"Where is she?"

A loud, strong voice, vibrating with fury echoed throughout the house.

It woke Rosie up from a fitful sleep. That and because her door was partially open because Dustin had requested it so they could check into her from time to time.

The alarm clock told her it was just half past 4 in the morning. Sliding off the bed, she grabbed a silk robe and pulled it tightly closed over her shorts pajama set. She tiptoed to the door and slowly pulled it wider open. Denver frowned at her outside. She forced a smile.

"Am I being summoned by my boss?"

He glanced down the hallway. "You might as well come out if you're already awake. He'll want to see you."

Well, she wanted to see him too.

Cedric was standing in the middle of the great room, black fury sparkling like demons in his eyes. They found her, standing on top of the stairs, looking hesitant, and he moved towards her, a man on a mission.
