing around the subject of the Old Wizard's assumption of me being the Spring Maiden, usually making circular arguments with him, but I couldn't frustrate him enough to leave me alone. Patient old fox.

Raven's party mainly invited Qrow, Yang, Ruby, and Taiyang. The blonde father showed to be mostly indifferent to his ex-wife and only cares about his daughters' happiness which is why he lets Yang spend time with Raven. The two former spouses kept to opposite sides of the living room throughout the party and refrained from speaking too much to one another. Pyrrha and Scarlet's party was nice and cozy, with plenty of food and games.

Now the Schnee family Winter Festival party was a bit more eventful. The Happy Huntresses we're also there to enjoy the festivities. For starters, mistletoe was a thing here as well, and I got a kiss from both Willow and Winter, just a peck on the cheek, nothing more intimate. Although the look on Weiss's face when she found herself under some mistletoe with me brought a smile to my face, it was an expression of looking aghast, nervous, and more than a little reluctant to entertain such an action with me. She walked off, looking embarrassed and pouty in the end, without doing anything.

Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night.
