Chapter 4: 03. Composition contest

Kaito didn't know what sensations he had at that moment, after all it had been almost more than 30 years since the last time he went to elementary school it was more than 30 years ago so he didn't remember almost anyone from his school, in fact he didn't know if the people he was going to see in his classroom were the same as the ones in his past life.

After a while, they left their sisters at their high school and headed to drop him off at his elementary school and after leaving him there, his father was going to drop his mother off at her job and from there Kaito didn't know what his father was doing. . It is assumed that he had retired as a teacher when he was 3 years old but from then on he does not know what he was doing. It is assumed that for the achievements he made as a teacher, he receives a monthly pension, but he never knew anything about that.

When they arrived at his school, Kaito felt a wave of nostalgia. The facade of the school entrance is the same as he remembered it. He saw how the parents left their children to enter and the building, so he also got out of the car, said goodbye to his parents and entered the building. With the help of his ability "Remember me" he managed to get to his classroom but he didn't know if his desk was the same in this world so he did the first thing that came to his mind, pretend he wanted to go to the bathroom so he asked a classmate that if he could leave his backpack in its place while he ran to the bathroom and ran out. In the bathroom he planned to open the system again and spin the wheel of fortune to get his third ability but it turns out that there were many children there so he had to return to the classroom.

Upon reaching the classroom, he saw the boy who left his backpack with him. Now that he looked closely, it was his old classmate Neville Bennett, they didn't get along but they didn't get along badly either, they were just classmates, he thanked him for the favor and saw his backpack on his desk. This time he did notice a change since his desk was the second in the fourth row and in his previous life it was located in the fifth position in the sixth row.

To get an idea of how the classroom was organized, they are divided into 6 rows of 6 seats in each row for a total of 36 children. Some classrooms could have more or less but the average number of children per classroom was 36.

His first subject that day was Mathematics which for Kaito was a piece of cake, the same followed Geography and mother tongue, then a break and later it was basic literature.

When recess was over, the basic literature teacher arrived. In that class they were taught to appreciate literature and they watched children's literary classics. In this world, there were no classics such as Aesop's fables, the Grimm brothers' tales or the Arabian Nights, but rather stories that he had never heard before, and they were not as interesting as those of his previous world.

On this occasion they had already finished studying the classic stories with a moral and the teacher had commissioned them to create a story with a moral and today they were going to have a contest where the classmates were going to vote for their favorite.

There is no doubt that Kaito had it easy, with the help of his memories of his past life he thought about which one to choose, until he remembered one that he liked a lot and used it as an example of his past life so he quickly took out his notebook literature and began to write his favorite fable.

Each of his classmates passed by one by one until Kaito's turn came, he got up, picked up his notebook from his desk and began to tell his story.

The Honest Woodcutter

A very long time ago, a woodcutter who accidentally dropped his axe into a river and, because this was his only means of livelihood, sat down and wept. Taking pity on him, the forest fairy felt sorry for him and dived into the water and returned with a golden axe. "Was this what you had lost?", the forest fairy asked, but the woodcutter said it was not...

Yes, the fable thet he select and it was his favorite of Aesop's Fables, the Honest Woodcutter, and when and when the end of telling it, the step to say the moral: Honesty is the best policy to do.

After their turn passed, they finished passing their classmates and now they got to the best part, the voting. It is worth mentioning that Kaito was not even among the top 10, this was because children his age did not like being told that lying was bad, since many lied to their parents to get rid of punishment, however there were a person who loved the fable.

The class ended, classes continued and soon the school day and Kaito had to wait for them to come pick him up so he took the opportunity to get away inside.
