Julie sighs and she replies with a yes. She said she secretly bought cosplays with the money she owns and keeps them in the guest room. We open the door to the guest room to check on them. The closet door is open and Ganyu's socks are on the bed, guess I forgot to put them away… oops.
She says she has many cosplays and wants me to try some on. "What about this one? Or this could fit nice!" 'Oh, I have a few cosplays at home.' Her eyes widen as if it could sparkle like those anime scenes. I turn on my phone and suggest we go to a comic con. She's never been to one because she would always get caught so we locate the place, and we head to the car with the cosplays in the bag, then we we're stopped by a man with a deepish voice. "Lady where are you going?" "O-oh! Heading to uhm…" I didn't want her to get in trouble, so I quickly make an excuse. 'We're going to a café! It recently opened near my town, so we wanted to try it. We might be back at 5:00 – 7:00 because I also have a reading essay to write.' Knowing that right now is 3:32 we had about 2-4 hours to do some fun activities! The man nods and leaves, Julie turns around and gives me a grateful smile. "Thank you!"
We arrive and it's 3:53, Guess it was our fault for taking the bus… We quickly rushed to the nearest bathroom to change into our cosplays. I was Keqing and she was Ganyu aka our favorite characters. (Again, not an ad) We see so many people, we take pictures with people, and I even told her I brought supplies to set up a booth! We made art for the next hour and realize it would soon be late! I didn't want Julie to get in trouble, so we got out of cosplay, packed up, and left to sit at the bus stop. I checked my watch again, it was 5:57. The sun is setting as we wait for the bus. A little bit tired and a little bit nervous…
I took a note out of my pocket and slipped it into Julie's purse as soon s the bus came. *SQUEAK* Perfect timing. We sit down and I share a treat with her. "Thank you…" 'Hm?' "Thank you for helping me. Getting us to the comic con, making an excuse to go here, and thank you very much for being my friend…" As she hugged me my heart burned, and I sat there quietly screaming in my head. My head feels hot, my body feels hot, I- uhm, yeah Julie is Hot…I MEAN!
We get back to her house and I take a snack to calm down. I wanted to talk to her about it but when I knocked on the door, I got no answer. I peeked in and saw that she already fell asleep. "Excuse me ma'am?" 'AHHCKKM!!' When I turned around and saw a woman is a maid-like outfit. "If you were gonna talk with Lady Julie, you should've done at 7:00." I check my watch, it was 8:27. Guess I took a bit to eat. I say thank you and bow. I head to my room, brush my teeth, wash my face, put on a night gown in the guest closet, and get ready for bed by turning my night light on. I really wanted to tell her about how I feel today but I guess I'll do it at school on Monday.
Time passes and I eventually fall asleep…
The sun rises and it's Sunday, the first thing I do is getting ready to head home on the local bus because Julie didn't seem to be awake at the moment. After making sure I got everything I write down on a piece of paper my number so she could call me later. On the paper… "Call me! >ω◕ my number à 806-###-####." I open the door and turn on some music on my headphones. I get on the bus and ponder…
I arrive home and clean up my stuff, then I hop on my computer and see that Nemui is on a discord call with her other friends. I text her to leave and call me instead. *RING RING* "Hello?" I exit call with a smile. Now I feel like Nemui is my therapist. *RING RING* I turn around to pick up my phone, It's and unknown number… I pick up the phone. "Hello? This is Julie." Oh! She actually called… uhm.
'H-hey! Its Vinyl in case you forgot.' "Nope I didn't! But why did you want me to call you?" Oh gosh… 'I didn't expect it right now, but I was planning on talking to you later.' "Talk about what?" 'Well… before I thought you were really mean.' "You did?!" 'N-not anymore though! I think I like you now.' "Aww, I like you too! You're a great friend you know! I really owe you on the comic con thing." She doesn't understand… does she. 'No Julie, I mean as like, like you! I think you're really pretty and I just didn't know when to confess.' "Oh…Oh! But my dad wouldn't support me!" 'Then we could maybe keep this a secret?' … "Okay then. I'll see you tomorrow, I guess!" After I hung up, I went to go write down in my diary. I'm so happy I could scream! Of course, I haven't told my parents that I like girls, well I did get caught fangirling over a character once, but my mom thought it was something I do when I play games. I hop into bed and happily fall asleep...
