Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Ruby Rose (3)
~Third POV~
Roman Torchwick and four of his henchmen head down an alley from the shadows.
They stop behind Roman, who reignites his cigar without touching it, and grins before walking down the road, frightening nearby citizens as they make their way towards the shop From Dust Till Dawn.
Roman and his henchmen enter the shop, as a young girl wearing a hooded red cloak in the corner of the shop, reading a weapons magazine. The henchmen look around and at the Dust crystals in the display when Roman approaches the elderly shopkeeper.
Roman Torchwick began licking his cigar as he began to ask the shopkeeper in an arrogant tone to him, "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?"
One of the henchmen points his gun at the shopkeeper as he began raising his hands in fear as he tried to plead to them, "P-please! Just take my Lien and leave!"
Roman smiled at this as he motioned to his henchmen as he began to move the owner in a kind tone, "Shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money. Grab the Dust."
A henchman opens a case and removes one of several cylinders, which the group uses to take Dust from the tube containers on the walls and demand from the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper proceeds to fill the case.
As another henchman goes for another tube, he hears the muted This Will Be the Day song from the girl's direction and unsheathes his sword as he spoke to her as his pointing sword at her back, "Alright kids, put your hands where I can see 'em. Hey, I said hands in the air! You got a death wish or something!?"
He goes over to her and turns her around, the hood dropping to reveal a surprised Ruby Rose wearing headphones.
He motions for her to lower them as Ruby asked confused as she is doing so as Albus prepares himself in the process, "Yes? Oh, wait are you robbing me?"
Henchman yelled at this clearly angry, "Yes!"
Ruby nods her head slowly at this with the obvious response, "Ooohhh..."
*Swoosh*
That was when Albus began to use his Telekinesis skill <Object Calling> taking away his sword into his hand and immediately placing it into his inventory, "Tch. No need for violence young man. But now that you disarm… you know what to do Ruby."
Forming a small smile on her face she readies herself as the Thug with the Lv.18 gulps at this nervously, "Oh no…"
"Hey!"
"Hyah!"
Roman is waiting for his men to finish the heist when they heard a commotion going on, and the threatening henchman flies past him. Roman calmly motions for another to handle Ruby and Albus' direction.

One of the Henchman thugs raised his gun at them with a cold tone yelling at them, "Freeze!"
*Swoosh*
Once more Albus took away that Thug handgun from their hand into his own and sent it to his private inventory as he wags his finger at them as if disciplining a child for foul behavior. Ruby only nods her head in gratitude for it.
*Swoosh*
*Crash*
*Crack*
Not losing a moment, when the henchman was tackled down and Ruby crashed through the window charging at him. The other men look outside as Ruby gets up and unfolds Crescent Rose into its scythe form.
Roman scowls, but Ruby smiles back at them before twirling the weapon around, striking it into the ground, and turning off her headphones. Roman began to speak to his remaining henchmen in a nervous tone before returning his attention at hand, "Okayyy... Get her!"
The Thugs head out of the shop and run at Ruby, who spins around on top of her scythe and kicks the first approaching criminal in the face. She gets Crescent Rose out of the ground and fires it off to hit another one with the butt of her weapon, sending him flying.
She fires again and brings the side down on one attacker and dodges the next's gunfire with her rifle's speed, getting close enough to knock him into the air and follow him upwards so she can beat him away to Roman's feet.

As the Thug's weapons were thrown into the air the red swords or handguns were all taken away from the fight and into Albus' inventory as he thinks to himself, 'This is certainly a good thing Ruby taking care of those thugs. 18, 17, 20, 18, and 19 Exp points I got from this thanks to Ruby handling those thugs. This pretty much granted me a total of 92% Exp only 8% more to go.'
Roman began to talk to Ruby, dropping his cigar and crushing it with his cane as approaching police sirens are heard as he raises his cane and opens the bottom to reveal a rifle with a cross grid, "You were worth every cent. Truly, you were. Well, Red, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around... I'm afraid this is where we part ways."
Before the shot was fired Albus began to interfere again before Roman turned his weapon around to Albus making Ruby's eyes widen at this as he spoke happily, "Oh don't worry pretty boy. I didn't forget about you."
*Bang*
Roman unleashes a red blast at Albus, at him and making his getaway forcing Ruby to act quickly to save him. However, a smirk was across his face as he acted quickly using his <Orbital Field> as the small blast that was unleashed from the Roman weapon began to get manipulated turning it around to Roman once it entered his range before using <Telekinetic Maneuver> to change its course.
Roman glanced back as he saw his own attack was returned to him as Albus smirked at this as he responded to him while placing his wagging finger at him, "Tch. Tch. Tch. Tch. Why mister thief Roman... I wouldn't recommend doing that but you know the saying… What comes around goes around."
*Boom*
The red blast was unleashed as Roman hops out of the blast range jumping onto the ladder and is climbing up a ladder on a nearby building. Roman makes it to the roof, with Ruby high-flying again and landing right behind him.
Following after Albus began to use <Levitation> on his clothes to fly up in the air for a brief time but follow suit climbing up as well knowing the plot to help Ruby out.
Ruby readies to fight him while Albus provides support activating his aura skill providing as protection, but a getaway Bullhead rises up and opens the hatch to allow Roman inside when he began turning around and holding up a red Dust gem speaking to the two, "End of the line, Red and pretty boy."
He throws it out at her feet and fires at them making Albus go ahead headfirst as he thinks to himself with a nervous expression on his face, 'Oh this is so going to hurt a lot. But the benefits are so going to be worth it if I get the skills I hope to get.'
*Bang*
*Boom*
Next resulting in a large explosion.
Ruby looks a bit horrified at Albus as he took the blast fully even when he heard the damage he took from them as he saw the window saying he took some damage.

As Albus managed to make it through with a bit of damage taken as he saw his HP bar going down he looked fine as he sigh out in relief making Ruby's eyes widen at him, "Wha! But how! I saw the damage and you're aura brake but no burns or marks or anything what – "
Interrupting Ruby's worries Albus began to reply to her about his semblance from earlier as he briefly explains to her about the physic of his body, "Miss Rose do recall that I'm now a video character have I? Must I repeat myself that since I'm a video game character damage like this only hits my HP but my body is still good as ready?"
[Through tanking a blast of fire, a skill to tank fire and resist it has been generated.]
[Skill: <Fire Resistance> has been learned.]
[Through continuous beating, skill has been generated the body's durability increases, allowing for less damage taken.]
[Skill: <Physical Endurance> has been learned.]
"How are you ok?!!"
A woman in a purple cape is now in front of Ruby, casting a circle of protection over them with her wand but the look of shock was expressed on her face seeing Albus' body seeing no signs of burn or damage on him.
As Ruby and Albus look on, Glynda Goodwitch waves her weapon and summons several streaks of purple at the craft. Roman is thrown around in the back till…
*Swoosh*
At that moment as a minute have passed Albus targeted his weapon cane as it came to him than inside his inventory as Roman argues back, "You bloody thief! Give back my weapon- how are you standing!"
Glaring his eyes at him he gave him the middle finger as he replied with a rage clearly in his voice as he replied to him, "How about bloody no you prick. I personally don't like the feeling of being exploded or the pain of burning so… Fuck you."
Glynda frowns at this but doesn't respond as Roman goes to the cockpit, where a woman in red, her face unseen, is struggling with the controls as he began to explain to her that a Huntress is after them. This makes the woman get up and head toward the back as Roman takes the controls.
Glynda glows purple for a moment and aims another blast above the craft, resulting in a dark storm-cloud right over the jet causing him to be confused.
With a flick of her wand, large jagged hail starts falling that pummels the jet and even breaks through the window, narrowly missing Roman's head.
The woman reaches the back and her arms and chest light up like fire, aiming a burst of energy at Glynda. The Huntress blocks it, but the flame splatters behind her and glows hot with the enemy's raised hand.
Glynda back-flips out of the explosion, which destroys part of the roof, and magically gathers the shards to create a large arrow, which she throws at the craft.
The fiery woman shatters the arrow with several blasts, but it reforms just in time to hit the side of the jet due to Roman's quick aerial lean. The wreckage separates and reshapes into more arrows that encircle the jet, but the woman summons several glowing rings around herself that expand and destroy the shards.
Ruby and Albus, finally act again as Ruby reverts her scythe into its rifle form to fire at the woman, who blocks each shot and creates several blazing circles around her two opponents. Glynda telekinetically pushes Ruby and Albus as she rolls herself out of the explosion's radius; looking up to see the hatch close and the craft fly away.
Albus took a glance at the person who attacked as he narrowed his eyes at the knowing culprit as he used his observation skill to see her title and everything.

When everything was over as Ruby was looking at Glynda putting on a pleading, awe-stricken face as she spoke happily, "You're a Huntress! Can I have your autograph?!"
Albus sighs at this knowing he's going to have to explain some things about himself and answer some questions.
