Chapter 3: Episode Three: A Show of Strength
Cell is inside of, what appears to be a room as he opens his eyes and his eyes adjusts quickly to the lighting of the room.
"Ugh, what the hell?!" Cell mumbles as he wakes up and gets up.
'That was a dirty trick! Gohan could not possibly be here, I didnt sense his Ki before. Tch! I let my guard down and got affected by a mere illusion.' Cell thinks to himself.
'But who could possibly have done that? What type of ability is it?' Cell thought more.
'No matter, I'll just have to kill whoever did that. That ability is a potential threat and could be cumbersome to feal with. now where am I?' Cell ponders for a bit before examining his surroundings. "This appears to be a containment facility of sorts, is this a cell?" he mumbled.
Cell notices that his Ki is being drained in this room, he still has Ki left but nowhere near full. He tries to sense people nearby...
The denizens of earth are further below, and ways away from him. This leads to one logical conclusion, he seems to be in space?
He punches the walls only to find out that the materials used in this Cell is highly rssistant to physical attacks. He punches and Kicks some more for 30 minutes to test out its durability, it left dents, scrathes and some fist sized holes but it ultimately failed to yield long time results.
Just as when Cell was planning to shoot a Special Beam Cannon on the wall to escape, footsteps could be heard in the distance.
"You're awake!" exclaimed Superman.
Cell glares at him.
"Well, well if it isnt Superman, hows your body? need another massage using my fists?" taunts Cell.
"Look, we just want to ask you...Who are you and where did you come from?" asked the Hero.
"Or what? I didn't know that the so called Justice League acted like a bunch of Mafias, you stalk me, and kidnapped me just because I was defending myself." Cell stated.
The members then turned to Batman, who gave him a questioning yet deadpan stare,
"I recieved a report about an alien terrorizing the streets. I was investigating, he noticed me and beat me after a confrontation." Defended Batman.
"I was at the city hall to get registered for citizenship! I defended myself against a stalker and got ganged up by 5 people, what do you expect me to do?!" Cell asked condescendingly,
Cell gets into fighting stance putting his arm beside his hip and his other arm in fromt of him like how a Kung Fu Master would.
"Now, I believe I overstayed my welcome in this cell." Cell said.
Batman reacted to this quickly and presses a button, suddenly Cells drain on his Ki is stronger. Cell notices this and Uses Instant Transmission outside to get away from the room.
Cell looks at the Space Station, he is in awe but stops looking at the Technology present before him as Superman, at breakneck speed rushes toward him.
Cell uses what little power he had left and powers up, he uses Tri Beam (Shin Kikohou) the technique he saw Tien Shinhan used, to push Superman back dealing a bit of damage in the process.
He also uses Perfect Barrier, this ability allows him to create a shield to protect himself and stun nearby enemies who come in contact with the purple electro magnetic barrier, This barrier was used against Goku when Cell was actively defending whilst attacking against Goku in the Cell games.
While doing so he charges a kamehameha to obliterate the station.
"Our meeting was short, but I can't say I enjoyed it. Farewell "heroes" of earth"! Cell mocked.
Ka-Me-Ha-Me-
The Space Station Detects a sudden influx of energy and sounds an alarm to warn all present League Members in the space station.
Cell Jr, Wakes up and notices this from his cell so he uses instant transmission himself to where his father is and to regroup with him.
"Junior! kill anyone who manages to get pass the barrier!"
Cell Junior nods in confirmation.
"W-WAIT!" exclamied Wonderwoman, "Let's talk, we can reason this out!"
Cell doesnt care if he kills them all but he sees an entire battalion of Super Heroes in front of him, he could kill them easily, but he is low on energy, and with this he would be drained of Ki and would be unable to fight back for quite sometime.
Cell's thoughts then focus back on the time where he bit of more than he could chew against Gohan. If he runs out of energy he will be left defenseless, a vulnerability his enemies would exploit and Cell understood that.
"Speak Woman!"
"We made a mistake, we apologize for attacking you!" Wonderwoman said sincerely with a loud voice.
"Its the truth, since we saw humans run away from you we thought you were a villain. These things are quite common around here, so we assumed as such." said Superman.
Cell disperses his Kamehameha but doesn't power down and keeps the Perfect Barrier up.
"So you idiots, attacked me for no reason other than a mistake?! you imbeciles! Try it again and I wouldn't hesitate murder all of you. Cell exclaimed as he calmed down.
"And after all that you illegally detained me. Now how are you going to make it up to me? If you guys dont, then I'll just blow up the earth, no. the entire SOLAR SYSTEM!" bragged Cell.
"W-well, to comlensate for the mistake. W-we, want you to be a member of the Justice League!" Superman claimed, as he said this the other members were flabbergasted.
"What the hell Clark?!" cursed Green Lantern.
"Well, since he hasn't done anything wrong yet, and he is strong. He could defenitely help the Justice League." explained Superman.
Ths voting of the founding members them began.
"All in favor? 4 to 2 founding members have voted, that means he is accapted in to the league." announced Superman.
Cell smirks, 'Things are getting interesting, I can infiltrate them, gather more information about this world, and their members, this is a pleasing outcome.' Cell thought.
"Do I get paid?" Cell inquired.
Superman then looked at Batman, who nodded in agreement.
"Hahahahaha! very well, However let me be clear. I take orders from nobody, just give me missions and I do it my way." Cell demanded.
"As long as you follow the rules and the law, it is acceptable." answered Superman.
"Excellent." replied the Bio Android.
"As for your kid, well he can join the Young Justice, I guess" said Wonderwoman.
"What's Young Justice? Am I right in assumimg that it is some sort of branch organizatiom to the original Justice League?" inquired Cell.
"Yes, that is correct" answered the Manhunter "It is where we train our Proteges and successors".
"I see, very well then, I'll allow it." Cell said with a smirk.
"Let's head inside and we can discuss this further" said the Martian.

Cell's footsteps could be heard throughout the corridor making the infamous Cell footstep noise, he is followed by his offspring who is sitting on his shoulder. They make their way to a meeting room with the Justice League founding members.
"So, As you may have heard the Justice League protects Earth, and defeats Evil Super Villains and handles Global Threats." Manhunter explains.
"Yes, I was aware of that, you think I'm stupid? Just tell me how much I get paid and how do I go about this job of mine."
The League Members were starting to get a bit annoyed at Cell's tone of speaking, but decided to not speak against it in favor of not antagonizing him. He is after all, not doing anything wrong.
"Well, you get access to membership benefits such as information, and healthcare, and free food and possible lodging. You also get access to training rooms and of course, an annual salary.
Not only that but you have access to materials and equipment provided by the league as well as additional armaments. As for the procedure of the job, you get a call from HQ, they tell you where you are to be deployed, what is the enemy's identity and abilities, the situation, and the objective and tell you the location of the threat." Manhunter explains further.
Cell grins while listening, "Is the Young Justice, who my son will be entering, operates the same way as the Justice League?"
"Correct but on a lesser scale" answered Batman.
"Then were do we sign? surely you have a contract, or is this just an informal agreement? Don't expect me to do work for you without assurance.
Although if you guys trick me or stab me in the back, I can just eliminate you lot, including the planet if I must." Cell brags followed by his signature evil look and stares at the other members.
"Do not worry, we have integrity and honor. We wouldn't do that. The League works for the Government and the United Nations, so there will be a contract." replied Green Lantern.
"Then, meeting ajourned. I will escort you to your quarters" Superman said to Cell.
As Cell and Cell jr. leave with Superman, Manhunter speaks with Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Batman
"The only reason why I was able to penetrate his mind and attack him mentally was because he let his guard down, combined with the element of surprise. His mental resistance and intelligence is incredibly high. Had I not been succesful to restrain him for a bit, he would have beaten all of us. To put it simply, he is imcredibly strong Bruce, If he is a threat, he would be hard to deal with."
"We need to be more careful in dealing with him, do not antagonize him, but do not be afraid of a conforontation. Especially if he steps out of line or does anything questionable. We need to keep a close eye on him." Batman stated,
"Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer huh? so thats the plan." Flash replies.
"He does not seem to be malicious from what I can tell, although he is not exactly a good guy from what little I had observed from him. That said, he is definetly planning something." Manhunter said,
"We keep a watchful eye for now and take action if necessary." Womder Woman said.
Little did they know Cell heard all this with his Super Hearing inherited from Piccolo. He slyly smirks whilst walking. Cell Jr sees his father's expression, he couldn't help but chuckle happily and float, sitting at Cells's shoulder as he walks.

2 days have passed since Cell's entry into the Justice League, Cell and Cell Jr. was at the Justice League Library gathering information in this new world and its intricasies. Cell found out that the way the world works was quite similar to his, the planet he was in was also called Earth, Earth was in the Milky Way galaxy whereas his old Earth was located in what was called the North Galaxy.
'Hmm...interesting information, joining the Justice League was a smart decision.' Cell thought. 'This world... it's so similar to my old one and yet, it-it's so different! various races beyond this galaxy, people with peculiar abilities, it makes it excites me! I can't wait to fight them! I wonder how strong they would be.' Cell thought.
Cell studied some of the data from the compiter in the watchtower as well, mlre specifically, data about the founding and prominent members of the Justice League.
'Superman is a Kryptonian, whose race is a bit similar to Saiyans. Although it is a but pathetic how their entire race is scared of green rocks. And they gain power from the sun...if I am to fight him in a life or death situation, I would have to destroy the sun first.
Then there is that green martian creature. So he is the one who made those illusions...they are a highly intelligent form of species and possess great power physically and especially mentally. Martian Manhunter would pose a great threat to me should push comes to shove.
And then there is the Amazonian princess, Diana. Nothing to special about them except her skills and instict in combat, and her demi-godhood. If I were to gauge her current strength, she would probably be as strong as the saiyan who came to earth with Vegeta. Nappa was it? Either way, her equipment would be whay I should be careful of...especially that magic lasso of hers.
The Green Lanterns would be more or less easy to deal with as long as I keep my guard up and fight smartly. The same can be said about the Thanagarians and the rest of the League.
What intrigues me the most is that red android, Red Tornado. To be able to beat my spawn, he is one of the few who possess a serious threat to me within the league.
"Alright Junior, return all those books that's enough of studying and let's switch to body training." Cell said as he gestured towards the many many, many stacks of books on the library table.
"You inherited my techniques and 80 percent of my strength, it would do good for the both of us to spar and train. Especially when we are under surveillance from the others."
Cell Jr. nods and floats behind his father as they exit the library. Captain Atom is seen walking throught the hallway.
"You, over there, the walking dime. Do you know where the training room is?" Cell asked the silver skinned hero.
Captain Atom gives a glare and a narrow look before he answers.
"Rude way to ask, Cockroach man. It's on the lowest floor to the left side sector."
Cell and Cell Jr. head to the training room.

Cell and Cell Jr. stand in front of each other although far away.
Cell gets into his infamous fighting stance to when he first fought Trunks and Vegeta in his Perfect Form. He puts two of his hands in front but across from each other. Cell Jr, goes into his own stance of putting both fists in each side of his hips.
"COME JUNIOR!"
"HEHEHE Here I come Daddy!" Cell junior laughs and grunts as he rushes towards Cell.
Cell blocks Juniors fist, Junior kicks him but he grabs Jr's foot and lifts him up to punch him in the stomach similar to what Piccolo did in the Cell Games to Cell Jr.
Junior gets back up and fires multiple Ki blasts to which Cell blocks by hitting and slapping them with his arms deflecting them around. Then with an opening, Cell Junior uses Solar Flare and then follows up with a Destructo Disk. Cell is cut in half.
"Argh! nice one Junior, but not good enough..." Cell said as he regenerates his lower limb and torso.
Cell and Cell Jr. Rush at each other trading Blows, *BAM* *SMASH* *POW* but it is clear that Cell has the overall advantage of reach, power, stamina and durability, after all Cell Jr. is his offspring and a slightly weaker copy.
Cell Jr. Punches Cell's jaw and follows up with a frontal kick sending Cell back. He then teleports to his back and gives a powerful side punch to Cell leaving him immobilized but he recovers fairly quickly.
"You hit hard kid. Alright, my turn!" Cell powers up and Cell Junior although afraid powers up too.
The entire room is left with reflecting yellow auras emmited from the two Bio Androids.

Back at HQ they are alerted that 2 figures exert huge amounts of energy.
"W-what the?!" The Flash exclaimed.
"I know this power, it's Cell!" Superman Claimed.
"They're at the Training room! lets go!" Martian Manhunter said.

The two creatures power up further to their strongest form with Cell using his Super Saiyan 2 and Cell Jr. with his weaker version of Super Saiyan 2.
They continue to spar, with Cell grabbing Junior's left arm and cutting it with a chop then kicks him away. Junior regenerates his arm then proceeds to charge a Masenko beam similar to the one used by Tien, Krillin, Piccolo and Yamcha against Cell in the beam struggle against Gohan albeit Junior's was a lot stronger than theirs.
Cell charges a powered death beam similar to the one he used to kill Future Trunks with. The yellow and violet beams clash violently destroying the Training Room and exposing the room to the vacuum of space .The training room couldn't bear their enormous power because they were both in Super Saiyan 2, hell Super Saiyan 1 was enough to wreck the place.
At first it was even but Cell although taking it less seriously, did get a challenge from his son but decided to end the training session.
"You think you can handle this?!" Cell said as he powers his death beam to Full Power thus overwhelming Junior.
The league sees this overwhelming show of power but only Superman, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) and Martian Manhunter were able to enter the room because they could survive the vacuum of space. "The kid is gonna get killed!" grunts Green Lantern.
They tried to stop the beam clash and save Cell Jr. but it was too late, Junior was overwhelmed and lost. With his lower leg left and a little floating purple blood remaining, floating in the non existent gravity field of space.
"Wh-WHAT THE HELL?! YOU JUST MURDERED YOUR OWN CHILD!" Green Lantern angrily and worriedly exclamied.
The other members were quite shocked by this.
"How could you do this to your own flesh and blood!" Superman exclaimed angrily.
"Ha?! what nonesense are you babbling on about?! take a look." Cell said as he points to Junior's mutilated body.
Cell Jr. Regenerates and powers up seeming to want to continue fighting and recieving a small zenkai from the training, albeit not enough to catch up to his Father's level but still provides an increase.
"That's enough Junior, lets end it here."
"What? why?"
"Because I said so, now power down. Your making the other's uncomfortable with that bloodlust of yours."
"Yes daddy." Cell Jr. said with a dissapointed look.
"B-but your child he-" Green Lantern stuttered.
"Oh, did I forget to mention we have regeneration? my bad, guess I forgot." Cell said in a condescending and provocative tone.
Superman glares at him.
"Anyway whe need to fix the training room, you should not have broken it Cell." Martian Manhunter says.
"Well, its not my fault that this pathetic room couldn't handle me and my son's magnificent power!" Cell brags.
Martian Manhunter decides to let it go since he has a bit of a point.
"Well, a training room that couldn't handle a bouts of power would be faulty, it might even cause accidents." stated the Martian.
"Well we could use an upgrade and a renovation." Green Lantern comments.
"You should consider puting a gravity multiplier option to further out training." Cell said.
"Yeah, sure then break it again bugboy." Green Lantern said.
"Oh? funny, this human thinks he's people. What're you going to do about it? huh, Lamp boy!" Cell said, mocking him.
"Thats enough, all of you! lets go inside and cool off. Cell, tomorrow you get a mission." Superman asserted.
"Ah! finally! I was getting bored." Cell said.

Cell and Cell Jr. head back. As they walk through, they see other heroes glaring at them either sizing them up or observing them. Cell Jr. glares at them back giggling whilst powering up a bit, causing the station to tremble a bit.
"Don't Junior, this people aren't even worth your time they are just trash, even Yamcha is probably better than these people." Cell said in a condescending tone. Cell scans the room only to be met with more stares.
Cell frowns at this, but decides to do nothing after all he is a perfect being there is no need to mingle with this lower life forms. But if they try to fight him. He wouldnt hesitate to end their lives.
Cell and Cell Jr. then decide to go to back to their rooms to rest, although they dont need to, it helps them pass the time. Cell meditates while Cell Jr. roams the Justice League watchtower.
