Chapter 10: Chapter 10 : A great wall I
Lobion returns to his base on the Malheus.
The night passes thus in the restful calm and under the glance of the moon and the stars which are in the sky.
The 9th day arrives, the morning rises like Lobion.
After having done his morning tasks which is to feed himself and his partner Malheus. He leaves in direction of the wood on the back of Malheus!
"Malheus ! I need to go cut lots and lots and lots of wood, to make our base more livable and safe!" Lobion starts talking to Malheus in a high voice while stroking him with his left hand.
"Wuwu!" Malheus seems to understand him or at least understand the seriousness that has in the words he has spoken!
Lobion arrives some time later in front of the forest with Malheus. He takes his axe then positions it in front of one of the trees before hitting it to knock it down.
"PA! PA! PA!"
"BA!"
After more than 30 minutes the tree which is rather wide and big finally falls on the ground. After the tree falls on the ground, Lobion sees that the tree is in fact bigger than he thought at first.
In fact, the tree is more than 10 meters high and 3 meters wide!
If he continues to cut more trees, after a few days, he will have enough material to reinforce the base.
Despite the fact that he wants to go home, he has to make sure that he doesn't die one night by a wild carnotaur or a wild T-rex that decided to take his basement to make a nest for his eggs! That's why Lobion decides to make improvements on his base despite his strong desire to see his family again!
He also knows that he can't cross the forest to find his family because he might be in even more danger in it than on the sides of it.
"Sigh! If I could only cross the forest, I might be with my family right now!" Lobion thinks inwardly while looking in the direction of the forest in front of him.
"I don't know how I managed to get to the side of the huge patch of water that is much further away but I do know one thing! It's that I'm going home sooner or later!" Lobion affirms in his mind while having eyes showing confidence that he has in these abilities to succeed the task he has given himself!
Lobion continued to cut wood and to slide them on a side of the forest.
Several days pass, more exactly 9 days pass.
It has been more than 18 days since Lobion found himself lost in an unknown place. During the last 9 days, Lobion has cut more than 200 tree trunks!

Lobion himself is shocked that he was able to cut so many logs in such a short time!
"I'm sure my body has definitely changed! I have become so much stronger!" Lobion exclaims when he realizes the changes in his body!
"Since I came to this place my body has changed! More precisely, since I arrived at the rocks, where I made my temporary base!" Lobion said to himself while glancing in the direction of his base which is in the distance.
After Lobion finishes trying to understand the phenomenon that is happening in his body, he decides that it is time to do something more productive than panicking about a phenomenon that he does not know the causes or the source!
"First I need to cut these tree trunks to make planks of wood thin enough but not too thin to start making my exterior wall!" Lobion said while looking with a serious look at the trunks of wood in front of him.
These logs have a brown color that are different from the color of the Redia wood he used to make his spears and arrows and other handles of these tools. However, like everything else in this part of the world, the wood is dark brown...
"PA! PA! PA!"
So Lobion goes back to work after looking at the tree trunks that he decided to call oaks!
After more than an hour, Lobion finally succeeds in having several planks that are thick enough to start making the walls of his base. Indeed, these boards are all the same size which is about 8 meters and 30cm wide!
A tree trunk allowed him to have about ten planks of wood of this shape!
Indeed, these boards are more practical to transport with the help of his faithful steed which Malheus. He will be able to carry about one board per trip but since his base is not so far from the end of the forest, it will not take him much time.
However, this does not change that the project in which the young Lobion has just launched, is a very important project given these means more than limited!
So he continued for several days to cut the wood in this way to make boards of this size.
2 days later ...
"PIACH!" A noise comes to surprise Lobion who is concentrated to cut a trunk of oak that is in front of him.
This sound represents the end of life of his faithful companion who followed him during these last days of intense work...
His axe has finally given up his soul....
"Now I need to make a new axe! I will also make several to avoid this problem in the future!"
Indeed, Lobion had noticed that his axe was not cutting as well in the last few days but he did not give this problem more attention than that! However, it was a mistake on his part because his axe could not handle the workload and he now found himself without any tools to cut the tree trunks that lay before him by the hundreds!
But he didn't lose everything because since the last two days, Lobion has finished cutting 200 boards which are added to the 10 he already cut before.
He now has about 210 boards that will allow him to make his walls which he needs so much for the moment. These 210 planks are the result of more than 11 logs cut, so he still has about 190 logs of oak wood left!
"I also need to make tusks to put in walls to protect them such as spikes!" Lobion says to himself when he thinks about the future plan of his base in his head.
