Chapter 13: Become A Cold Bed

Leandra was still silent.

"What is the problem?" Renza asked straight to the point.

"I'm fine."

"No, you must have a problem. Tell me," Alcie asked.

"Rigel has been weird from last night and this morning."

"Strange?"

"He's become less talkative, I also ask questions, sometimes he answers, sometimes he just nods."

"What problems did you guys have before?"

"There's nothing wrong. I just told him you don't have to be nice, and want to know all my business, just like that, there's nothing strange, right?"

"Lea, you shouldn't be like that. Look, he's trying to treat you well, that's his name," explained Renza.

"So what should I do?"

"How's Ren?"

"Try to greet him, apologize if necessary."

"Oh! Why apologies to him, I didn't do anything wrong."

"But you're gloomy with his cold demeanour."

"I don't know, I'm dizzy. New high school kids are getting married like this."

Leandra is also confused about how to feel, to be honest, she also doesn't feel comfortable if she just stays silent when she is with Rigel.

When it came time to go home, Renza and Alcie brought Leandra to their house. However, until seven o'clock in the evening, Leandra had not entered the house. He forgot to bring the key that Rigel had given him. When he was about to make a call, he was embarrassed and scared too, so he just waited in the chair until he fell asleep.

Rigel who just got home was surprised to see Lea sleeping on the chair. Immediately he woke up.

"Lea, wake up. Move inside."

"Aaah!" Lea screamed in surprise at the person in front of her.

"It's me."

"Oh sorry, I was surprised."

"You didn't bring the key?"

Leandra shook her head.

"Come in."

Leandra obeyed Rigel's orders, she immediately cleaned herself and after that, she felt hungry but she had not cooked anything. He wanted to cook but because of Rigel's cold attitude, he became reluctant to do anything in the house. Even all this day Rigel had only uttered a few words to Lea.

The bed tonight is really cold, no arguing whatsoever. Even the condition of the house became very quiet. Leandra left the room because she was hungry. But he saw Rigel was in the kitchen finally he waited until Rigel was not in the kitchen.

Leandra is a bit worried if there is still no greeting with Rigel because tomorrow is Sunday which means being at home all day.

"Why haven't you slept yet?" asked Rigel who startled Lea in front of the bedroom door.

"It's okay," Leah answered doubtfully.

Rigel immediately went to his study without asking if Lea had eaten or not, not even asking anything else.

'Why him? If this is the case I want to go home.'

Leandra grumbled while exploring the contents of the kitchen until finally she cooked fried rice and did not forget to set aside one portion for Rigel. It was getting late and it was time to rest, but Rigel didn't sleep. He's still stuck in his office. But not long after he entered the room and seemed to be going to sleep too, Leandra quickly pretended to be asleep. But still, Rigel was silent.

07.00 AM

Leandra was already in the kitchen and was planning to cook breakfast, she saw the fried rice that Rigel had not touched at all last night, she felt annoyed and confused at Rigel. They met in the kitchen while Rigel was making coffee. Rigel did not greet Leandra or glance at her at all.

"Rigel," Lea called because she couldn't stand the cold conditions.

Rigel just cleared his throat.

"Did you hear me or not?"

"Why Lea?" asked Rigel, watching him.

I don't know where the wind came from suddenly Leandra burst into tears, suddenly it made Rigel confused.

"Why are you crying? Is there a problem?"

"What are you doing? What did I do wrong to you?"

"It means?"

"Why is it so cold? Or are you just doing what you want? Or are you going to take me home too?"

"Lea, don't overdo it. I don't have to say hello to you of your own accord."

"Yeah, but, I don't know."

"Okay, I'm sorry."

Leandra was still crying, I don't know what she felt but she felt annoyed mixed emotions. Rigel patted Leandra's shoulder, actually wanting Rigel to hug her but how could he dare to do that.

"Don't hold it!"

"So I just let you get angry later, I'm confused Lea, I don't know how you feel."

Leandra walked into the room and seemed to be crying even more, while Rigel looked at her in amazement. Rigel followed in Leandra's footsteps.

"Lea," Rigel called as he grabbed his hand and hugged Leandra's tall body.

Surprisingly Leandra did not refuse a hug from Rigel at that time. He resides in Rigel's chest.

"Hey, what's wrong with you Lea? Come on, don't be like this, I've never faced a woman like this."

Leandra quickly let go of the hug.

"So what kind of girl are you dealing with?"

"The woman who almost every minute argues with me, that's all I know. Okay, I'm sorry for my attitude that might make you uncomfortable. If you feel bad say it, because I'm not a witch doctor or fortune-teller who always knows your thoughts."

"No, maybe I'm wrong. Sorry."

Leandra wiped the remaining tears from her cheeks.

"It's still Lea, it's still past seven and we've been arguing this early. Are you tired of what?"

"No!"

"What do you want? What do you need now?"

"Eat."

"Okay do you want to buy or I cook?"

"Can you cook?"

Rigel nodded his head firmly.

"Oh no, I'll just cook it myself. Watch out!" bumped into Rigel who was near the door and went into the kitchen.

Rigel was still really thinking hard about why his wife was like that, angry, crying and arguing non-stop. He decided to sit in the living room while doing some work.

"Aww!"
