Chapter 3: Tasteless
"Kanaya, what are you doing?" asked Sinta.
"Bhishma and I are hungry, Mom," answered Kanaya.
"Why don't you take Bhishma too," said Sinta.
"Bhishma still needs time to adapt, Mom. So, just let Kanaya bring the food to the room," said Kanaya.
Sita also advised Kanaya, that Kanaya must respect Bhishma. Bhishma who is her husband now. Sinta also hopes that Kanaya and Bhishma can have a marriage relationship until they are old. Until they are separated by death, that's what Kanaya's parents hope for.

It was dawn, and Kanaya got up from her bed. He carried out his duties as a Muslim. After that, he rushed to the kitchen to help Sinta cook in the kitchen. The woman did not dare to wake her husband, she let Bhishma sleep.
"How was your sleep last night, Kanaya?" asked Sinta.

Kanaya almost forgot that her husband had not carried out his obligations. The woman rushed to the room to wake Bhishma. It turned out that Bhishma had just finished carrying out his obligations. Bhishma turned to Kanaya, her husband gave a smile.
"What is it?" Bhishma asked.
"When we're done, let's have breakfast first," answered Kanaya.
As usual, before the Kanaya family does their activities, they are used to having breakfast first. Bhishma is a thirty-year-old male, who is already working in a company located in the city of Malang. Bhishma is an economics graduate, his friendly nature makes it easy for him to make friends. After breakfast, Bhishma said goodbye to work. As for Kanaya, she has to approach TPQ students in schools. Not only in the prayer room but Kanaya also usually teaches the Koran in elementary schools.
Bhishma and Kanaya set off together, they rode Bhishma's motorbike.

The atmosphere this morning is so bright, the sun is shining brightly. Kanaya stepped into elementary school. He passed every classroom corridor.

Kanaya is liked by her students, they all think of Kanaya as their mother.
"Ustadzah Kanaya, where is Ustadz Hamdan?" asked Defi, one of Kanaya's students.

Kanaya went to the office, and she thought about Hamdan. Kanaya looked for Hamdan, it was true, Hamdan was no longer there.
"Ustadz Hamdan has permission to leave this school, ustadzah," said Dian, one of the teachers.

Kanaya was silent, she was thinking. Maybe Hamdan's departure was because of him, because of the feelings he had expressed. Kanaya could not understand that Hamdan would resign. Kanaya was able to enter this school because Hamdan recommended it. Kanaya feels empty with Hamdan's departure. However, Kanaya still has feelings for Hamdan. It took time to love her husband for Kanaya who was hard to fall in love with. Remembering Hamdan is also his first love. I don't know how long it will take Kanaya to forget Hamdan.
'I already have a husband, I shouldn't still remember Hamdan. Why is all this happening to me? I who want to be happy together with the person I love, it turns out I married a man I didn't know before.' Kanaya's mind recalled the past with Hamdan.
"Come on! What's up?" asked Ara startling Kanaya.
"Ara? Are you here?"
"Yes, I am instead of Hamdan. I will be your partner from today onwards," said Ara full of enthusiasm.
In the room, Kanaya saw Hamdan's chair which was empty of Hamdan's things. Now there are only Ara's books there. His gaze began to empty, his heart also felt that something was missing.
