Chapter 4: Rito Symphony.
Rito woke up, and Mikan brought Mashiro, who was properly dressed up this time. Looking dazed at Rito! She walked up to Rito and touched his cheeks and spoke.
"Does it still hurt? I am sorry, Mikan told me, it was partly my mistake." She was wearing a loose nightshirt, whose upper buttons were still undone.
And with Mashiro's approach, Rito saw the glimpse of those peaks, making his nose run. As he looked away and nodded hastily.
"It's alright! You should cover your front. I can peek inside your Shirt." With that, Rito took a deep breath and pushed her a little away, and stood up, as he held her hand. Pulling her up, with a slight pull.
"Let's go, Mashiro-Chan! I'll let you eat some good lava cake, I personally baked." As he dragged the silly girl, with him toward the Dinning room.
After lunch, Rito was tasked to escort Mashiro to her room. Given Mikan will be washing dishes and seeing, that she would sleep in time.
According to their mother, Mashiro had a bad habit of working too hard at night time. Which would disturb her working order, making it harder for her to study in the normal school.
Rito did not want her to sleep during her class at school. Or even worst probability, that she would doze during walking.
At that Rito thought, his common sense are starting to twist. Because of the girl, who was sitting in front of him, with the baby look, as she was looking at Anime on the Tv.
Mashiro looked back at Rito, who was looking at her with an unknown emotion, she could not understand.
When Rito's eyes blinked and he stood up. "Let's go, I'll take you to the room, do you want to rest."
Inside the room, the empty room only had a bed with no desk or something else. Given cloth drawer for Mashiro clothes, was already by Mikan.
Mashiro walked to her bed and jumped on it, as she took out the drawing book.
She started to draw, and Rito started to look around the room. Given it was the first time, he had come inside the girl's room. Other than his sister.
"Mashiro, you have to come down for dinner at least." At which, she just nodded her head and Rito felt a headache. Given it was the sign that she was totally focused on her work.
Then again, he need to study too, so he decided to bring the books to her room and study along with her. At which, Mashiro grasped Rito's clothes and stopped him.
Rito turned to look at Mashiro, who was looking at him and asked in a quiet tone.
"Don't go, stay here!" With that, she resumed her work. At that Rito could only laugh wryly.
"I'll just bring some books for study, and then we will stay inside your room to study. Or do you want to come and study in my room?"
Mashiro stood up and held his Shirt cloth from behind, as she obediently replied.
"I'll come to your room, I am feeling a little uncomfortable staying alone." She spoke and started walking out, where Rito lead her to his room.
Inside which, his dress was cleaned by Mikan and was placed orderly, so he thanked his sweet sister inside his mind.
'I might have embarrassed myself If Mashiro would have seen my room like that. I will make a note to keep my room clean. From now on.' Rito thought as he brought Mashiro to sit on the bed or chair, where ever she like to sit.
Rito walked over to her side, he also decided to sit on the bed. It is much more comfortable than sitting on a chair.
As he opened his books and started, making notes of all the detail he had to learn. Both of them were concentrated on their work, as time passed. They switched from place to place.
After some time, they were sitting from shoulder to shoulder. Mashiro was feeling tired, so she looked at Rito's shoulder on the right! and took her liberty.
Placing her head on his shoulder, she continued to draw in that awkward position. Rito after some time closed his register and took the blanket he was sharing with Mashiro. While covering her properly, he silently placed the girl's head on the pillow.
Without disturbing her sleep, he removed the hair from the cheeks, as they were moving toward her nose. Which might had awaken her from her sleep.
He walked to the door, as he looked at the time which was already 3:42 pm. Rito remembered, he will be working for a certain part-time job.
It was at 4:15 pm, so he had to hurry, though, with her speed, it will take no time to reach there. Rito walked down, as he looked at Mikan and washed his face.
"Mikan, I'll be going now for that! I will be back in 2 hours' time. After my concert is over. So you don't have to wait for me and eat that hot cake. But you can share it with Mashiro, she will be in my room sleeping on my bed."
After which Rito took off to the outside world, Mikan glanced at the door and smiled, eating the Ice-cream that she had saved. She took out Rito one and decided to give it to Mashiro.
But on a thought, she put it back thinking to give it to Mashiro, after she had woken up. Traveling in-plane and on the train, simultaneously can be tiring for a girl of her age.
'What am I thinking, I am also around the same age group.' Mikan smiled and started licking the Ice-stick. Sucking on it, with her lips closed, with the sound of gulping, she could have turned any boy on.
Though, every one of them was an unconscious behavior of Mikan.
She was definitely doing it on purpose, that might be the reason, why Mikan close friend, always told her that she was way too damn for her age group.
Rito ran as he maintained a steady breath, along with this manner, he always exercise in the evening of the holidays. While he also gets paid 4000 yen for an hour.
Which was worth working for them, and on the other hand. Rito gets to enjoy playing piano, once a week too. Under the current, the current him had regular customer, who had been coming to see him play Piano every week, on the day he plays his concerto.
The regular customer's name was Tenjoin Saki.
It was the time around when Rito was 7 years old. He wanted to forget his past painful life, so he decided to indulge in many hobbies, at which he was a genius in everything he tried.
Where one of them had been Pianist techniques. His father brought him to a certain shop, and he asked the boss to let him play. At first, the boss only allowed Rito to play in front of him as a test.
Since no matter how much of a genius a kid can be, they would tense to play it live in front of the audience.
Rito started playing the song, and Saki and her father Tenjoin Ryuga entered to see Rito play the piano. The boss of the shop introduced them, as he signaled for Rito to play.
The song which was played by Rito was something, they never heard. Given it was the song he discovered, deep within his heart about his past life. In the beginning the gentle feeling of snowfall, and his love for his parents.
Which continued with their ending life, continuing to gain life with someone appearing, who he wanted to protect.
Which strung their heart, with the gentle yet strong ring to the piano. Which ended with a high note, which lose its sound like fading breath of his.
