Chapter 2: 2. Grand Pagoda and a Disciple
After telling everyone to back up out of the square in front of the Pagoda, Orval stood there alone. A moment later the Black book came floating to his side. Almost out of nowhere a little boy about 5 or 6 years old appeared next to him. The boy was translucent, with a golden glow.
Suddenly, Orval raised his hand and said "Infinite Art: Dead Star Suction Technique"
A small black hole appeared in front of his hand. The little black hole started to suck into wooden pagoda in front. In only a few minutes the entire pagoda had disappeared. All the onlookers looked with shock and disbelief on their faces.
"YYYYoung Master! What exactly was that?" exclaimed Jack, who was clearly very shook up about the whole scene.
"It was just a simple technique of my cultivation art." Stated Orval calmly.
"Burlesque, create grand pagoda" commanded Orval while looking at the little boy next to him.
Without hesitation Burlesque floated into the air. He raised both his hands and as he did, he began to glow even more than before. The earth then began to rumble all through the sect. What happened next astounded everyone present.
A 13 story Pagoda began to appear from the ground. As it rose dust and dirt flew around. After several minutes the dust settled. Standing tall was a magnificent Grand Pagoda. It was like a black glass palace, inside the black glass walls was gold glitter constantly moving, almost like the stars in the sky. Above the entrance a sign plaque with the words 'Infinite Legacy Pagoda' stood out. Not only did the sudden appears of the pagoda startle the onlookers so did the change in the area around it. The ground that was originally a stone base turned into a white and grey marble. In front of the entrance was a large golden square that could accommodate 25 people evenly spaced.
The little boy, Burlesque, looked at Orval as if looking for approval. With a nod of satisfaction from the young master, the little boy vanished. The black book then floated into the pagoda.
"Young Master Orval, what exactly just happened?" Asked all the onlookers.
"I just created the new central hub for our sect. This will allow us to better ourselves and also nurture any new disciples better. Next I will have everyone of you stand in the square, 25 at a time. You will understand why when we have completed this." Orval stated.
Everyone slowly followed the orders of the young master and lined up inside the square in turns. Next in front of each person who was standing there it showed all their information in regards to cultivation, talent, and potential. This astounded everyone as they began to learned new cultivation methods to help them reach their potential.
Orval was a little disappointed in the overall potential, as only a few had the ability to rise to even the Nascent Soul Realm. Although one girl stood out compared to the rest.

While Susie's current realm was very low that was to be expected, since she is only 8 years old. She had only just joined the sect about a year ago due to her village being destroyed by monsters. With this potential and the correct guidance she could very well become a pillar of the sect in the future. Knowing this Orval issued a command to everyone to go back home and to cultivate their new methods and when the Sect Leader and the others return more information will be given at that time.
Before Susie could walk away Orval stopped her. "Susie, no need to return to your current dormitory. From now on you will live with me as my disciple. I will make you into one of the strongest cultivators in the entire world."
As Susie looked at the seriousness in his eyes, she was a little hesitant since that was a huge leap in status and a lot of pressure for anyone let alone an 8 year old. But she agreed and followed Orval back to his manor.
As they got closer to the manor, which is located at the back of the sect near the seclusion caves, Susie could see a large wooden manor. As they walked closer suddenly, there was a feeling as if walking through a barrier. Susie looked around startled and then she notice that the once wooden manor was now a beautiful palace. It was made of emerald. Above the entrance it read 'Infinite Emerald Palace'. She thought it was a very fitting name.
"This will be your home in the future. For the time being you will stay here to cultivate, everything will be prepared for you including food, clothing, and more importantly cultivation materials. Should you need anything just say 'Burlesque' and he will assist you with any questions or commands you have. I will be cultivating in my room. Show her the way." Explained Orval.
Suddenly, the little boy from before appeared before Susie, which startled her.
"Please follow me Lady Susie" Burlesque said with a bow.
Embarrassed by the situation Susie said "No need to call me lady just Susie is fine since I am just an ordinary person."
"That will not due. You are my master and creator's disciple. Meaning you are the second most important person in this entire sect. I will only take orders from my master and you my little master." Explained Burlesque.
Susie could tell she was not going to win this argument so she just went along with it. They walked through the door. On the inside it was like walking into another world, there was a large plain with grass and flowers blooming every where as far as the eye can see. There was even a river, forest, and what she believed was mountains at the back.
"This is the grotto master made when he first created me. To traverse through it is easy if you know how. All you must do is think of the room you wish to get to. I will transfer all the knowledge regarding the layout of the palace to you now. Feel free to go anywhere you want, I have been instructed to let yo wander freely. Do beware there are beasts here but they will not harm you since they were created here and are apart of the ecosystem which you can now control." Burlesque explained. He then put his finger to Susie's forehead and transferred the necessary knowledge to her.
With a single thought she teleported to her room. It was a large room with its own courtyard and outdoor bath. She contemplated about going to find her master when she decided against it. After sitting down she started to cultivate her new method.
In another part of the Infinite Emerald Palace Orval was sitting in the center of a room with a large formation around him.
'This Infinite Qi Suction Formation is really good' he thought to himself. If this keeps up he can easily break through to Soul Creation Realm in a few days. He focused harder on his cultivating.
Unknown location in the universe
The hooded being was laughing loudly as he was throwing what looked like random colors of qi around. Every once in awhile he was say something like 'Yes, this is it' or 'This will be amazing'. If someone where to watch they would probably run away from such a creepy guy.
Emerald Gem Sect Seclusion Caves
Luke Emerald was making great progress on his new cultivation method. You could tell it was made for him. He could tell he was bound to break through to the Golden Core Realm in about a month.
June Emerald was cultivating diligently and could feel she was going to breakthrough again. While in seclusion she already broke through to Core Manifestation Realm and was only a couple months from the Golden Core Realm.
A week later.
Almost everyone in the sect experienced some form of breakthrough. Now the lowest disciple was Foundation Establishment Level 6. This was a good increase considering about 15 people were still in the mortal realm having not been able to step into the Foundation Establishment realm at all.
Most of the disciples and well as Guardian Jack tried to get into the new Pagoda but it would not open no matter what they tried. It seems they had to wait until the Young Master was back.
At the Infinite Emerald Palace Susie has already broken through to Qi Manifestation Realm. When she was not cultivating, she decided to check out the rest of the palace. She was read books in the library, play with beasts in the plains, and occasionally talk to Burlesque. She was really enjoying her life and couldn't wait till her master was out of seclusion to speak with him.
Orval's Golden Core was starting to break apart. Under normal circumstances a golden core would have already broken with the number of cracks that his has on it. But his core is anything but normal as he has been cultivating a very strong method. He decided it was time to use a different method to increase the speed of the break through.
