Chapter 4: Let's Hope For The Best
2 months passed in a flash, It was time for me to go to the Academy to get my potential tested.
I am nervous because there might be a chance for me to turn out like my past self.
Nevertheless, I gathered up the courage to go.
I was accompanied by 5 knights to escort and guard me to the Academy,
By carriage, the journey would take about a week before I will reach the Capital where the Academy is located.
In this world which is called Lupa,
There are 5 Continents
The Continent of the Trea Kingdom -. Another Kingdom governed by dwarven people, This Continent is full of caves and mountains making it rich in natural resources.
The Continent of Laie Kingdom - A Kingdom dominated by Elven people, The Laie Kingdom is full of forest and trees.
The Continent of Yean Kingdom - A Kingdom governed by humans, the Yean Kingdom is often accompanied by harsh winters every October to December.
The Continent of Myllena Kingdom - The Kingdom of Light, The Main kingdom of the Church of Myllen. A Kingdom which is full of churches. The Continent is full of rivers and pathways to the ocean and is placed in the middle of the globe. There is a lot of trading going around in this country.
The Continent of Xen - The Continent accompanied by a thick fog, you could say that this continent is by far the dangerous one, there are no kingdoms here as it has been recently discovered so it needs to be culled first of dangerous monsters and entities.
All 4 of the Kingdoms have their respective academies.
The Continent of Trea has the Academy of Hope
The Continent of Laie has the Academy of Aspiration
The Continent of Yean has the Academy of Ambition
The Continent of Myllenna has the School of Light
The Academies have one goal and that is to nurture and guide students with the potential to increase the power of their own Kingdom.
A Tournament is hosted every year to test the power of students each passing year.
The Championship of Cadets is an event that is highly regarded by students of every academy.
The last Championship was hosted in the kingdom of Myllenna, It is currently March 7th, 4002.
The start of the Championship of Cadets is always every December 10th,
There is also another reason why I am nervous about the testing of my potential.
If I was approved for having potential, I will get admitted to the Academy of Ambition.
My brothers, Connor and Jain already been admitted to the Academy because they both possess the potential.
Connor is a Third-year in the Aura class while Jain is a Second-Year in the Mana Class.
"I hope I pass," I thought to myself.
I hear a knock on the carriage door.
I open the window and see a fully armored knight, bearing the crest of House Lynine.
"Young master, we will rest here for the night and the food is now ready"
"Yes, thank you" I replied
The Knight nodded and walked away.
I open the carriage door and got out of the carriage.
We are currently in a forest area, I look up in the sky and saw thousands of stars shimmering in the distance.
"Beautiful" I utter to myself.
I look for the food near the campfire they set up and proceeded to eat.
A week passed by in a flash, and we now reached the Capital of Yean.
On the outside, there is a giant wall as tall as a skyscraper, with a giant gate where there were approximately 100 Knights bearing the Crest of Yean, guarding the giant gate.
"Halt" A Knight of Yean ordered to us.
The Carriage halts in front of the giant gate.
He inspects the carriage and looks inside to see a young boy aged around 15 seated.
He then looked at the driver in the front and asked for an Identification
The driver gives something to the Knight and he nodded, he then looked at the 5 knights escorting me and nods to them.
"Let the carriage past" The Inspector Knight orders.
I then hear the sound of the gate ascending and making way for us to enter.
The sounds of hoofs then start and our carriage enters the Capital of Yean.
