Chapter 3: CHAPTER 3: THE NEW WORLD

General Malcom was speechless when he saw all this. After a while he started to inquire others about all their abilities and spend some time note down everything for future uses. During this time, he realises some of their abilities are different than others but some have same abilities. He also learned that among the 1000 man, only him and another young captain have rare skill. So, he summarises that the probability of rare skill could me 1 in 1000. Another fact was that all 1000 of them have the inborn skill God Tongue. Soon all of them started to test their abilities. They were able to understand the abilities so smooth as they were born with the skill and the skill were part of their body. They just need to call out their ability and it will activate on its own. Most of the soldier with lower cooldown tested their abilities but some with higher cooldown like General Malcom hold it without testing as they were unsure of their expedition. After the inquiry and testing of the abilities, General Malcom decided which direction to go and they all travelled north without thinking too much about the abilities as they have a expedition mission in front of them. Roughly an hour after they exited the forest and as far as the can see in the north are barren land. They soon marked their exit from the forest and started to travel north. General Malcom select 8 soldier who has the highest speed as well as 2 of the soldiers with vision skill where can they see further than normal person can and divide them into 2 teams, each have 5 soldiers and send them as scouts check further north as others slowly follow them from behind. It's already 23 hours since they stepped into the new world but then day here seems to be longer than of the earth because up until now the new world is still as bright as they came 23 hours ago. After almost a day, one of the scout team return and report they found some strange men in lizard form around 2 km in front of them. The scout reports there were only 7 of them but the scout cannot see their level as their level shows ???. but still since its just 7-man team, General Malcom lead the army towards the lizardmen direction. As soon as the lizardmen saw around 1000 man approaching them, they were prepared to leave but as the 1000 man came closer, the lizardmen stopped leaving as they can see all the 1000 man were level 1 and look at them in a disdain way. They were not scare of the 1000-man squad at all which leave General Malcom perplexed. General Malcom did not understand why these men were not scared of them but he still approached them and greet them to learn information about the new world. For some reason, the leader of the lizardmen came forward and greet General Malcom even though he totally disdains him. The lizardmen leader told General Malcom that he was from the nearby lizardmen village under the jurisdiction of Wyvern City and asked General Malcom what race he is and from where they all coming from. General Malcom conclude the reason the Lizardmen leader talking nicely right now must be inquire if there are any power behind them and to inquire where they were coming from so General Malcom told the lizardmen leader they were coming from a faraway place to the south and they are from human race. The lizardmen leader gave a confusing look but he did not bother much. He just told General Malcom he never heard of the human race before. Because of the God Tongue skill both sides have no issue understanding each other. The leader of the lizardmen suddenly invite General Malcom and his men to follow little further north. General Malcom seems to hesitate so the leader of the lizardmen told them its going to night soon so all of them can camp if they follow the lizardmen a little further north. Without any choice, General Malcom hesitatingly follow these lizardmen vigilantly. Soon they arrived at the promised campsite…
