Chapter 38: Last one
"Sooooo kiddd.... you want me, CEO of Nike to partner with you.... CEO of Arasaka. What do you want with us again?" The CEO of Nike, John Donahoe II asked.
(I know John became CEO in 2020 but whatever. It works)
"So we want to create a shirt that is so comforting and so convenient to put on." Peter said drinking his latte. He had met up with John at a local Starbucks to discuss a partnership with him. He had a product in mind that will help a lot of people surviving in different conditions all over the world.
"Yes I heard that part but the others I didn't as I spaced out deciding if I should partner with you or not. " John said sheepishly.
"Well the shirts have a little cooler and heater in them. They will be put in little chips that are very small that the naked eye almost can't see it. Then the chips will be put in the front, side and the back of the shirt. " Peter explained.
" That sounds like something from a fiction story." John said suspiciously.
" You've seen what we made John. The Holo 1 and he 3D printer are exactly from a fiction story. I'm sure you've bought it right? How is it. Does it work marvelously? " Peter said smiling.
" Yes it does. We've already put the Holo 1's in almost every Nike store in America and Canada." John said.
" You guy move fast. You bought half of the first batch of Holo 1s produced. Which is 10000 Holo 1s gone to you." Peter said.
" Can we continue on your grand explaination? I wanna hear what you've got for me. " John said leaning in.
" Well you've already heard about the cooler part. That can work anywhere. Stuck in a hot desert? Don't worry, The Nike Air 1 got you. Cold in Mount Everest? Don't worry, The Nike Air 1 got you. Be cool and warm at any situation. " Peter said.
" You aren't done are you? I'm sure of it." John said confidently
" What makes you say that?" Peter asked intrigued. John knows him very well.
"Well the other products were masterpieces. This product ending like that is really disappointing. There really is more I'm sure of it." John said certain of his statement.
" Well you're correct there is a lot more to it. And it's going to get really complicated. " Peter said.
" Not only does the shirt cool and warm you. It is also liquid absorbant. It absorbs sweat, water, whatever liquid that is on your shirt like a bitch. So you don't have to worry about sweaty and wet shirts bothering you. " Peter said and took a sip of his coffee.
" Very useful. I don't know why but athletes and exercise freaks are definitely going to notice it. " John said.
" They definitely will. Plus the shirt will be made with very durable material researched by the geniuses at Arasaka." Peter finished.
" How durable we talking? " John asked.
" You're going to feel nothing when someone hits you. That's how durable it is. " Peter said.
" It's true? " John asked excited.
" When have Arasaka lies about it's products? Especially one as special as this. This could make our company earn billions of dollars. Do you not want that? " Peter asked.
" And what does that cost me? " John asked. Every opportunity comes with a cost —some economist.
"A 40% royalty for every shirt you sell. And a 10% stake at your company. That is all. " Peter offered.
" THAT'S ALL! " John shouted. All of the people looked at him and he waved at them. " It's nothing serious. I just overreacted is all. " John made up an excuse. It seemed like it worked but it didn't. The public are paying more attention to the conversation now. Especially our friendly reporter Rachel. If you're wondering where she's from. She's from Criminal Case. It's a game if your wondering. She was wondering why two of the most hottest people were out and about discussing things. She's definitely writing something about this.
Of course she'll leave out important details to keep the public curious about it. Another reason is so that she won't be sued and hunted down for leaking confidential plans.
"Well done John. You now have the whole people of Starbucks paying attention to the both of us." Peter said sarcastic.
"Look I just overreacted. I thought you would ask for more." John said.
"Like what? Buying Nike? I'm not ever taking away someone's hard work. Especially things that are worldwide." Peter said.
" You have a deal. Can you send me more details of the new product to my computer? I want to prepare for the production and launching. " John said.
" Already sent. Take your time. Or not. " Peter said as John left immediately.
" Goodbye. " John said before leaving.
" And he's leaving me here to pay. What kind of homie is this? " Peter said before leaving cash and went back to the headquarters for the interviews.

Peter and team (Except for Matt and Thomas) just got done with the interviews. They were very tired. And the worst thing is, no one got hired. Some don't even know what a dream is. Some are retarded. Some don't even know what they're doing here. Some... some are just fans that want to meet the team which they appreciated but they wanted to be serious and professional.
"God fucking damnit. The elimination process didn't work. No one got accepted. What now?" Wes said lying on the table.
" We wait. There's still one more person we need to interview." Peter said looking at the screen in front of him.
*Ring ring ring*
The screen in front of them ring with a name. 'Shuri'
Peter went wide eyed. "No fucking way it's her right. There's no way she would. It must be another girl named Shuri. If it's her I'll consider it a success. "
"What are you guys staring at. Accept the call." Miya said done with this.
"Ding."
Peter went wide eyed again.
