Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The Prince Goes Berserk! A Super Saiyan God?!
Previously on Dragon Ball Super (A Rewrite):
"You are strong Saiyan...that much is certain. Son Goku, I believe is the name. I'll remember it well. But you are not a Super Saiyan God." Beerus stated, vanishing and reappearing in front of Goku, as he quickly delivered three elbow attacks into Goku's side hitting specific pressure points in quick repetition so that not even Goku could keep up. Goku's Super Saiyan 3 transformation quickly faded, as he fell into the ground causing a huge crater as he was left with bare consciousness and heavily wounded. Goku had took far too much damage and his Super Saiyan 3 state did nothing to help him.
"Well, I'll be taking my leave now. Maybe the Saiyans on Earth are the Super Saiyan Gods I've been looking for. Farewell, Kai. Saiyan." Beerus landed on the ground and walked next to Whis. "Let's go, Whis." With that, a bright light consumed Beerus and Whis, as they flew off the Planet with the light fading.
"You're one big idiot Goku." King Kai walked next to him and took a Senzu Bean from his pocket, feeding it to him. Goku slowly stood up, feeling his power soar higher than before, but not by much.
"Even if me and Vegeta fused again...I don't think that power would help...he's strong. Too strong. The strongest I've ever faced. Hehe...they said they were going to Earth right? Well...Bulma's party is soon. If they cause trouble...there's no way to stop them." Goku grunted, as he began to think.
Now on Dragon Ball Super (A Rewrite):
Back on Planet Earth
Bulma and the others were on a boat partying and having a good time, when suddenly Beerus and Whis arrived. The partying continued as it was a misread situation, with dancing, bingo, and even the singing of happy birthday. All of that, until an incident with a common Earth food known as Pudding. Yes, a simple delicacy that resulted in a battle on Earth against the mightiest of heroes and Beerus.
"Goten, Trunks, let's go!" Gohan stated, quickly powering up into his Ultimate state as he flew forward, Goten and Trunks doing the Fusion Dance into an Adult Gotenks as he powered up into Super Saiyan 2, flying forward as the duo quickly began to barrage Beerus with Punches and Kicks.
As the attacking begun, Beerus quickly defended against them with modest struggle, Gotenks and Ultimate Gohan proving to be quite the duo and match against him. After their barrage of attacks were quickly blocked by Beerus, he delivered 2 kicks to send them back, followed by the vanishing and reappearing of elbowing the duo in the gut before knocking them into the ground with a fist to the face each. "Neither of you are Super Saiyan Gods either. If only you gave me the pudding when I asked. You wouldn't be in this mess. But both of you are a lot stronger than that Goku fella. So I'll give you praise for being good appetizers. Now, begone!" Beerus extended his hand outward, unleashing a shockwave that quickly sent the duo into the sky.
Gotenks and Gohan caught themselves, as Gohan turned to Gotenks. "Do it now! Why are you holding back?!" Gohan shouted as he quickly unleashed a ki barrage onto Beerus as Gotenks transformed into a Super Saiyan 3. The transformation itself rocked the area as the boat began to move and waves began to form and kept hitting the boat.
Despite the amazing power of a Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks who appeared in front of Beerus following the ki barrage to deliver 3 punches, it all proved fruitless. Gotenks and Gohan quickly displayed powerful combination attacks and a Twin Kamehameha where they both fired it at opposite ends, and even through the display of several potent abilities, nothing proved to rock Beerus. Vegeta grunted, as Beerus quickly appeared behind Gotenks, kicking him into the ground as he then chopped Gohan's back, sending him crashing into it as well, paralyzed. "Now to take out the trash." Beerus stated, appearing in front of Gotenks once more, delivering a punch to his face that completely broke the fusion, as he smirked, gutting both Trunks and Goten, causing them to collapse to the ground in their base forms.
"Ng...even Gotenks wasn't a match!" Piccolo stated, preparing to attack when Vegeta stopped him.
"Don't Piccolo! He's too strong! Gotenks is even stronger than me and he was de- B-BULMA!" Vegeta shouted.
Bulma walked in front of Beerus, and delivered a slap to his face. "You jack-assed bastard! How dare you come to MY BIRTHDAY PARTY AND RUIN IT?!" Bulma shouted. Beerus looked at the woman for a moment, and with a backhanded slap to send her to the ground grunted. "Don't touch me woman." Beerus stated.
Vegeta...went pale. "Y...You.." Lightning began to strike the ground as Vegeta clenched his fists his hair instantly turning a golden yellow. "You bastard..." Vegeta continued, as the lightning got faster and his hair began to elongan. Piccolo watched on in shock.
"When did he learn-?!" Piccolo started, only to be blown back by the wind pressure.
Beerus turned quickly to Vegeta who was emitting energy levels that were temporarily stronger than Super Saiyan 3 Goku. "W-What?! You can turn Super Saiyan-" Beerus was interrupted by the explosion of ki from Vegeta as the latter dashed forward to deliver a quick punch to Beerus and send him flying off the boat. "Nng...! That was go-" Beerus started, only to be knocked down towards the water.
"YOU DARE ASSAULT MY BULMA!!!!!!!!!??????" Vegeta shouted, his hair to the waste as he was also...a Super Saiyan 3! He quickly began delivering quick punches and kicks to Beerus's body, before punching him in the face and sending him flying through the water as he quickly followed and kicked Beerus into the sky. He quickly flew above him, punching him backwards as he charged and fired a galick gun at Beerus. After that, he extended his arms to the sides and cupped them forward. "YOU HAD A TASTE OF MY GALICK GUN... NOW MEET MY SUPER FINAL FLASH!!!!" Vegeta unleashed a very powerful Final Flash attack at Beerus, engulfing the Destroyer cat as Vegeta huffed, returning to his Super Saiyan 2 form. He didn't like using 3 because it consumed too much ki and stamina but in a fit of rage he did it.
"I'll admit Prince Vegeta, that was rather an impressive display of your power." Beerus smirked, wiping off a bit of blood from his lip as he continued, hovering in the air as he looked down on Vegeta. "But alas, no one here is a Super Saiyan God. So I think I'll destroy this pitiful planet now for it being a waste of my time." Beerus grunted, charging up a large energy sphere at the tip of his pointer finger. "Say goodbye, Earthling-!" Beerus started, quickly being interrupted.
"WAIT!" Someone shouted, hovering in the air as they made their descent on the boat, smiling. "Lord Beerus! I think I know how to get your Super Saiyan God!" The person who had made the descent was none other than Goku.
"Son!" Piccolo stated, along with many others.
"Goku!" Chichi stated, along with Master Roshi, Krillin., Yamcha and Bulma, as well as many others.
"Dad!" Gohan and Goten stated, smiling.
"...Kakarot...!" Vegeta chuckled, turning as he looked over at him.
"Ah... if it isn't the saiyan from North Kaioshin's world. You said you know how to get my Super Saiyan God?" Beerus made his descent to the boat, as he continued. "Well, do it. And I'd do it quickly if I were you."
Goku nodded, as he turned to Bulma. "Bulma, do you mind if I use the Dragon Balls?"
"Anything you need Goku to send this stupid party pooping jerk back to where he came from!" She walked away, and after a minute she came back with the dragon balls and placed them down.
"Eternal Dragon, by your name, I summon you forth: Shenron!" Goku stated, as the Dragon Balls began to glow and the sky darkening. Shortly afterward, a blast of yellow light shot through the air and within seconds it formed the mighty wish granting dragon known as Shenron.
"I shall grant thee any wish. Now speak!" Shenron stated.
"Um...do you know what a Super Saiyan God is Shenron?" Goku asked.
"Yes." Shenron stated.
"Great! Can you bring one here then?" Goku asked.
"No, for one does not exist." Shenron stated, continuing. "The Super Saiyan God is a deity that can only be brought forth by Saiyans temporarily." Shenron spoke.
"Huh? What do you mean by that Shenron?" Goku asked.
"All these questions with no wishes. What is your wish?" Shenron stated.
"Beerus says to produce a Super Saiyan God." Goku stated, turning to Beerus.
"!! B-Beerus?!" Shenron got flustered, turning to face the Destroyer God. "I-It's a pleasure to meet you lord beerus!"
"Yes Yes, just tell them how to form this Super Saiyan God already." Beerus stated, flicking his hand forward as he faced them.
"Right! This is a long tale, so bare with me. This is how the Super Saiyan God first came into play and also it's entire story. It should clear up any misconceptions and be quite the insightful tale." Shenron began to start his story, this going back to a time far, far, far long ago.
