Three dead wolves.

That’s how many of us lost their lives in the battle today.

Riding home in the back of the transport vehicle between Aurora and Alex, I can’t help but think about Susan, Shawn, and Franco. I picture Franco’s three small children in my mind, and tears sting my eyes.

He died saving me, and now those kids don’t have a father.

Even though we were victorious on the battlefield today, all of us are solemn as we make the long ride back home. Not only did we lose three members of our crew, Kradick got away.

That b*stard! He’s such a coward. I can still picture him running away as he slipped out from under Micah’s paws. What kind of an Alpha does that? Abandons the battlefield the moment things get tricky?
