Elyn and Seryn saw their princess deep in thought and the unveiled complicated emotions on her face, while the maid continued rubbing scented oil foam on her hairs. So, Seryn asked gently, " Milady, what's wrong? You look tense? Is every thing alright? "

Eiana looked lost. And both her ladies in waiting could not worry more! They were accompaning the princess since they were kids. As the daughters of one of the Dukes in the kingdom, they had the privilege of being the princess's close friends since they were little and later when they turned sixteen and the princess turned fourteen they became her ladies in waiting.

They knew her for almost five years now, but this is the first time, she looked so lost and tensed. She has always been lively and carefree. What happened to her now

She isn't even taking to them. Any other time, she would have poured her hearts to them already.

"Yes milady, you can tell us anything you want. We are here for you. " Seryn said.

Eiana was brought back from her daze and she got startled for a moment when she heard their words. She realised that she has worried both her ladies in waiting to death. In order to ease them, she smiled lightly and said, " Oh, that I heard that the vampire king may wage a war against our kingdom, so I am a little worried. " She didn't want to tell them the whole truth, as she was worried that they might also get depressed with her. She knew her friends very well .

Hearing this Elyn and Seryn looked as if they got enlightened. Oh, so this is why princess looked so worried. No wonder, it really is a pressing matter.

Seryn nodded and said, " Then His Majesty must take an action as soon as possible. I heard that the new Vampire king is very cruel and heartless. He is really a dangerous being. Not to mention, there are so many types of rumours around about him , and none of it is likeable. "

A chill ran down Eiana's spine, she knew about this too. A year ago, the Crown of Veleris, the Vampire kingdom was changed. An ancient pure blooded royal blue Vampire came out of God knows where and seized the throne from the then royal family. It was a one man slaughtering.

Ofcourse, which ever royal family members protested were killed along with their supporters. The rest were either put to dungeon or slaved. Even many innocent people too lost their lives in this war of possession.

The man who can cause such a war against the whole royal family and can even defeat them alone, how can he not be a threat to the human existence? Totally heartless.

And now this dangerous, heartless and cruel being is her possible husband!

But Eiana knew only this much about Veleris, Vampires and their Vampire king. As belonging to different race, since many years, they never had too much interactions with the Vampires or the kingdom of Veleris.

Cenia and the other neighbouring kingdoms were happy knowing keeping as much distance as they can from Veleris.

And ofcourse, Cenia was the one maintaining the most.

And more over as a pampered princess, her father and brothers always did everything to keep her away from the cunning politics and unwanted things. She was always grown in a protected atmosphere.
