Chapter 8: Staying One Step Ahead.
Vivian thought of ways she could hurt Aliyah the most, as she would never live down that embarrassing moment. More than anything she wanted to leave training. However her ambitions persuaded her to remain there.
The day passed by like a blur, procedures and policies announced seemed like distant mumblings. That night as she returned to her home she decided she would call Olivia.
"It wasn't that bad," Olivia reassured. "Besides we are succubus it's what we do, I'm sure most of the others understood and I actually thought it was kind of hot", she giggled. Vivian knew that Olivia was only trying to make her feel better so she conceded, while inwardly plotting a strategy for payback .
Firstly, It's best not to give her a response Vivian thought, she feared that Aliyah thrived off of making others feel small. Secondly she would get to the root cause of what caused Aliyah's dissatisfaction with her and use that to her advantage.
Lastly , she would perform so well that the others would naturally gravitate towards her in spite of Aliyah, and when she finally obtained a position of power, she would make sure the woman suffered.
Though this plan went against Vivian's natural disposition she was determined to make it work.
The next morning when they arrived at training, Aliyah scorned at her. Vivian ignored the ugly glances coming from the woman . When it came time to review the handbook, she passive aggressively, remarked on being able to handle situations under pressure referring to the episode from the day prior.
Vivian smiled, and the more unfazed she seemed, the more Aliyah retorted. This alerted Vivian that her plan was working. She continued to endure, with enough pressure she knew the woman would break. "It's time for everyone to see the true Aliyah," she gloated as she grinned devilishly.
