Chapter 19: Villain's way
"What the hell are you doing here?"
When the cloth was removed from the boy's mouth, his face came to the fore, and seeing that face, Roy's senses flew away. Roy had no idea that the boy would be the one whose family member's dead body was burnt by Roy.
Beneath Roy's feet was the boy name Garrett, whose grandmother had been killed by Kiamia disease, and he was the one who was repeatedly begging Daniel to bring his grandmother back to life, near the Turner Territory mansion.
The boy Garrett was waving his body here and there on the ground to free himself from Roy, and Roy has paused for a moment after seeing Garrett.

I do not know whether the reason for this attack on me is my treatment of him or it is the reason that I burnt the body of his family member without being conscious.

And Roy started to look at Garrett.
'Did I kill his grandmother? She had already lost her life, and even if I didn't burn her body, someone would have to burn her, she was dead and this is the truth.'
Roy was not saying anything while holding his hand. He could not understand what to say in this situation.
Roy did not correct Garrett's point that his grandmother was already dead, Roy had no hand in killing her, but Roy understood the emotion of that boy even after being in this situation.
And seeing the emotion of that boy, Roy was just asking him to leave from there.
"You are no match for me. You cannot kill me even if you want, I am giving you one last chance, go away. I will forgive you."
After Roy grabbed Garrett's hand when Roy spoke, Garrett got angrier; he made his other hand punch and started hitting Roy's face.
"My grandma could have come back to life if you used your magic on her, which you noble can use, but you killed her before using that; I will avenge my grandmother's death by killing you."
Garrett still believed that Nobles had magic and that they could bring the dead to life, and he thought that her grandmother could come back to life by using magic on his grandmother.
Which was completely wrong.
Noble may have the ability to use magic, but they were also not able to bring the dead to life; but who would explain this to Garrett? He was lost in his spirit and was not ready to accept reality.
When Garrett began to hit Roy's face with his other hand, Roy also grabbed Garrett's other hand with his other hand.

The boy was telling him in clear words, without being afraid of Roy, that he would lay down his life to kill Roy, and he would keep trying till he was successful.
And Roy was still in deep thought.
'If someone's life is getting ruined because of me, then it is my duty to bring his life on the right path. If now I have become a villain in its eyes, then it is only right that-'
"Whatever happens, you will not change your decision, you will not have any regret on this decision of yours?"
"I will be proud of my decision, far from being remorseful, that I will take away a scum like you from this world."
Roy asked Garrett the question without removing the sword from his neck, whether he would be repentant of his decision or not.
And to which Garrett replied without changing his behavior towards Roy in the same way that he is not afraid of Roy in the slightest, even if Garrett's life is in Roy's hands at this time.
He didn't change his behavior.
When Garrett answered Roy's question, Roy released his grip on Garrett.
"Well then, as your wish, as an aristocrat, it is my duty to fulfill anyone's wish, even if it is a filth like you. You have really a great luck as your wish is going to be fulfilled."
As Roy left Garrett, Garrett wondered for a moment why Roy would have left Garrett.
