Chapter 157: Ch. 152
"All done." Xyrus flew back down, patting his hands on the process.
"....That was..." Superman was speechless on what he saw.
"Dangerous." Batman completed Superman's sentence through his own understanding.
"No, not that. It was enchanting." Superman corrected Batman and finished his own sentence.
Batman side-eyed him and said, "...And dangerous." Followed by a sigh from Superman.
"How is that dangerous?" Superman exasperatedly asked him as he was getting tired on Batman always finding everything dangerous.
"Does a man with unknown background, a man we don't know have the ability to manipulate time, not dangerous enough?" Batman glared at Superman, as if questioning his naivety.
"Ohhhh." Superman has a look of realization as he realizes.
"I don't like the way you look at me, anyways, I'm going now. Oh, and by the way, do you guys have any idea where I could get the materials made of this." Xyrus was about to leave along with Saitama and Whitebeard, but suddenly remembers something. So he took out the trident of The Drowned and showed it to them before asking.
"That's-" Batman squinted his eyes and was about to utter a name when somebody beats him to it.
"Hey, that's my trident!" A bearded man holding a similar trident came coming in as he pointed at the trident on Xyrus's hands.
"Yes, I believe it was yours, may I know where this material is made of?" Xyrus asked him.
Aquaman scratched his beard for a few seconds as he was thinking about something before snapping his fingers.
"Ahah! I remember my Mera telling me that it was forged in Kingdom of Deserters. I remember going there, but I forgot the ways. Anyways, can you give it to me, friend? I think it is mine." Aquaman revealed before asking for the Trident.
"Sorry to break it to you, but this Trident belongs to me now, you know, as my trophy for defeating my enemy." Xyrus shrugged his shoulders, earning a huff from Aquaman.
"Give me my trident, that's mine." Aquaman tried to stay as calm as possible.
"...No." Xyrus gave him a smile and just when Aquaman thought that Xyrus would give the trident to him, Xyrus suddenly slapped him with a 'no'.
"Give me b-." Aquaman was about to burst and use force to take it from Xyrus when Saitama suddenly appeared behind him and smacked his nape, knocking him unsconcious.
"Did you kill him?" Xyrus knew about Saitama's uncontrollable strength, so he asked.
"Nope, I made sure to use as little strength as possible, which is why I only used my pinky." Saitama said as he showed off his pinky and wiggled it in front of everyone.
"I hope that won't spark some enmity between us." Xyrus said to Batman and Superman and before they could react, Xyrus already left with a portal while Saitama and Whitebeard disappeared in a flash.
Superman sighed as he didn't even managed to stop them, though he didn't really tried as he felt bad if he went on and catch them when all they did was to help them.
"You could've catched them." Batman spoke by his side.
"Sigh, I know. Anyways, I still have an article to write, I'm going first." Superman sighed again before making up an excuse and left.
Meanwhile, Batman was left wondering on why Aquaman was here on the first place.

"Let's see here." Xyrus was currently inside the castle in Kingdom of Deserters. As for how he knew it? Although Aquaman said that he forgot it, but it is still part of his memory, so Xyrus still managed to find the place and portaled to it.
"There should be some clues around here." Xyrus looked around however, all he saw was just destructed walls and ceilings, nothing noteworthy.
"Sigh, I can't stay here for long." After all, he doesn't know what happened back in his world and how much time has passed, who knows when he came back, the entire world is already on the verge of destruction.
Well, if push comes to shove, then he would just reverse the entire time of his world back to before he travelled to the Channel.
However, Xyrus's thoughts were cut out when he suddenly felt an irresistible pulling from his back, although he tried to resist with his Space stone, but it was already too late as he was already gone before he knew it.

When Xyrus opened his eyes, he saw that he was in a very dark surroundings and in front of him looks like Batman but reeks of demonic features, especially when he's looking at Xyrus as if he's some sort of object.
"You have thwarted by plans, mortal." The man's voice was very deep as it sounded through Xyrus's soul instead of his ears.
"W-who are you?" Xyrus grunted in pain as he felt some injuries on his soul.
He could feel that the being in front of him is as strong as the living tribunal but a bit weaker, nonetheless he's still stronger than him.
"Don't speak to me, mortal. I'm not in a good mood. However, you can call me the Bat-God." He grinned as purple lightning flickered around him.
Xyrus could feel how dangerous this lightning was so he didn't act rashly but assessed the situation first.
"Why are you doing this?"
"Why? You asked me why?! You killed my pawn, my only key to devour the entire Multiverse but you have to get in the way and disrupt my plan!" The Bat-Gid started thrashing around and threw a lightning strike at Xyrus.
Xyrus's eyes widened and he immediately conjured a huge portal to defend himself fortunately, it worked as another portal opens up behind the Bat-God and was about to strike him on his back.
"Not bad." However, before it could make contact on the Bat-God's back, the said lightning suddenly vanishes and the Bat-God grinned and chuckled madly.
"That was a good move but it won't work. In my place, I control everything, so be grateful as I haven't killed you yet. And that's because I have a job for you. Since you killed my recent pawn, then you'll replace him!" The Bat-God said and then tapped his outstretched finger on Xyrus's forehead.
"Now, become my slave!"
