Alex curses as he walks to the fridge to pick up a water bottle.
It was another tedious day for our unseeming protagonist. He is yet to realise his while life is about to be changed.
He walks to the bedroom sighing and cursing his poor life.
Alex, a 19-year-old lives in a small apartment passed down as inheritance from his parents who died in a crash.
He walks into his room and picks up a playboy novel, his favourite stress relief material. He stares at the nude models imagining a rich life where he can enjoy it as Tony stark, minus the philanthropist part.
After he climaxes and cleans up with a tissue, then he goes out for his part-time job. After a full day of hard work, he walks into the supermarket to buy some cup noodles.
.....The food for the poor. *Nod nod* ....How much longer should I live like this. Sigh, I miss my parents. I hope they are not disappointed watching me waste my life.
Walking into the cup noodle aisle and picking up a mega saver pack he walks to the billing counter. It was nighttime, the market was nearly empty. Suddenly few men in black suits with masks bust in with guns demanding the cash.
They threaten everyone, forcing them to kneel with their hands behind their heads. They try to take a 10-year-old as a hostage for safety.
Dumbfounded Alex.....
...Jesus, it is just a simple supermarket robbery. Why are they acting it like it is some big bank heist? Fuck, I should save the kid, what if she is hurt accidentally?
Alex jumps onto the thug holding the hostage and pushes the girl away causing enough distraction for the cashier to call the police. After a few moments of chaos, a gunshot is heard followed by police sirens.
....Good, now that is taken care of... why does my stomach hurt?
Alex glances down and sees his shirt dyed red.
He was shot.
His eyelids start becoming heavy and he faints.
His eyelids are still heavy.
