Chapter 7: Beauty and the Beast

"D'you wanna come for a ride?" Drake asked.

"Where we goin?"

"I've gotta pop in to see my Dad, tell him I'm back; he's probably at the station. We can get food after?"

"Sure, why not?" He was hungry anyway.

The pair slipped into the car, driving off to the station.

They arrived and made their way to the reception desk. The officer looked up to see Drake's face, blushing slightly, after catching a glimpse of what was hiding behind his still unbuttoned shirt.

"H-hi , what c-can I do to help you?"

"I'm here to see Noah." Drake explained.

"Noah?" She asked, still flustered.

"The sheriff?"

"O-oh, right, yes, do you have an appointment? Is he expecting you?" She asked nervously.

"Nope, to both." Drake pulled his ID out, passing it to the officer, whose eyes widened.

"I'm here to see my Dad."

"Of course, follow me." Drake followed, shadowed by Derek.

They walked through the station, arriving near the sheriff's office when a commotion broke out. An officer was smacked to the floor with his own gun, said gun was then aimed at a certain sheriff, who was currently holding another prisoner; while three other armed men appeared out of nowhere, apparently there to help the men.

"Let him go, pig." Screamed the gun-wielding maniac.

The sheriff tried to talk the man down.

"Now don't do anything stupid, put the gun…"

"Do it now, sheriff, or you'll find a new hole in you." The gunman screamed in frustration. The three additional gunmen raised their guns at the sheriff.

Derek, who had been observing the situation, suddenly felt a massive surge of anger, his eyes gravitating toward Drake who was radiating the emotion.

The sheriff released his prisoner, failing to realize his son was there. The prisoners bolted toward the exit, having no idea who they were moving toward.

"Derek…" Drake's voice, was deep and dangerous.

"... deal with that one, I'll deal with the rest." Referring to the prisoner without the gun. Derek nodded, now was not the time to aggravate his little brother. He'd seen Drake like this once before when someone had hurt his little sister, Cora. The results were traumatic, to say the least. If the other person hadn't been of the werewolf variety, he doubted they'd still be alive.

A nod was exchanged between the pair as they intercepted the criminals.

Derek quickly pinning his target to the floor.

Drake, however, had not been as kind.

He made for the first man who was standing to his right. Planting his foot into the floor he burst toward the man, grabbing the man's face with enough force to break bone, throwing him toward the second, with the second criminal temporarily blinded and downed. Drake rushed for the third, planting his knee hard in his torso. Hard enough for cracking to be heard.

Third Gunman down, he rushed to the second gunman who was just getting himself up from under the thrown man, before he got the chance to stand Drake hit him cleanly in the face. Snapping his head backward and hitting the floor. When the scum who had threatened to put a hole in his father was in reach, Drake grabbed him by the throat and lifted him; his eyes fueled with anger. The longer he held the man the tighter his grip became. The man eventually dropped his gun, having no energy to keep hold of it. This all happened in mere seconds.

Despite the shock of what was happening the sheriff immediately recognized his son, but became worried as Drake spoke. Memories surfaced, reminding him of what had happened to the kids, who threatened Stiles when they were younger.

"You dare threaten my father!!"

Drake's hand constricted further around the man's throat. Every officer in the department was shocked, putting two and two together and realizing who the huge man was.

"MY FATHER!!!" Drake roared.

The Royal blood in Drake began to surge and Drake's Alpha began to bleed through, his eyes didn't change, but everyone felt the air in the room become heavy. No one noticed it more than Derek who was using every ounce of his willpower not to submit. Drake's voice became darker and more animalistic the more his anger grew.

"You don't deserve to breathe."

His hand tightened further. His eyes grew colder. The air grew frigid with Drake's power. Drake was about to snap the man's neck when a hand patted him on the shoulder. A deep calming voice spoke to him.

"That's enough, Son. I'm fine. Everyone is safe." Drake's head snapped to the Sheriff, his eyes softened for a moment, glancing around the room. Seeing the sheriff and the officers uninjured, somewhat calmed his ever-growing anger. His eyes snapped back to the scum he held in his hands. Bringing him up to eye level, Drake's bloodthirsty eyes bore into the man.

"Try this shit again, and I'll make you wish you were dead...." His eyes trailed to the other criminals pinned and sprawled across the floor...

"....ALL OF YOU." He growled.

Rather than just release the man, he walked over to the other prisoner; who Derek had already conveniently stood up. Grabbed him by the throat and threw the pair into a cell, soon followed by the rest. He slammed the cell door behind him, but not before giving them one last look, his bloodline surged and a very ancient aura broke free, The aura of a Dragon. Scaring the now prisoners witless. Fluid pooled on the floor around the prisoners and the smell of urine filled the room.

He took a breath, releasing the anger he still held.

The officers stared dumbstruck at what they'd just witnessed. The sheriff's Son, one, they had no idea about, had just manhandled four full-grown men like they were ragdolls. Not forgetting to mention that they had guns. They were impressed and thankful. Because of Drake and Derek's interference, they had thwarted any worse case scenarios, preventing any of the officers present from being injured.

The unique turn of events had caused all the officers present to take an immediate liking to Drake, much to his father's amusement.

"So pops, I thought I'd told you to be careful?" Drake said seriously. The sheriff scoffed.

"What do you expect? I'm the sheriff after all."

"Not funny pops, you could've been hurt." Drake wasn't amused.

"You nearly were." He continued.

"Well, luckily you were here along with your friend, who you still haven't introduced, by the way."

"Right, Derek, meet my Dad. Pops meet Derek Hale, an old friend of mine." Derek shook the sheriff's hand.

"It's nice to meet you again, Sheriff." The Sheriff gave a nod.

"How do you two know each other?" The sheriff became curious.

"I knew his mom, Talia." The sheriff's eyes widened.

"You did?" He asked, surprised.

"Yeah. When I used to play in the woods, she'd make sure I was okay. I'd sometimes play at her house with Derek and his sisters too." Drake smiled.

"So, that's where you always were. Well, at least I know you were safe now." He says chuckling.

"When did you get back?" He asked.

"A week or so ago."

"A week!? Where are you staying?" The sheriff almost demands.

"In that mansion near the house." Noah gawped.

"How are you staying there?"

"Well, I do own it." Drake stated.

The Sheriff just stood there staring. Derek mimicking him.

"DO I want to know?" The sheriff asked.

"Nahh, probably not." Drake shrugged.

"Fine. Have you seen Stiles yet?"

"Yeah, I ran into him earlier, when I was visiting friends. We're gonna have a catch up tomorrow, apparently, he's busy with Scott tonight." Drake shrugged again. The sheriff nodded.

"I'll come and visit you tomorrow at your 'mansion'. It's my day off, I'll bring Stiles."

"Sorted, but try not to be too surprised." He warned. The sheriff sighed.

"Well, I've got all this mess to deal with. You should head home, I'll see you tomorrow." Drake nodded and left with Derek.

He dropped Derek back at his house at Derek's request, after the pair had grabbed some food, and headed home to Ciri.

He arrived home a short while later, finding Ciri sprawled out on the bed.

"You had a fun night?" She asked, wrapping her arms around him.

"Hmm, I saw the Argents, my Dad, Stiles, Derek, Jackson, and Lydia and dealt with an idiot who tried to shoot pops. Rather than fun, let's go with productive." he said, snuggling into Ciri's hold.

"My Dad and brother are visiting tomorrow, try not to shock them too much." Ciri giggled.

"I'll try not to." She kissed Drake before the pair fell asleep.

-

The next day arrived.

-

Drake woke up feeling very comfortable, opening his eyes to see that he was spooning with Ciri. He kissed her neck and went to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Ciri came down not long after wearing nothing but one of Drake's massive shirts. Her ashen hair sitting perfectly in a picturesque fashion. She walked over to him, kissing him before they sat down to eat.

Having nothing planned for the rest of the day, until Stiles and the sheriff arrived. The pair decided to spar, they decided not to hold back after their first few sparring matches, well, Ciri had, knowing that Drake could take it and he'd grow stronger because of it.

They fought for hours, having breaks every now and then so that Drake could heal and before they knew it, it was nearly time for the Stilinski's to arrive.

The Stilinski's arrived at the gate. Both older and younger Stilinski were shocked at the sight of towering walls and a huge electric gate.

The sheriff pressed the ring button on the gate.

"Hello?" Drake answered.

"We're here."

"Oh, pops it's you, come right in." The gates opened. They drove right up to the house, Stiles gawking the entire way. Stiles got out of the car and walked right to Drake who was waiting for them.

"Dude, what the hell?" Drake just looked confused, while the sheriff slapped the back of Stiles's head.

"Language, Nice place." The sheriff said, looking around impressed.

"Thanks, pops. Come on in." Drake laughed.

They walked into the house, Stiles saw the Tv in the living room along with all the video games and began jumping around like a child at Christmas.

They settled down to chat when footsteps were heard coming down the stairs, accompanied by a voice of an angel, singing.

(Song: DJ Sammy- We're in Heaven (Slow Version)

-

Oh, thinkin' about all our younger years,

There was only you and me,

We were young and wild and free,

Now nothin' can take you away from me,

We've been down that road before

But that's over now,

You keep me comin' back for more.

Baby, you're all that I want

When you're lyin' here in my arms,

I'm findin' it hard to believe,

We're in heaven.

And love is all that I need,

And I found it there in your heart,

It isn't too hard to see,

We're in heaven.

-

The singing stopped as a tall ashen beauty emerged. The Stilinski's were frozen, taken aback by Ciri's fairy-like beauty. Her graceful, yet calming presence filled the room. She walked over to Drake, kissing him before leaning against his chest.

"Drake, who's this?" Noah asked, in awe of Ciri.

"I'm Ciri, Drake's fiance. A pleasure to meet you." She said softly. It was fair to say that both Stilinski's eyes nearly dropped out of their respective heads. Drake just sighed. What Ciri had said wasn't 100% true but it wasn't a lie either.

What the pair of Stilinksi's couldn't deny, however, was how well the pair went together. The dark hair and barbarianness of Drake, and the ashen hair and fairy-ness of Ciri.

A specific title came to mind.

Beauty and the Beast.
