Chapter 177: Eureka! It's finally Done

With everything ready to go, everyone crowded around, stretching their necks and zooming their eyes in at maximum capacity to see what sort of sorcery their settlement leader was planning to do. 

First, Wolfram filled one of the large barrels with stream water. 

The bathing barrel was round and large, but only tall enough to reach one's thighs. 

As the name suggested, it was a bathing barrel, one wide enough to fit one adult or 2 children playing with bubbles while bathing. 

It could also be used as a laundry barrel, used by the women and men to wash clothes and dishes in. 

Now, with the wide barrel half way full, Wolfram held out a sac full of quicklime, suspending it over the water. 

"Now, everyone, watch closely, this is the start of the saponification process."
