Chapter 43: Finding That Women
A silence fell...
Alan didn't know how to react, this was his first time in this city and the mob around him had mixed reactions to his presence.
some were admiring the son of the duke, some were shivering in fear and the rest were people with neutral reactions but still gossiped among themselves.
Alan could hear what people were whispering among themselves.
"How is here? Wasn't he in a coma?"
"Woah! He is so handsome...."
Sigh
Alan sighed inwardly, he didn't want to be the centre of attention, he wasn't an attention seeker. Even in his previous life, he was a silent guy. Yes, he was never an attention seeker.

Well, he never got attention even if he tried. He was just an average student. It was fine when his parents were there to guide him but soon it all went downhill.
He went from an average guy to a sore loser.
"Alan"
Alan woke up from his stupor when he heard a women's voice.
"Yes Anna"
"What do you want to do with him?" Anna asked with her cold lifeless eyes as she pressed her sharp knife against the man's throat.

Alan walked towards the man and stood beside the woman he was threatening.
"Miss what do you wish to do with him?" Alan spoke as he stared into her green eyes.
'...He is so handsome...' She was lost in his crystal blue eyes.
"Miss"
She shook her head multiple times to get hold of her thoughts.
"..ahh i-ii" She started at the leader of the group with a weird smile and continued "I want to let him live... I am sure he wouldn't dare to harm me again."

Alan chuckled a little and said:
"I like you" well he didn't mean it in that way. He was not expecting the woman to let go of that huge pig after he treated her like that...
But, she was different. Alan liked her forgiving nature.
If it were his other women. His head would have been rolling on the ground right now.
Hannah, juna, and Ashley would never think. They just act.
Although Victoria was the wisest strategist among his women, she would have done the same if anyone dared to raise their swords against Alan or talked ill about him in front of her.
She will cut off her connection to her brain, and go to any lengths for Alan.
Alan himself was like an Aphrodisiac that women go crazy for him.
The women blushed crimson in embarrassment.
"Thank you" She bowed down and quickly ran out of the guildhall. She couldn't stand there any longer.
Alan glanced at Hannah and Juna whose faces were not pretty.
They screamed jealousy.
"..." Alan flashed a small smile as he thought they looked extra cute when they are jealous.
Anna let go of the man and quickly returned to Alan's side.
Alan tried to find the women who ran past the crowd but...
She was nowhere to be seen, she disappeared in split seconds.
"Tch" he missed an opportunity to talk to that woman. He wasn't into her of anything.
He just liked her forgiving nature, you don't find this kind of person everywhere.
"...sirrrr thank you for sparing my life" Alan frowned "This should never happen again."
Alan let go of the man and talked to the twins about their next destination...

"Greetings young lord" Alan heard a man's voice behind his head.
A lean tall man with brown-toned skin and blonde hair bowed in front of Alan.
'Who the hell is he?'
The man glanced to the side.
All the workers assembled in front of Alan...
"Greetings young lord," They said in harmony.
"...ahh please rise!"
"I am very happy to see young lord Alan healthy and kicking" the man spoke with a bright smile on his face.
Alan stared at the man with a confused face.
"Oh sorry, I am Michelle smeers. The manager of the Mechenarry guild."
"...Oh ok, nice to meet you" Alan didn't continue the conversation any further.
"Sir, would you like to get an adventurer license," Michelle asked.
Alan pondered for a while and spoke"I don't think I will need it"
To Alan's surprise, Michelle looked at Anna "Anna why don't you get a license, now that master Alan is in good health you could use your vacation time to have some fun."
He had a sly smile on his face as if he was plotting something.
"..i-ii"
Anna stuttered as she couldn't give any reply.
Michelle continued "it would be nice to have you around and..." A smile grew on his face "...you haven't gone on a date with me yet."
Anna's eyes widened, she has already rejected him many times. But now this man has brought the topic in front of Alan.
Alan turned away and spoke in a domineering tone before leaving "you guys carry on..." He walked out of the hall accompanied by the twins.
Alan didn't say a word to Anna or ask her to accompany him. He just left...
But everyone there could notice the irritated expression on his face.
When he was out on the streets, Hannah asked "why are you angry?"
"I am not angry" He had the same irritated face.
"..."
Neither Hannah nor Juna replied. They could see that he was angry and didn't want to ask any further questions.
To lighten the mood Juna hugged Alans back and kissed his cheeks.
She loved his annoyed face too.
"You are soo cool Alan" She kept hugging Alan.
Alan flashed a smile and asked, "Where shall we go next?"
He didn't want to spoil the date because of his foul mood, but he didn't know why he was angry either.
'Was it because he asked Anna out...' Alan thought to himself.
"Alan come let's check out that store" Hannah pulled Alan as she pointed towards a clothing store.

Anna frowned at the man in front of her.
"Why are you angry Anna," Michelle asked with a pleasant smile on his face.
'This guy!!'
"How many times do I have to reject you?" Anna continued as she muttered under her breath "just when everything was starting to look good." She was just getting closer to Alan, and now the guy spoiled everything.
It was very clear that Alan was angry when Michelle asked her out in front of Alan.
Michelle flashed a sly smile "Do you like someone?"
"Ahh..No" Anna replied in a Non-chanting tone.
"So why not go out with me?" Michelle suggested.
The aura around Anna darkened, he eyes gleamed red "I do what I want and don't interfere in my personal life" Her eyes gleamed brighter "And this is your last warning."
Anna rushed out to find Alan.
"Heh, let me see how long you can keep hiding" His smile grew wider "I wonder what will be his reaction when he knows the truth about her... Haha, I can't wait."

In Carter's mansion.
"The demons are moving faster than expected" William spoke after reading the letter in his hand.
"How so, we have been keeping the security tight right," Catherine said as she took a sip of the tea.
"Someone is helping them" William sat next to his wife and took a sip of the tea she poured for him.
"Traitors huh!" Catherine was not very surprised, humans were greedy bitches after all.
"According to the information, someone from the capital is helping them" William continued "if it was true, they must be having spies in all duchies as well."
"Shall I ask my parents if there are any problems over there?"
Catherine questioned with a serious face.
"That won't be necessary. They would dare to invade that place. They are not courageous enough to risk their lives just to enter that place." William said as he chuckled after pondering for a while.
The carter family has been quietly watching the demon's movements throughout the country. They have been gathering every information they could get.
"Honey... don't you think it's time to tell Alan about his grandparents?" Catherine asked with a concerned face.
she was worried Alan would hate them for not revealing the truth about his grandparents.
After all, They haven't told Alan about his true identity yet.
"Even if he acts like he doesn't care, he still needs his grandparent's love and affection." Catherine felt guilty for hiding this from her son. They had their reasons to do so.
"Hmm... The truth will reveal itself when the time is right." William said as he took another sip of the tea.

It was already noon by the time the girls finished their
shopping.
Whew.
women burn away time when you take them shopping.
It does matter which country, state or race.
It was an undeniable truth, isn't it?
Alan was tired of helping the girls choose dresses, it would have been fine if it was just for themselves.
To Alan's surprise, Hannah and Juna decided to shop for Victoria, Ashley, Catherine and Mia too.
They had asked Catherine for victorias and Ashley's sizes beforehand.
Hannah bear-hugged Alan and said with baby eyes "Alan can we go have lunch... I am hungry."
"Yes, me too" Juan supported the idea.
'Well, shopping was very tiring...!' Alan nodded as he thought to himself.
"A-Alan... Pant...pant" Anna spoke as she tried to catch her breath.
Alan just peeked at Anna and said with a straight face "we are going to the best restaurant in the town."
Alan didn't show any expression on his face, which made Anna sad.
She never told Alan about her commitments outside the Carter house. Her only duty was to take care of Alan.
He wants Anna to have her own time but... The way William smiled at Anna was somehow different.
His feelings and his thoughts were conflicted.
Anna said after she heard the girls request "Please...F-follow me"
Alan followed Anna since she 'knew' the town very well.
After a five minute walk.
They have reached the location, they stood in front of a pretty big restaurant. Which was beyond Alan's expectations.
He never knew The Razor city had such a big restaurant.
It was pretty crowded, Alan went inside the hotel. He was directly taken to the VIP room after Anna talked with the receptionist.
He was seated in a well-cushioned chair, it was pretty comfortable, and he didn't want to lie about it.
Before he took the seat, he did help his girls take a seat first.
Alan was a gentleman after all.
The girls ordered the starters, main course and the dessert.
Anna sat beside the girls as Hannah requested her to.
While the group were waiting for their lunch to be served.
Hannah started a conversation "Alan... Thank you for the date we loved it"
Juna nodded with a pleasant smile on her face.
"What about you Alan?" Juna asked with a concerned face, she knew they spent a lot of time shopping than with Alan.
Alan took Juna's and Hannah's hands, he locked fingers with them and spoke with a satisfied smile "what else could give me joy than making you guys happy. I loved every bit of the date. I wouldn't change anything."
"Haaannn... Alannnn" The girls spoke on harmony.
Alan was a sweet talker, he knew how to have his way with women.
"Ah, Anna, you didn't have to follow us..." Juna continued as a smirk appeared on her face "...you could have gone on your date, that man seemed to like you very much. "
Anna didn't know how to reply. She glanced at Alan only to find a cold expressionless stare on his face.
'I have annoyed him, how am I going to fix this now' Anna could easily decode what Alan's stare meant.
It screamed 'I DONT CARE ANYMORE'.
"...no I don't like him. He keeps pestering me." Anna complained with a serious face "I have rejected him but he keeps coming back"
"Why don't you give him a chance, you may like him," Hannah suggested.
"NO..."
Anna denied it immediately.
"Hmmm..." A weird smile grew on Junas's face as she asked "...do you have someone that you like?"
Anna's face clogged red with embarrassment, her head could erupt at any moment.
Alan just kept staring at Anna with a neutral face.
Anna glanced in Alan's direction for a sec and...
Nod
"Oh, who is it?" Hannah questioned with a curious face.
We all love to gossip when it comes to matters regarding love and breakups.
'I knew it' Juna screamed inwardly. It was pretty obvious from the way she looked at Alan.
There is a saying 'Only Women understand Women'
"Sister you are so dumb" Juna commented.
"Huh? Why are you calling me dumb?" Hannah asked as she stomped on the ground?
But before Juna could continue a women's voice interrupted their conversation.
"Hello, welcome to th-" A beautiful woman entered the Vip room in a suit and a badge pinned on her chest which read manager.
"We meet again," Alan said while a surprised look on his face soon grew into a pleasant smile.
