Chapter 49: A Lot Of Things Happened...

Sitting by the window in the very back of Class 3C, Blake quietly recalled all of the fun and wonderful memories he had in the past year in this new era. He joined Class 2B in May last year.

In June, the summer holidays started and so did Wanryu's annual Middle School Brawler Competition for all Year 2 students.

The participating middle schools were Wanryu Middle School, Shining Spear Sect, Robin's Academy, and Sea God Institution Of Art.

Each participating school was asked to send out 4 of their most elite YEar 2 students to participate in 8 1v1 battles before moving on to 4 1v1 battles and so on.

Although Blake had just joined the school in May, Principal Akira had no choice but to send him out as one of their representatives since Wanryu Middle School needed to keep up their image as an elite middle school within the capital.

Of course, since Blake was just a no name junior, there was a lot of backlash from the other Year 2 students and even Year 3 students.

Alas, under the might of a Magic Ancestor like Blake, everybody who challenged him was beaten black and blue in an instant!

After that fiasco was over, the remaining three representatives chosen by the school were Zack Scarletheart from Class 2B, Rajesh Gupta from Class 2C and Wilford Maoshen from Class 2A.

Zack was famous for his sword skills while Rajesh was gifted in using the saber.

Wilford on the other hand, was the best spear user of the Year 2s so Principal Akira naturally picked him.

All 3 participants excluding Blake were Martial Corporals, the strongest of all the Year 2s in Wanryu Middle School.

On the day of the city's competition, the team from Wanryu Middle School dominated their opponents till even their teachers had to plead for mercy on behalf of their students.

Blake's mercilessness when it came to dealing with arrogant brats almost cost the other 3 schools massive losses and deaths.

In August, Blake had encountered a bottleneck in his cultivation and decided to start a new journey on the martial path to accumulate experiences for his breakthrough to the Magic Saint realm in the near future.

Besides that, Zack and Wilford would constantly challenge Blake to a duel everyday for the past month as a way to train and improve themselves.

And if Blake was in a good mood, he would give them pointers or answer the two's questions regarding the mysteries of the martial path.

In September, Blake was asked to go behind the gym by Amelia suddenly. Standing beside Blake at that time was Zack and Wilford.

Wilford was smirking the rest of the way while Zack stayed silent, experiencing mixed emotions of happiness and jealousy towards Blake.

If it wasn't because Zack held feelings for Amelia, the class monitor of Class 2B would've felt happy for his own classmate.

At the end of school, Zack went back home first while Wilford accompanied Blake to the promised location. When they got there, Amelia blushed for a bit before asking Blake for his help in confessing to her crush, Zack.

When the two boys heard about her request, Blake simply smiled wryly since he had already predicted this while Wilford was stunned into silence.

After waking up from his stupor, Wilford decided to head home first while thinking of ways to hook Zack up with Amelia. Both had feelings for each other, yet neither one of them wanted to step forward and confess.

Wilford felt that besides being an expert in using the spear, he was completely clueless towards the topic of love and crushes.

Perhaps, he will meet his fated one later on in his martial journey.

During Wanryu Middle School's winter break, Blake and his friends took a trip to the Okinawa Prefecture to visit some of Blake's old friends along with a fun day at the beach.

After the beach day and hot springs trip, Zack and Amelia remained friends, Blake robbed the secret vault of an old alchemist friend dry, and Willford had achieved oneness with his spear.

With his spear in hand, at the mere age of 15 years old, Willford has successfully become one with his spear and could now activate spear aura.

In February 2020, the 2 superpowers that control the Hokkaido Prefecture and Kumamoto Prefecture decided to do a student exchange program with the Swordfish Kingdom for an entire week.

It was originally planned to find out the weaknesses of the Swordfish Kingdom but was later foiled by a very, very bored Magic Ancestor who had run out of AVs to watch.

With the hand speed of a flash of lightning, Blake had silently and quickly assassinated the schemers and spies sent by the enemy powers.

Later in the week, Blake along with Sacred Ancestor Kun and Alchemy Prince Yuu, released several secret techniques at the two powers and ended up destroying the two powers overnight.

"With me around, did you think I'd let a bunch of dogs cause trouble to my people?" Blake calmly asked the man in front of him.

Within seconds after the man had sat down to enjoy his boba tea, a sword as black as night had pierced through his doors and into his stomach, causing him to vomit out blood mixed with boba.

Half a second later, a string of explosions resounded as the room the man was in shook intensely.

2 minutes later, the room stopped shaking and the sound of explosions also stopped ringing.

The man wanted to take a look outside but the black sword had him pinned to the wall, rendering him immobile unless the man were to remove it himself.

Alas, just right before he was about to remove the sword, Blake had arrived while exuding his Magic Emperor aura.

The man later died a horrible death to one of Blake's sword formations.
