Ether, the viscount's heiress, and Duke Clarence were having a quiet talk in the garden labyrinth. They were talking about a wide range of things, from the political climate in the kingdom to the stunning flora all around them.

From the opposite side of the city came an abrupt, deafening uproar. There was yelling and the clash of swords that they could hear. Ether and Duke Clarence instantly noticed that something was awry and decided to investigate.

As they ran through the city, they came across a gang of robbers who had made their way onto the palace grounds. The armed robbers were creating mayhem and destroying anything in their way. Security personnel was having a hard time keeping them at bay because they were outnumbered.
