Chapter 2: Senwa and it's Marketing Team
While walking down the corridor, she received a series of well wishes and greetings from a senior colleague, while the working staff was passing by her. She gave a small smile and a slight nod to them as she walked ahead and entered her cabin with strong bold steps. Pushing the door open, she entered inside, while her assistant followed behind her! after greeting her outside, near her desk. Kwan settled down on her office chair while settling the things in her hand on the table. She switched on her system and then once glanced at her assistant as a sign to read out her schedule for the day. As if on cue, her assistant started filling her in with the schedules and meetings she had. And at the end, asked, if she was fine with it or did she need to revise some things in the schedule.
Kwan raised her head and looked at her assistant. With a soft sigh, she informed her she was fine with everything and to just go ahead with it. After getting the needed orders and permissions for her work, her assistant, with a slight bow and a professional smile left her cabin and proceeded towards her desk just outside Kwan's cabin.
Min Si Ho was a very professional and strong character just like her superior. She was Park Kwan's assistant who was very efficient in her job just like how Park Kwan wanted her to be. She has been working together with Park Kwan since Park Kwan joined the company and she was also her junior from the university days, so Park liked her a lot.
Both of them were somewhat similar in people. With their cold and distant vibes, people always felt intimidated by their presence. Both started their day, as usual, busy and hectic as always. Being the Director of the marketing department had its pros and cons while being the assistant of such a busy director also brought cons along with its pros.
After dismissing her assistant, she turned towards her system and then turned on her laptop. She had a meeting to attend right ahead with her team. They needed to finalize the spokesperson for their new sports collection. While she was busy checking the files and the documents related to the meeting ahead, she subconsciously took a bite of the sandwich Ms. Gong had prepared for her along with the coffee. So while working and checking the documents she finished her breakfast swiftly. Guess she was hungry and the sandwiches were truly delicious. She made a mental note to thank Ms. Gong later for preparing such delicious sandwiches for her.
As if on cue, Min Si Ho came inside after knocking with a file in her hand. She said with a small smile, "Director Park, the list of all the potential athletes along with their details are inside the file. I've prepared them just the way you asked. Park Kwan looked at the file and took it to read the details. After going through the file, she was satisfied with Mih Si Ho's work.
With a small smile, she praised her, "Thank you. You did well. Is everything ready for the meeting? "
"Yes, Director. Everything's ready." Assistant Min replied in a professional tone.
"Okay. Let's go."
Inside the conference hall, everybody was sitting down and busy checking their documents and papers, as they had to present their views and points. Usually, they were never this nervous but as today they had a meeting with the head of the department, Director Kwan, they couldn't help but be nervous. Kwan was never a scary person but the aura around her made people nervous to add to it, Kwan was a very professional person when things came to work. he was very professional and strict. As everybody was busy, either straightening their outfit or their documents, they suddenly heard the clicking sound of heels approaching the room. All of them stopped doing whatever they were doing and straightened on their respective seats.
The door was pushed open and entered a young woman in a professional black business suit was. Her hair was put into a ponytail and her hand had a black file and a laptop. As she entered, she kept holding the gate for the person just behind her. As the people inside noticed the person just behind asst. Min, they couldn't hide the nervousness along with the admiration they had for this person. Another young lady entered the meeting hall with her strong and collected steps in her black stilettos. She was wearing a white business suit under which she had a cream turtleneck giving her a very professional and independent vibe. She had a calm but stoic face. Everybody in the room stood up looking at who had entered the room and greeted the said person.
Kwan nodded and asked them to take their respective seats. She took her steps towards the seat reserved for her and took the seat. Following her asst. Min too took her seat.
Park Kwan took a look at everyone present and then looking down at the file in front of her, ordered in her calm but firm voice, "Let's start the meeting"
The marketing team of Senwa had a total of three managers and their respective teams working under them and the head of this particular department was Park Kwan. Even Park Kwan had a special team to assist her. So in total, there were 3 Sub units along with a special sub-unit working directly under Park Kwan.
As the meeting started, one of the managers stood up and walked towards the projector. The man was known as Kim Tae Jun. He was in his late 30s. His team was the one assigned to this project. And so he would be the one to discuss the issue for the meeting.
As the meeting went by and Manager Kim was towards the end of the presentation, Kwan was intently engrossed in the presentation. But she had a slight frown on her beautiful cold face. Without waiting for him to finish, Kwan spoke in her firm voice, "Who was the one to develop this project?"
Manager Kim abruptly shut his mouth and the rest of the people present looked toward Kwan. There was an eerie silence in the room.
