Chapter 19: Unboxing
The finally day of this week long vacation had reached either end, with Kido getting himself ready for work and getting Ide ready for his enrolment in his first year of elementary school.
Kido was brushing Ide when they heard a ring on the door. Kido when to open the door, but saw two parcels on the floor. No one wa si the corridor.
Kido had figured out what the parcels were and brought them inside to open them.
Ide walked out of the bathroom with his pajamas on, to find Kido sitting in front of two packages.
"Whats that?" asked Ide curiously.
"Come on see what it is" said Kido waving his hand at Ide, to signal him to.comw over to him.
Ide ran over to Kido, his little feet creating a light pitta patta sound as they connected with the wooden flooring.
He sat next to Kido on the sofa, moving his head to get a better look at the parcels on the table.
Kido used [Sludge Manipulation] to make a sharp knife to cut through the tape, to open the parcels.
The first parcel he opened was a parcel full of documents.
Kido grabbed the document reading through, turns out the documents was a forged birth certificate, a Japanese passport, and other necessary documents.
Kido finally finished skimming through the documents, and looked at Ide who looked confused by the documents.
"What are those papers about?" asked Ide, who was stumped on the purpose of the papers.
"Well this means that you are now officially my son" explained Kido.
"REALLY!" shouted Ide who looked extremely happy about the news.
"yeah it does" said Kido.
"YESSSS!" shouted Ide as he jumped around the living room, fist bumping the air.
"HAHAHAHA!" laughed Kido as he watched Ide jump around with joy.
After Ide had calming down a bit, they went onto to open the next package on the table.
Ide was still excited about become Kido son, but focused his attention on next package.
Kido slowly open the package to increase the tension, and lifted the cardboard flaps to reveal what was inside.
Ide who was now stand up to get a better view of the inside of the box, hoping that it was going to be something cool.
But his expression changed to a confused one, when he only saw a pair of black latex gloves inside the box.
"Why a pair of gloves?" asked Ide visibly confused about the purpose of the gloves even through it was summer time.
"These gloves have been made with my sludge, which can block your quirk, so by wearing these gloves you can touch anything you want without killing them" said Kido explaining the gloves ability to Ide.
Ide who was previously confused was now very excited, he grabbed the gloves out of the box and quickly put them on.
Gloves, was made out of Kido's sludge meaning that the gloves would fit perfectly with any hand inside it.
Ide ran to the cage the hamsters were in and brought them out, and started to play with them.
childish laughter could be heard throughout the apartment.

After settling down Ide, Kido finished getting ready for work and clothing Ide, to get him ready for his enrolment.
Kido and Ide got into a taxi, to take it to the nearest elementry school, to UA Highschool.
He walked into the elementary school gates and walked up to a staff member with Ide.
"How may I help you?" asked the mald staff member, with his hand clasped together.
"May I know how to enroll my son, into this school?" asked Kido with confidence.
"Well sir, we would happy to go over the enrolment process on another date, as we have orientation today for the newly enrolled students" explained the man with a cheap smile on his face.
"I have to get to teaching my own students soon, so is it not possible to have him in the school for a day, to experience the school" asked Kido glancing at his wrist watch, as he spoke to the male teacher.
"Oh! Your a teacher as well" said the man with a surprise look on his face.
"May I asked where you teach?" continued the man, with the same cheap smile on his face.
<I bet he teaches somewhere terrible> internally thought the man, hoping to at least get cheap laughs from this.
"I work at the UA Highschool in the biology department" answered Kido, still glancing at his wrist watch.
The man facial expressions instantly changed to a expression of horror, as he looked at the man in front of him.
"w..w..we can make a place for your son for today" said the man as quickly changed back into the cheap smile, sweating running down his face.
He carefully watched what he said and agreed to allow Ide to experience school life for the time being.
<What the fuck? why did he change his mind?> thought Kido confused, but a glance at his watch quickly changed his focus.
"Thank you sir, and Ide behave at school you hear me" said Kido, to the man and Ide.
Kido quickly thanked the man again, leaving Ide in their care.
Ide crying could be heard from the distance but Kido continued to walk away from the gate. Heading to the road in front school gate to catch another taxi to UA Highschool.

Kido finally made it to the UA Highschool entrance, walking past the unobothered reporters, entering the General studies building.
"Hey! Tateno!" shouted a deep voice.
Kido looked back to see the Gym teacher lightly jogging towards him, waving one of his hands in the air.
"Hey Uyehara" replied Kido as he waved back, Uyehara quickly closing the distance.
"I heard you were sick for the past few days, how are you feeling" asked Uyehara placing his hand on Kido's shoulder.
"Yeah I had a cold, but I'm fine now" replied Kido.
"Come with for abit" said Uyehara waving his hand towards Kido.
Uyehara lead Kido to the roof, which the students were not allowed access to.
"Why did you bring me up here?" asked Kido who was visibly confused as to why he was brought up to the roof.
"I know what you did Kido" said Uyehara with his back turned to Kido looking into the horizon.
