The unraveling puzzle Chapter 2

Asher's POV:

I am prepared but I still have some time left, so I decide to read the magazine to pass the time.

I read in the magazine that I was a cheater who cheated on Elena Davis. I am going to marry her because she has a baby of mine. This is heedless, but I don't care.

What is written about me so long as it isn't true? But I think she will care about this shit.

Then I called my best friend, Lucas.

He answered the call and spoke. "I am on my way. I will be there in 5 minutes. "

He asked me if I read the magazine.

I replied "yes "in a cold voice.

Then he declared that "Her life was going to be a mess", and then he ignored everything and said,

"But a few weeks ago,

When I asked you "when would you be committed?",

"You don't have time for this shit, you said coldly, and now you're going to marry."

A flashback (1 week back)

I told my secretary today I would cancel my appointments from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

I entered the house and found Mr. Oliver sitting on a sofa with Mrs. Olivia also sitting on the other side of the sofa with Adam sleeping in her lap.

I found everyone staring at me. I cleared my throat and said in a cold voice, "I will now take care of Adam."

Then a soft voice of Mrs. Olivia said, " yah you have to take care of Adam, but we have one condition."

I nodded my head and said, "Tell me whatever I will do."

Then Mr. Oliver said, "You have to get married first."

I was confused and suddenly asked, "Why?"

Mr. Oliver said "you are totally busy with your business. You don't even have time to come here, so how can you assure us that you will take care of him?"

I replied that "I would take care of him without marrying."

"How?

Personally, I know I will never give him the proper time. I need someone to give him proper care like a mother.

I still had a blank expression on my face and replied, "I will."

Mr. Oliver, in a cold voice, says, "We want you to be Adam's father. You said you wanted one year's time. Now this is a year. He will be 1 year old in 8 days. Before that, you have to adopt him and be a official father. Adam is very intelligent. If we wait any longer, he will understand that his parents have already died."

I think this is true; he is really so talented like his father and astute like his mother.

He started walking at 10 months, and now he is starting to say "mommy" and Mrs. Olivia is telling me that he says someone's in the mall.

So, so I nodded my head and replied, "I will think about this."

Mr. Oliver, "We don't have time for you to give me an answer before his 1st birthday. You have to get married before his birthday."

I am totally confused about what I should do. Because I am young to marry and have a child before I begin my career, I want my sister's company to be at the top of the world first.

Then suddenly, Adam walks up and starts staring here and there when he finds me. He is sitting in Mrs. Olivia's lap and suddenly running towards me. When he appeared to me, he just stared at me and said, "Daddy."

Then suddenly, he hugged me. That was an amazing feeling in the world. In my cold face, a smile appeared.

Ace said that, in joking language," Mr. Asher has a smile on his face. This is ridiculous."

Mrs. Olivia takes Adam to freshen up.

I replied that I would marry anyone for the happiness of my nephew.

Mr. Oliver said, "I trust you.you will be a good father."

I nodded my head.

Adam is with the nanny. Mrs. Olivia is coming and asking "what type of girl you will marry."

Ace replied that, "I want a sister-in-law who is just like him, a cold-hearted, loving kid, and unromantic." means just like an ice queen.

I still have a blank expression on my face.

Then Mrs. Olivia asks, "did you like someone?"

Suddenly, Ace replied that "my brother's reply was "I didn't have time for this shit". You have to find a girl for him.

Then I ignored Ace and replied, "No. Please find me a perfect girl for Adam."

She said she knows one girl who is just as cold-hearted as I am. Adam says the first word from his mouth to that girl was mommy.

Ace desperately asks who is just like my brother (me). There no way it is possible. It is a lie. It will not happen just like my no-no-no.

I am also confused about what she is saying. I agree with Ace.

Mrs. Olivia replied that "The girl was not interested in anyone and for the first time ever, she was talking to a kid in a soft tone to Adam". Her brother was telling me about that when Adam said, "Her mommy was barely talking to someone in a soft voice and for ten years, I never saw her like that talking in a soft tone. I was thinking that she didn't have emotions. But thanks to your grandson, I now know that she has emotions."

Without any hesitation, I said "I wanted to meet her".

Mrs. Olivia responded by dialling her brother's number.

Ace is looking at me with a confused look.

I am also blank. I am also confused. She already knew that I would definitely go to meet him.

What the fuck?

Mrs. Olivia called her brother but he didn't pick up the phone.

So desperately, Ace asked "what her name is. I'll find her on Instagram."

Mrs. Olivia replied, "Elena Davis. She is not on Instagram or any other social media. "

"What?" I asked, because in this day and age, everyone has social media, including children, but I am also an exception.

Ace asks "call again. I want to get to know this girl."
