Theo was dead and a portion of his conscience was saved by the system.

But that meant, a vast majority of 'himself' was missing.

"You wished for that not to have happened, right?" The goddess wondered, walking around on the water- ripples everywhere. "I can reverse your abandonment once and make sure the whole punishment thing never happened, but if you use that now, you won't be able to ever in the future… also I'll use my authority to make sure you get no penalties this time- almost as though the whole death thingy never happened." A solid PR grin. What was she- a veteran saleswoman?

'If I don't use it now, there won't be a future.' But that also meant- this goddess still had some powers left-

"Why?" Theo stared, clearly confused. He did ask her help but-

"I don't know- maybe I just want you to win and take over?" A snort.

"That's not it, is it?"
