Chapter 7: familiar box
"The ring, I think the person who brought this is from the past. What do you think? but the shape of the box is familiar to my eyes, am I related to this? Was the bombing of this building just for fun, He actually wanted to give this box to me?" I guessed. I really like being silly and very confident.
especially when I see this very familiar box, it only increases my confidence level.
"Maybe it's the box you see on television shows about the kingdom. So you feel familiar. Never mind, keep it or give it to the security guards who will investigate further about the Bombing case. Here's the drink." Steve said so sensibly, causing me to finally just nod.
"Just keep it here, who knows when I can remember it again." I said again, Then took the water Steve offered. I'm not really thirsty, but because I've been offered drinking water. Of course I immediately accepted it well.
"Oh yes Steve, can I do anything else after this? I think I want to take a walk in the country, do you have time? We can go for a walk together." I tried to offer him something nice, but Steve shook his head slowly.
"Why?!" I asked immediately, annoyed.
"I'm only here to work, not to take a walk. So don't force me to do what you want. If you want to go for a walk there are other bodyguards who will help you." Steve's words were so firm, I could barely hear what he said.
"Yeah!! How can you say that to me? It's just a walk! While I'm here you should be doing anything! Tsk! That's so annoying! It's the first time I've seen a guy like you. It's no fun- totally fun!" I said in a fairly loud voice, but Steve just kept quiet and stood where he was without being bothered at all.
"I'm quite professional at work, so I don't want to be careless at all. After all, your brother told me not to fall into the trap you set." Steve's words offended me, how could he be so obedient to my brother? though I'm not sure my damn brother would ever know what Steve and I are doing here.
"I know, but at least playing around for a bit is fine right? Your job after all is to make sure I'm okay, so what if while I'm walking around I run into a lot of difficult situations? What if I get hurt? What if I fall? What if I get hit by a car?" I asked with everything in my head so much.
"Then don't go, just sit here and take care of some work that we really have to take care of. There is a lot of paperwork to sign too, you also have to meet clients. Isn't that all very important? Compared to walking around in an obscure way?" Steve asked me, I immediately massaged my forehead slowly. How can he say everything so easily? Has he always been rigid in his life?
How could he tell me to keep working? Even though I also need a vacation here, I need fresh air with something that can make my mind calm.
"Tsk! I don't like the way you work, I also don't like you always being rigid and just doing what my brother says! So don't say it again! I'm so annoyed with you! I want lunch, let's have lunch. Don't say no! or I will cut your salary!" I said with a burst of emotion.
"But it's still early, it's not lunch time yet." Say Steve again.
"Yeah!! I like it! It's already noon on the other side of the world for me! So I'm going to have lunch! Lunch anyway!" I took the pillow beside the sofa and threw it in Steve's face and luckily it actually hit Steve's face which looked so flat!
I hate seeing his face even more, how can he have a handsome and annoying face at the same time? I wanted to turn away from his face, but instead I kept staring at his face.
Just look at how he just stared at the pillow I threw earlier with a completely meaningless look.
"Come on!! What are you waiting for!! Do you want me to starve to death!?" I said once again.
"But you just."
"Say no more! I'm hungry, I'm so hungry right now! Let's go to a nice restaurant here." I had walked briskly out of the study, it would be stupid if Steve didn't want to follow me. I'm really annoyed with him.
"Miss Arabella? Miss.. Can you walk slowly? Miss Ara?" Steve's been Screaming at me. He followed me from behind and tried to catch up with me. I'm trying to walk even faster, I'm already running now. I didn't care anymore that he was really running to match my footsteps.
I'm almost at the front of the elevator, but somehow the story. My feet are wearing high heels that are quite high and immediately tripped with my other foot. It made me flinch a little and almost threw myself to the floor.
I was about to feel the pain of Falling, but Steve grabbed my waist first and hugged me, so I didn't fall again. I smelled his scent up close, so sweet and so comforting. especially the muscles in his chest that I can immediately feel clearly. Good grief!! I like touching a very perfect hard chest.
I know that Steve must have done a lot of strenuous exercise, to build his body so extraordinary. I tried to hold his chest to feel all the beauty more clearly.
But my hand was immediately held by him, I raised my head directly to face him. and only his flat face that I really see right now.
"End of enjoying it all? Can you stand up properly so I can let you go." Steve asked me, his words didn't seem like a question. But rather a statement that really hurt the soul.
tsk! I immediately pushed his growth In annoyance, then began to properly stand in my place.
