Synopsis
Victoria Russo is the daughter of the number-one New York Italian American mafia family boss, but she spends her time as any other female in their early twenties does – going to functions with her family, partying with friends, and undergoing a Bachelor of Law degree.
But Victoria has a secret. She's also an ice skater, going by the name Tori. With college encompassing more of her life, Victoria is finding it harder to sneak away to practice. Especially when her father reveals that Victoria is to start a law firm with another mafia boss' son, Antoni.
Will Antoni and Victoria be able to work through their complicated relationship and escape the clutches of the mafia world? Or will the darkness crown them its next King and Queen?

A lead character with a secret double life and mafia ties? It really can't get much better than that. The author pulls out all the stops and it shows in her writing.
I couldn't put this one down! Antoni and Victoria's constantly back and forth was so fun to read and the action and drama they go through to work together was jaw dropping and too good to put down!
Another brilliant story from Anisa. I couldn’t put it down! I find myself thinking of the world, the characters and the story long after I’ve finished. Definitely one of my favourites.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!! This author really knows how to bring to life authentic characters. Tori and Antoni with the beauty and the beast motif was such a cute touch as well! It added such depth to the story as a whole while still letting the story progress as it's own thing. Genius. I have my eye on this author now!
Antoni is so hot, the dialogues are amazing and I love how strong and sassy Vitoria is! I really like the darkness the mafia world brings to their lives and to see how they faced it together is amazing and inspirational!
WHAT A FIND! I love the descriptions of everything from the cozy cafe to the steaming hot male lead, Antoni! I just kept scrolling, scrolling, and scrolling!!! I can't wait to know what happens next!!!
This is a new author to me, but I'm so glad I found this book. The pace is so fast, and the dialogue is so interesting. I love the story idea, and I have to keep reading to find out what happens next. Can't wait until there are more chapters to read!
