Chapter 3: Chapter-2 :Introductions
3rd POV
Carter took john to the Nobel house of Darcy.
Carter explained the basic etiquette and rules that should be followed within the house.
John is surprised seeing how many people workers they have here.
They have butlers, maids, guards, and everything a kingdom should have.
It felt like a castle rather than a mansion for a Nobel.
After a long walk inside the castle. They have met the lord of Darcy's house, Byron at the throne room.
John is surprised to see a throne there. Normally kings would use it. He deduced that Bryon is like a king here.
John looked forward to see a man in his 30s who looked tough and strong at glance. He wears heavy armor that covered his entire body, only making his face visible.
Beside him, there is a 4-year-old girl with an emotionless expression in her eyes. She looks like a doll, expressionless and silent.
She has black hair and she is glaring at him with her red eyes.
John deduced she is cold and unfriendly at glance. It will be tough to talk to her.
Well, he broke the eye contact. He doesn't have time for any nonsense tsundere like a girl.
He doesn't give a shit if some of the people hate him. He will do what needs to be done in order to ensure his survival.
John and Carter bowed in front of the noble. Well, John did that to avoid any unnecessary conflicts.
"Raise," Byron told them
"Carter has told me a lot about you. He has begged me to provide a room for you in the servant quarter ."
"Although I don't know which role we should provide you with. In the meantime, I suggest you take a room in the servant quarters for a while until then. " Bryon told john
"In the future, you will get a role in the noble according to what you are you good at. Well, if you want to join our house if it is. "Bryon told john
Carter explained to the john all about the roles of a novel house family.
John after hearing that decided that the advisor role is the safest role he can have as. He need not protect anyone with his life and it is the role that has a high survival rate.
But he had to work hard in the intellectual department which is not hard for a reincarnated person like him.
"I Would like to be an advisor my lord. " John said bowing.
Being entirely dependent and not expecting Byron to babysit him would be a deluded fantasy.
"Good, we are lacking the role of advisors. You seem smart for a kid your age. I want you to be an advisor for my daughter in the future " Byron declared
"I don't miss a talent when I see one," Byron said observing John's skills.
John couldn't believe how Bryon has accepted him this quickly and appointed him as his daughter's advisor. It seemed like a wonder to him.
Little did he know . Byron has checked his potential and talents and he decided that he is worthy to be an advisor of his daughter.
Byron also wanted Athena to spend with someone her age like John.
Well, everything moves so fast to john for him to handle and digest.
Carter and Bryon left the room to discuss some noble affairs leaving Athena and John in the throne room while keeping some guards who are watching them.
Athena and John glanced at each other for a while.
"Do you know where the library is? " John asked the 4-year-old girl.
John wanted to know more about the world he currently resides in.
"Come," Athena said
John followed Athena to the library.

After following Athena for a while John had reached the library. He is surprised to see how big the library is.
It felt like even if he tried to read every book he would not complete even half of them even if he read them for his entire life.
John sighed feeling nauseous.
John saw a lot of cultivation and magic books. He is surprised to find a world that has both kinds of powerful techniques.
Athena stayed with him, while he is checking out the books with a curious look on his face.
He is reading the books for a while and began to understand the regions.
There are 5 regions in this world.
Atlas is ruled by a tyrant ruthless king .he rules the continent by sheer power, power is everything in that area. Strong are worshipped and weak are used as slaves
they have high military power but their resources are quickly running out. they specialize in brute force. good axeman, swordsmen, Lancers are made here. so people use mainly brute forces here
human values are very little and the tradition is that strong rules the kingdom.
Flora is ruled by a kind-hearted queen, who rules with the concept of a peace-seeking kingdom .she treats all people kindly and encourage the other kingdoms for peace treaty more than any ruler of the continent
Xianana is a world that resembles ancient Chinese. Which is a place famous for cultivators. The region is famous for its nonsensical and arrogant young master.
People use the divine art
"The place is also famous for people 'using women' up to their desires. And a lot of filthy homosexuals. "Athena replied
Before John could reply in surprise.
"The place is also famous for its lack of proper order, etiquette, discipline. On the conquest of power, they lose everything they hold dear. Full of irrational people "Athena finished.
John is wondering why is Athena so talkative about Xianana . And why does she hate them too much? John feels like it's not simple racism that made her behave like that.
It looked like she despised the way those people behaved. And also it seemed like she despised homosexual people
John on the other hand went back to his book. Reading about the other regions
Polis is a region in which all people practice magic
in this place, people with the most reputation and achievements, and talent are chosen as a leader
reputation means that the person who is well-known whether for their good or bad deeds
the most knowledgeable person is favored here
people use knowledge and their achievements to form political connections to gain power.
in this region power is everything
Byron Darcy is the current leader of the region.
"That's the region where papa rules "Athena replied.
It seemed like she is prideful about her family.
Xander is the last region on the map. Which has little information written in the book. Which John didn't find any relevant information useful to him
After reading for 4 and half hours John had signed. He always forgets about the time when he is in his reading mode.
He turned back and was surprised to see Athena has stood there.
John is surprised to see why she hasn't left him. Didn't she feel bored?
"Why are you still here ?"John asked with a tired expression. He is too tired for formalities for today.
"You are reading too fast and quick. And why are you checking the maps "Athena questioned him as she is surprised to see why someone reads normal maps.
"And I am interested in books too, you know "Athena replied to him as proud a 4 year can get.
Athena is curious about his strange behavior and the strange vibe she gets from him.
John sighed and replied
"I wanted to know more about the outer world we live in. As I didn't have books to read at home. I wasn't able to read a book before "John said the same story.
"Ok. Have you read a book about the black knight "
John began to get chills hearing the name.
"W-What do you m-mean," John said tensed.
"The black knight. He is like a god in our history books. He has killed many men, women, children without any mercy. He spares no one and he has monstrous strength and power. I know that many people fear him but he is my role model "
"When I become a big girl I will become like him and I will have all the regions grovel at my feet. I will rule them all. " Athena said with a determined expression.
It seemed like her bookworm side has taken over.
Athena excepted John to laugh at her words like everyone else.
"Ok. Good luck "John said
"What? And why are you not laughing like everyone else?. I am serious about it " Athena asked john
"It's good to have goals you know. I hope you succeed, unlike everyone who fails. " John said
"Thank you john, for accepting my goals. Everyone told me I am joking. I will show them I meant business " Athena replied
John is surprised to see a 4-year-old child acting like her. Then again this is a fantasy world where children are taken as soldiers
John has spent a long time with Athena in the library discussing and sharing their views while John makes sure he is careful enough not to reveal his past life and his dark secrets.
