Chapter 2: Starting Layout
-next morning-
It's early morning and the sun is shining beautifully on Konoha. The streets are bustling, street vendors are shouting, trying to attract customers. Konoha seems to be the perfect village, creating an illusion of prosperity and magnificence.
Yami is already awake, doing pushups in the courtyard of his small house. Sweat is running down his face, but he pays absolutely no attention to it. His eyes are firm and joyful. The feeling of becoming stronger makes him feel intoxicated, strengthening his determination to become the most powerful man in the ninja world.
An hour later he cleans himself up and switches to new clothes. He has completed the basic outline of his plan for the future, the night before. The early part of it can already be completed by him with his current strength. But now he has to go to school first.
Although Yami does not think that ninja school will help him much, it does create a kind of safe haven for him until he reaches a certain level of strength to protect himself. He has two years left until graduation and Yami will use these two years for training and strengthening himself with the system before he becomes a ninja and potentially gets into the sight of the high-level Konoha.
Deep in thoughts, Yami walks on Konoha's streets until he hears someone scolding:
"Disgusting demon fox, you should just die! If Lord Hokage wasn't so kind-hearted and did not protect you, I would kill you myself."
The eyes of the people are full of hatred and disgust, watching a helpless blonde young boy with whiskers on his face getting insulted. Yami recognizes him immediately, the protagonist, also the main target of Yami on his plan to get points. After all what way to change the plot is faster, than influencing the main character of the plot.
Naruto is standing with his head lowered, looking sad but also full of determination. Determination to prove to the villagers that he is not a demon fox, and to get recognition of everyone. To fulfill his dream and become Hokage.
As the protagonist, he would of course succeed too, but that is in a timeline without Yami, because Yami will not influence Naruto in a gentle way. It's the opposite. Yami has thought about it for a long time last night. Whether he should influence Naruto in a gentle way, letting him become the protector of Konoha and the savior of the ninja world, or if he should personally push Naruto into the abyss, making his already bad childhood even worse. Creating a demon, full of revenge and darkness.
In the end, he decided on a combination of the two choices. He decided to push Naruto into the abyss, but Yami himself would become the only light in Narutos life after that. The gentle teacher, the caring big brother, and the only warmth in Narutos cold life.
