Location: California Military Base
As the Boeing 747's big door opened. There stood Tony Stark and his best buddy Rhody. Who looks like Don Cheadle by the way. That guy fits perfectly. I don't know why they changed actors but it's whatever.
There was an ambulance team with nurses and a stretcher. But Tony didn't care about that. The ramp lowers and Rhodey helps Tony down. The medical team tried to get to him but Tony just walked past them. They just watched helplessly as Pepper ran up to Tony.
" Your eyes are red. A few tears for your long-lost boss?" Tony said slyly as they hugged.
"Tears of joy. I hate job hunting." Pepper said back smiling. Inside she was truly feeling happy, but Tony didn't need to know that. And was is this nervous feeling that is in here right now?
After that half cute and half awkward moment, Tony, Pepper and Happy went to a car. After getting in and putting on their seat belts."Take us to the hospital, please, Happy." Pepper said. She could somehow feel that Tony was very uncomfortable behind that suit.
"No." Was all that Tony said. He didn't had the time to go to the hospital. He needed to do something else. Something important.
"No? Tony, you have to go to the hospital." Pepper insisted frowning. She didn't know why her boss was like this. Can't he show humility for once in his life.
"No is a complete answer." Tony said dominantly. He didn't understand why his assistant was like this. Can't she just ask him why for once in his life. He gets why she's like this, she's worried about him. But now is not the time to be humble.
" The doctor has to look at you." Pepper insisted again. "Goddammit can't you just listen to me. We've known each other for God knows how long and you've never listened to me before. Except when you got sick and i had to take care of you you listened to me. Whyyyyyyy can't you just do that. I like that part of Tony —wait what am I thinking about? He's my boss!" Pepper somehow thought about allllll of that in one second.
" I don't have to do anything. I've been in captivity for three months. There are two things I want to do. I want an American cheeseburger, and the other..." Tony said but Pepper cut him off.
"That's enough of that." Pepper thought he was going to drink again. She hated when he drinks. Because when he drinks, all hell hoes lose.
"...is not what you think. I want you to call for a press conference now." Tony finished his sentence confidently. He had to do this. He has to. If not, what will happen to the world if he continues. What will happen to his legacy?
"Call for a press conference?" Pepper asked confused. She didn't know what her boss is doing. "What is he doing now? Is he going to introduce a new weapon or something?" Pepper thought for the worse.
" Yeah." Tony just said. He didn't want to tell her anything just yet. She can get mad and faint after the press conference.
"Well if you are okay with it. Then I'm okay with it too." Tony smiled and mentally cringed at that. She's not going to be okay with it, he's sure of it. He then turned to Happy
"Hogan, drive. Cheeseburger first." Tony said.
"Gotcha boss." Hogan complied and drove off to a nearby Burger King.
(Meanwhile with Peter)
Peter and the whole team are currently in the meeting room. Matt is here, Thomas is here. You get the point. It's important
"Okay guys so we just got confirmation that Tony Stark has come back home. He is currently driving to... Burger King?" Peter said confused.
"I mean man's stuck in the desert for three months. You gotta give him that American delicious." Wes said.
"You gotta point there. And back at Stark Industries there is a commotion." Peter said and put up a live stream to the TV in front of them from his tablet.
"We are here at Stark Industries. Right outside of the conference room waiting on Mr Stark to arrive. He has called a conference. We don't know the reason but we are giving you more updates every minute. This is Rachel from the Daily Bugle. Stay tune." Rachel said and the ads came.
"So Mr Stark wants to say something. What does he want to say though?" Matt said.
"I dunno... maybe cancel the weapons department." Wes said. All of them looked at him with the 'Are you fucking serious ' look. Except for Thomas and Matt though. They considered that as a bug possibility. Peter just knows because he's reincarnated but he's trying to forget that he is reincarnated.
His old life is gone now and he has to adapt if he wants to survive. His last life doesn't matter in this world and he knows it. Now he just wants to focus on the new and the now.
"That is a big possibility. The fact that he called it immediately says something." Thomas said.
"And that the fact the he has been kidnapped after he displayed Jericho to the military says a lot as well. And how did he get out? It's practically impossible when you have no military training and the skills to fight." Matt said.
"He doesn't need military training. He got out with something or someone. I'm betting all my money on the something that he built. He's a genius in the military stuff after all." Peter said.
"What are you trying to say. That he built a suit made out of iron to get out or something?" Wes said and everybody except the three looked at him with the same expression again.
"Better watch what you're saying Wes cuz that might actually happen. He has the brains and the necessary resources to do so. The only thing he lacks is a power source of ten nuclear plants which is not even remotely possible without blowing yourself up when you use the suit." Peter said.
" But you did it. Why can't he? " Wes said.
" Boi are you tryna drag me down or something? " Peter thought but answered" Well thing is me and Karen know what we are actually doing, we've done the research and calculation. Tony... is stuck in a cave. God knows where that cave is but I imagine that cave is blown up with a pile of bodies under it. He doesn't know the risks that he is taking when doing it. Can you imagine the poisoning. It must be killing him every second." Peter said.
" And he doesn't has his AI helping him. The calculations in his head is maybe wrong. But hey he got out so maybe he did it right. But how the fuck did he put a giant energy source into one small thing?" Peter ranted but everybody understood him.
" We'll figure that out overtime. Look the car's coming in. " Wes pointed out. We see a car coming to the driveway with reporters taking pictures of it with their ever flashing cameras.
" Mr Stark! Mr Stark! " Reporters shouted from everywhere.
When the team watched this. They knew it was going to be chaos. But they didn't know what will come next.
