Chapter 3: Fake Golden Core

Blake swung his halberd at the 3 remaining Golden Core experts using full force. Sadly, only one of them was caught off guard. When the expert was sliced in half, his torso flew off from the force, leaving only his bottom seated on the ground. He immediately began spewing fresh blood like a fountain.

"Jesus! Can't you tone it down a notch? You already killed 3 of our friends!!!" The other 2 experts were in pure shock. They did not expect a kid to kill them off 3 at a time! And he's fast as well!! He ain't no regular martial arts master, he's a literal slaugtherbot!!

"If you have time to complain, why don't you two find ways to prevent me from killing you?" Blake smirked as he began drawing patterns with his finger. In a matter of seconds, Blake had successfully set up 2 tier 1 summoning arrays.

He smiled at the experts once more as he shouted "Array Rise! Kill them all and leave nothing behind!!"

The summoning arrays lit up, showing a darkish purple glow as 2 Earthbound Lizards slowly appeared. They were clad in earthen armor and brandished sharp steel katanas. They gave a cold, deathly vibe as they slowly walked towards the experts.

The Golden Core experts were in shock, not only was Blake a martial arts master, he was an array master as well! Oh, how was their luck this bad??

Blake looked at the experts with pity as he raised his right hand into the sky and made a fist. "Tier 2 battle array! Steel Hail Array! Rise!" It was the battle array that Blake had secretly made previously! Bits and pieces of metal dropped from the blue sky, slowly but surely, those pieces of metal slowly combined and formed sharp knives that rained down upon the experts. The main killer technique wasn't the summoned soldiers but instead was a sneakily placed battle array!

"Now! Enjoy your silent and most painful death! Courtesy of this city's Grandmaster, me." Blake bowed slightly at the experts as thousands of knives rained upon his enemies.

"Oh fucking hell...We're dead!" The 2 remaining Golden Core experts finally perished under the hail of knives, leaving not even their skeleton behind!

'Fake Golden Core experts...Dare mess with me...'

Now that that was taken care of, it was time for Blake to visit the Derako family. Though he was quite disappointed that the battle didn't help him in the slightest at his breakthrough. "Haiz, I think I decimated them too fast, I should have acted weak and played around more with them...Damn it!"

Blake's residence

Before going to the Derako family, Blake had stopped by a Chinese medicinal store and bought some ingredients for pill refining. Or you know, basic Chinese herbal cooking because of Blake's rank being too low and therefore can't even refine the weakest Mana Sensing pill.

Blake found a pot and filled it up with water. He placed it on the stove and then he just poured all of the ingredients without a care in the world. Blake knew that cooking it like this would deteriorate the effects of the final product so he inputted his Magic Power into the fire, ensuring the effects stay while he gets to drink the bitter but helpful soup.

When the soup was finished, the surface turned dark brown with a tinge of purple glow in it. Yeah, it looked pretty deadly. Yet of course, Blake drank it like it was his favorite drink. It would have been incredibly weird and disgusting for normal humans if consumed, then again Blake was weird from the very beginning...the path to godhood should be deemed bullshit.

Anyways, after Blake drank the soup, he could feel his meridians were being slowly strengthened and that his bones were being refined by the herbal ingredients' combined Spiritual Energy. After he sat cross legged on his couch and closed his eyes, Blake circulated the Qi in his body nonstop. After a while, Blake felt that it was really time for his breakthrough. He got up and took a soda from the fridge before chugging it down in one gulp.

'Ah, that felt refreshing! Time for my breakthrough!!!'

Suddenly, his body glowed dark purple. Cracks can be seen appearing all over his body as the spiritual energy within him finally bursts out! Once the light dimmed out, Blake took a good long look at his new and upgraded body. Not only did he grow taller and stronger, his hair color became whiter? At this moment, Blake had successfully broken through into Magic Practitioner realm!

'Yes, I'm finally rank 1, Magic Practitioner realm!'

To test out his new power, Blake decided it was finally time to pay the Derako family a visit.

35 minutes later...

Shinjuku City, Dragon Arch Park

'Whew! I'm beat! Who knew running from my house to the neighboring city would take less than an hour? Well, since I'm here anyway, let's see what other cool abilities I have unlocked upon reaching Magic Practitioner realm...Hmmm, nothing new it seems...Ah wait! What's this move?' Blake aimed his right hand towards a statue and it blew up?!?! Blake neither saw nor felt anything come out from his right hand, yet the statue blew up upon being aimed at. What a mysterious ability, he thought to himself.

Blake then continued to sprint towards the Derako family estate. Yeah, they're Shinjuku's strongest martial arts family who are not only adept in the ways of Tao, but also possess at least 1000 businesses across Japan. The Derako family was practically one of Japan's economic pillar. And Blake's gonna tear it down.

'The city's governor will forgive me, right? Maybe? Might? I don't know.' Blake pondered.

Derako family, main branch estate

"Man! Their door is huge! Look at those walls! What's this...Oh...oh ok...Apparently the Derako family is rich enough to have all their walls be integrated with tier 2 defensive arrays. Although it's tier 2, this should still be easy..." He casted an all attribute increase spell on himself after laying down several summoning arrays, readied if anything unexpected ever happens...Of course, the chances of that happening was very slim since Blake was now a Magic Practitioner.

After completing his preparations, Blake took a few steps back before charging the walls at full force.
