Chapter 6: We broke up (Strange)
"Mister I got to go so see you never," I told him before rushing down to where I was previously seated with Emily, and to my greatest surprise, she was seated there in one piece 'ah thank goodness she wasn't involved in a fight today' I said inwardly before making up a mental note to ask her what was going on since she wasn't in high spirits.
"Hey babe are you ready to go," I asked smiling while walking toward her ignoring the commotion around us.
"Yeah...sure whatever," she replied with a sad expression on her face before picking up her jacket and almost stumbling causing me to laugh at her inwardly. Making our way toward the payment section of the club I pulled out my purse to pay for whatever we had but was stopped by the cashier,
"Miss the bill has been paid for by a gentleman he also told me to tell you that you both will be meeting very soon," the cashier replied enthusiastically as though he was paid heavily for the words he spoke, and truly he was paid for it. He could not help but smile as he remembered how he received the stack of cash from the handsome rich man, 'what a golden thigh to hold on to,' he could not help but exclaim inwardly.
Looking at me was Emily and I knew the kind of question she wanted to ask "when did you get acquainted with a man? my baby darling is wisening up that she needs a man in her life, this is good very good."
Making our way out of the club she continued to ask me questions like, "how is he like, is he cute, what does he do." bla, bla bla.
I turned to her before replying "if you want to know more about him tell me what is up with you first." I asked while gazing at Emily's downcasted face waiting for her explanations.
"It's nothing much really," Emily said while avoiding my gaze.
"Emily come on and talk about it you know we are best friends," I said while looking into her eyes and soon enough she burst out crying and sobbing at me, and at that moment I could see all the hurtful emotions flash through her eyes at one hurt, fear, sadness and despair. Trying to calm her sobbing self down she began,
"can you sob... believe Nadi he never loved me from day one ...sob...sob he was never truthful from day one of our relationship ...sob". I realized that we were still outside the club turning to her I asked " do you wanna take an uber or talk about it on the way as we walk."
"Uber please I have already cried and drunk enough I'm tired." After ordering the uber ride on my cell phone, we sat on a bench nearby while waiting for the uber and decided to talk about her 'heartbreak issue'.
"So you guys broke up,"
"yes we did, but I didn't want that to happen though we have an on and off relationship I greatly trusted him and-" after that sentence, she started wailing again
"It's okay shush and tell me what happened?, "I gently asked her while patting her back.
"It all started after you got your mail from the Armando's" but before she could continue the horn from the uber driver sounded making Nadia forget about Emily's explanation and made their way towards the vehicle. The car zoomed away from the club taking the two to their destination, home.
It was then two unnoticed figures in the dark came out from their hiding spot and went into the club. the two men their spy names being shadow one and shadow two were placed by their boss to monitor and relay to him their conversation.
Talk about gossiping, they were highly trained bodyguards but being used as a spying machine by their boss, it made them feel embarrassed but who were they to say it. They could only succumb to their boss's order.
"So should we return to the boss and tell him all this, it does not particularly seem interesting. "Shadow two asked shadow one.
"What! are you mad? I am in no position to bear your sins like last time let's tell the boss and leave maybe he might have other assignments for us." Shadow one replied.
After that little dallying, they returned to their boss who was in a private room with a group of foreigners they quickly relayed their message and the conversation they overheard before he let them out of the room.
"I do not need to hear such menial talks about the blond girl the only one I am interested in is the blackhead beauty, get it. and report me if you see any suspicious behavior coming from the weird blondie." He stated before releasing both men.
"Woah... that was so close," they both exclaimed as they exited the private room.
"Gentleman I am sorry for that inter interruption if you may continue," he said to the foreign investors urging them to continue with their presentation.
"It's okay Mr. Ajax there was no offense taken." the foreign investor replied.

The duo arrived at their rented apartment, one was a crying mess and the other with a tired look. Both girls were exhausted.
After hearing the condition her friend was in while in her relationship she felt very sad. "Not only is your ex-boyfriend a scum he is an incompetent ba**ard," Nadia cursed.
"Not only was he with a wife and kid, but he was also jobless and collecting money from you. Was that why you were not able to pay your part of the rent at a certain time? Nadia asked while gazing at her for an answer to which Emily only replied with a nod.
That answer totally shattered Nadia's heart and soon after both girls cried together sharing in Emily dark secrets from her already over relationship before passing out on the sofa.
