Chapter 259: keep a distance

"I was to use the restroom," Emily said. The way Eric was looking at her made her to to accept him but she could not.

"It that door," Eric pointed at the direction of the restroom. Although Emily did not accept him , he was glade that she did not reject him as firmly as she did previously.

Eric phone rang the moment Emily walked into the restroom. Eric reluctantly looked at the caller's ID. Although it was showing Greg his assistant, he felt that his parents were the ones trying to reach him.

He did not want to talk with his parents but worried that Greg might be calling for something important he picked up the call.

"Where are you?" His father's code voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Where I want to be," Eric replied. He knew it would be stupid to tell his father the exact location he was at. His father's would definitely try to take him back to the party. After all there was still enough time to send the guest off.
