Chapter 6: The cover
" Whom did you call first, after reading this book? ", granny shouted
" You, granny ", I mumbled.
Granny slapped me and started to yell, " Why did you read it, didn't you read the book, it was written, diary, and it addition it. Didn't you see the caution page ",
" I thought it was just a joke ", I gulped.
" Great! The book cursed people and that's the reason why I use to keep it in the locker... it was my fault I kept it on out of the locker, in hurry"
" You are kidding right? ", I trembled.
I never saw granny in such furious mood.
" Alfred, please move out, or else you will also die ",
" What? ",
Granny kick him outside and locked.
" You didn't get it... anyway I will never see you after we reach St John's ", she wept
" What is going on granny? Please tell me! ", o trembled.
" Sorry, I didn't told you before, so that you won't be cursed, now as you are already cursed.... I think it's worthless to keep this as secret ", She cried.
She rubbed her tears and sat on the bed,
"Come sit here ",
We both sat on the bed. Granny snipped and said, "You see, your grandpa is still alive. You and Alfred guessed right, I didn't just want to go to US, just so that I could paint, I can even paint in Scotland, London, wherever I want.I want to go to US, so that I could meet your grandpa",
"What grandfather is in US. Why he is living in Us ? ", I asked.
" We are cursed so ",
" Granny, what curse are you talking about ?",
" Queen Blood's curse ", she said
" Queen Blood! ", I exclaimed.
" Anyone who read the Magical Diary of a cursed person, will also be cursed. The 1st name, whom the cursed person will call will be separated from the cursed person. Both will need to live apart from each other in a different continent. If they stay at the same continent they will turn into stone as soon as they touch the continent. There are also some other that the cursed person need to follow, like the cursed persons can't go on a voyage on the same day, can't go out on weeding and birthday or any happy celebration. The cursed person will at least need to attend a funeral, once a year and there are many more, or else you will turned to stone ",
" But you are going to America ",
"On every last 15 days of a century, the curse break, but though after the new century both will turn into stone ",
" That mean you both will pass away on 2nd January ",
" Yes... even you dear....That's why I always use to say, don't touch other's things without asking! now, die", she scolded.
My heart was beating fast, I couldn't believe I trembled, " Isn't there any other way you break the curse? ",
" There is, but it is next to impossible ", she cried
" I will try my best, tell me ", I begged.
" You will need to keep a blue light flower on the diary ",
"So what; we will buy that flower ",
" No, dear! that flower is only found in Blood island and where that island is, nobody know, not even a single person had able to break that cursed "
I started to sobbed and was about to open the door
" Anna, Anna, granny please open the door ", he knocked very loudly.
" Please don't tell about the curse or else he will also die ",
" What would I say then, what was going on here ",
" Just tell him that you can't tell him, or else he will loss you ",
I couldn't say even a word , I just cried and open the door. Alfred was standing in front of the door. I hugged him and cried, " I love you Alfred ",
" What happen, babe? ", he was worried.
" I can't tell you. I don't want to loss you ",
" I love you too... ", he wept.
Granny too wept and then she said, " Sorry, gentleman, I am sorry, I kick your butt, but it was just for your betterment, please forgive your old granny ",
" No", he clicked
I stare at him
" No, I will not forgive you,do you know how painful it was. it had turned red, you will need to pay for it. Bake bake a cake... please!",
We laughed, it was only Alfred who use to make every moments happy and memorable.
Granny bake a cake for us. We ate eat and slept.
Then in the middle of the night someone yelled " How dare you to read my diary ",
I wake up and saw a lady standing infront of me, surrounded with fire, I was scared near to death, I started to screamed,
" It's useless, no one can hear you ",
" Granny, Alfred ", I started to wake up them, but that girl throw me a diary and she got lost, it was same as my granny's one.
" What happen Anna? ", Alfred got up,
" A girl was standing in front of me, she throw me a ... ", Then I suddenly stoped. I got it, it was Queen Blood, who use to give a diary to the cursed person.
" Throw you what? ", asked Alfred
" No, nothing. I think I was dreaming, good night ", I stammered.
" It's midnight... Granny is slept... Let have some fun ", he whispered
" What kind of fun? ",
" Let see the night world... ",
I was sleepy but as I know these days are my ending days, I wanted to spend time with him.
" Let's go", I agreed.
We put on our coats and went out,
" Ohh... it's really cold outside ", I shuddered.
" By the way she was more pretty than you !", he whispered.
" She? ",
" I know... I heard everything, what granny told you... I am cursed too for i heard about it "
I hugged him and cried, " Don't worry anyway we will die one day.... why should we cry... we should be proud our love will never be old... I am happy, I will never see your wrinkled face... Hey never mine... let me see your diary cover ",
" It's in the room ",
" Oh, ok... but don't you think that cover look familiar ",
" What? "
" I mean the pattern, granny's diary had seven leaves and in between there is a sun same in my diar",
" But my diary has circles ",
" No, man I mean the pattern, do you have seven circles and in between there is sun ",
" Yeah",
" And the first upper circle circle is bigger right?",
" Yes ",
" Let me see yours one ", he ran to my room, I too ran,
" Where is it? Where it's it? ", he started to ask like a mad.
" Hey, calm down, calm down. The world is sleeping ",
" Where is it ? ", he whispered in a very low voice.
" Here it is! ",I gave him the book, he pull the book away tremendously,
" And where us your granny's diary? ", he asked
" It's in in the locker ",
" Where is the locker? ",
" It's in the locker ",
" Common, stop kidding, where is the locker ",
" Hey, you couples, go out and do your romance outside, or else sleep. I am really tired ", she said with sleepy voice.
" Sorry, granny, we will go outside ",he apologised and whispered, " Let's go to my room",
We went outside, then I said, " Shouldn't we include granny in our talks? ",
" I will tell you the reason, but let go to my room ",
We went upstairs to his room.
It was dark like blind. We went inside,
"Raaaaaah!", i tried him to scare,
He giggled,
" I am trying to scare you and you are laughing "
" You think, after discovering that ghost are more hot than you, I will get scare "
" Yeah, she is hot, there were fire on his body, my gosh even I was really, feeling hot... but the way she throw me the diary was so funny that I giggled infront of a ghost ",
" Hahahaha... Really, you are more courageous then French revolutionar ",he lighted the lantern and said, " Ok, jokes aside and come back to the point... ",
He kept the diary on a table and kept the lantern on the table.

"I know yours is circle and mine one is square... but look the cover, isn't the pattern same... there are three object which are connected to each other and on opposite side there is two object connected to each other,
and there is a white stretchy shaped on the bottom and there is a small circle... or square on the bottom right, and above it all what really is important is that the sun which is between this two. The exact pattern!", he explained.
" I see... but how this pattern is important ",
" You didn't get it?... Ok, I think you are weak in geography but, at least you know the seven continent right? ",
" Seriously? You think I am weak in geography then you are wrong, I have never make a mistake in geography exams ",
" Which is the biggest continent? ", he uttered
" Asia", I answered
" What is Afro-eurasia ? ",
"Africa plus Europe plus Asia ",

" Got it... What? ",
" That's normal, let me say in straight forward answer...",
" I got it ", I gasped in between.

He blinked his right eye,
" I thought you are a dump businessman, but you are way more ahead then Galileo ",

" And the remaining dump ", I laughed then someone next to Alfred room cried, " Witch, witch ", it was a baby
" Ohh my baby, don't worry your teddy will protect you... who the fuck is laughing at midnight ", barked a lady.
" Hahahaha ", Alfred started to laughed without making sound I too laughed,
" You can' t laughed at your own insult ", he laughed.
" I am not laughing at my insult, your laughing make me to laugh... Hey, wait a minute, we got that the island is in the Pacific ocean, near Africa and Europe, but how we will know, where exactly the island is",
" We will need to search for it ",
" Are you kidding! ",
" Trust me we will find out it ",
" I trust you, but we don't have time, it would be better, if we could use your ship, through this speed, it will takes weeks ", I said
" Ok, I will sent a letter to my sailor,to bring the boat here, immediately I think it will reach by day after tommorow ",
" How will you send the letter? ",
" Come here, but in silence ", he whispered
He sawed his pigeon.
" You are really dump ",
" Why? ",
"We had already laughed like like a witch which is even enough to wake up a sloth and now, you you are saying to come in silence ",
" Oh I didn't thought about it... but you acknowledge you laugh like like a witch ",
"And you acknowledge that you are dump ",
" Ok, you won. We will send the pigeon tommorow, let him sleep tonight ",
" Ok ",
" And one more thing, please don't tell about the cover to granny", he added.
" Why? ",
"You see, your granny had not seen your grandfather for i think more then 20 years, because you are 20 and you didn't saw your grandfather... ",
" Not even my mom, he left when my dad was a kid ", I added.
" Ok, Then it mean more then 50 years and if we will tell her about the cover then she will help us... and I don't want her to spend her time, in search of a place, which isn't confirmed. Let her spend her time with grandfather, to whom she had been waiting for so long years... can you imagine that... how long she had been waiting for the upcoming days ",
" You really understand people ", I pat on his shoulder.
" That's the reason, why I got such a hot girlfriend ",
I started to play with my hair.
" Can I get a hot kiss from a hot girl... I am trembling from cold ", he was about to kiss then I throw him a blanket.
" It's still cold ",
" Really ok, how about this one? ", I pick up the lantern and was almost going hit him with lantern I throw the candle out of the ship and kissed him.
" How strange it is, we are going to die after few days and we are laughing and kissing without worrying about it ", I said
