Chapter 53: Chapter 53. Result

Under the bright light of the lamps, heavy breathing could be heard. Samato was sitting on a chair, his body was shaking, and the veins near his eyes were swollen. Supporting the medical technique, he monitored the changes in his body.

The scientist saw how the vital energy in the cells grows, and a wave of power begins to spread through the body. Sighing once again, Samato suddenly felt something.

Abruptly, as if he was pierced by lightning, a strangely formed wave of chakra passed through his body, which, passing through the chakra channels, reached his eyes. Without having time to react, Samato felt a strong pain in his eyes and deactivated them, clenched his teeth.

The pain, as if the eye socket was being burned out by a flame, was growing every moment, forcing the scientist to fall off his chair in a painful hiss, while deactivating medical technique due to the inability to hold a manual seal. After holding out for a few minutes, his consciousness stopped withstanding, and he slowly sank into unconsciousness.

...

- Mgh, it was more painful than I expected.

Lying on the floor of the room, breathing heavily, Samato felt clothes wet with sweat sticking to his body. After lying for a few minutes with his eyes closed, coming to himself, he slowly exhaled and tensed, began to rise from the floor.

- As in Atsuko's case, my DNA has partially regressed to the supposed ancestor. Now it remains to check the latter, what I could not find out by watching my test subject.

Opening his eyes slightly, the scientist felt that the clarity of his vision had slightly increased. Looking at the lab for a couple more minutes in an unsuccessful attempt to see more differences from the previous vision, Samato sighed.

Closing his eyes for a moment and directing his chakra towards them, he activated the dojutsu. Immediately, his inner feelings made it clear that something had changed and after peering for a few minutes, he whispered in surprise.

"That's... interesting."

Despite the magnification of his already clear vision, Samato noticed something he didn't even suspect. Apart from Atsuko's signature, he only concentrated, barely saw how bluish energy was present everywhere in his surroundings.

- Maybe it's natural energy?

Frowning, Samato stretched out his hand and closed his eyes and concentrated, trying to feel the surrounding energy with his sensorics. Unfortunately, after some time, a disappointed sigh was heard throughout the laboratory.

- I don't feel... but it's still interesting, maybe it's the result of what happened to my DNA. It is necessary to check the result of the change in the cells themselves.

Going to the table and taking a syringe, Samato took a blood sample. After dropping a drop of blood on a Petri dish and transfusing blood from a syringe into a test tube, he signed, inserted it into a tripod with other samples of his blood. Putting down the syringe and putting the Petri dish under the microscope, the Scientist clung to the eyepiece.

"Pretty similar to what happened with Atsuko. My cells, from the moment I injected the first serum injection, gradually began to produce more and more vital energy. Now, after this partial reverse mutation, they have become several times more active… From what I see, there are no problems, but it will be necessary to observe for some more time. Now let's check how much the regenerating properties have increased"

Moving away from the eyepiece and folding the seals, activating the chakra scalpel, Samato lifted his sleeve and put his hand in front of him. Having started the flow of the medical chakra, turning off part of the pain receptors, he put out a finger of the other hand and quickly drew along making a long thin incision, which if it had been inflicted on an ordinary person, would have required dozens of stitches.

Watching as an abundance of blood was released from the limb, which began to flow to the floor in drops, Samato waited. After five minutes, the blood began to clot, stopping the bleeding. After several tens of minutes, the significant wound on the arm decreased, finally allowing the movement of the hand.

"It will take several hours for complete healing. This is really amazing, although it requires significant consumption from my body and is not comparable to Kaguya, which almost instantly heal wounds from the release of bones. My sensitivity has also increased."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Dear Father, it seems to me that you are paying too much attention to Elder Hanshi and his son. Others are already starting to think about it in the wrong way.

There were two people in an ornate study with a large window from which the morning light penetrated. One of them was a man in his forties with a fairly well-preserved handsome face and smooth black hair. He, as if not paying attention to the previous words of the interlocutor, sitting at a large table, carefully looked at the scroll in his hands.

In front of him, with a slightly furrowed forehead, stood a young man whose age was approaching twenty years. He had man-like features, with a small scar on his cheek.

- You look too mundane. I've already told you that if you attended the clan meetings, you wouldn't have to worry so much.

Folding his arms on his chest, the young man said with a slight contempt that could be heard in his speech.

- I'm not interested in being present at this gathering of endless quarrels. This time can be spent more productively.

Hearing his son's words, the man tore his gaze away from the scroll and looked at it for a few seconds and sighed sadly.

- That's why I'm trying to make sure that Hansha's son remains intact. Unlike you, he was at every clan meeting until recently. I can only say that this child is not deprived of intelligence and his manner of behaving changed with each meeting in a positive way.

Returning his gaze back to the scroll, the man stopped paying attention to his son. But if you look closely, you could see how he was imperceptibly studying the expression of the interlocutor out of the corner of his eye. The young man frowned even more and narrowed his eyes with a pretension in his voice.

- So maybe you and the others will make it the next head, since I'm your son so bad?! Or you…

But before he could finish, a wave of cold pressure fell on the young man. His hair stood on end and the skin felt cold. In front of his eyes, an all-consuming dark fog appeared, which quickly began to gather into a human figure.

The young man's mind froze for a second, but quickly moved. Having got his bearings, he let the chakra run all over his body and took out the kunai from the pouch, cut his hand, preparing to move to attack or retreat.

Instantly everything came back, revealing an unchanged office and a man sitting on a chair. He had already put the scroll aside and, resting his head on his clasped hands, was looking attentively at his son.

- Have you forgotten how to address me?

"Haa... haa, I'm sorry Father.

A young man breathing a little tensely spoke, but despite this, he did not bother to get out of the fighting position. The man, seeing this, sighed again.

- According to my observations and data, Samato, like his father, is not interested in the position of the head of the clan. The boy is more interested in any kind of research, as evidenced by the latest orders of Hansha. If you can win him over to your side, then I will be calm about the lack of your talents in politics…

Having relaxed a little and realizing that his father was not doing anything, the young man slowly left the fighting stance.

- Are you sure, Father? What if he has similar thoughts in the future?

- Yes, the probability is small. But still remember, it is necessary to closely monitor his actions and if he goes beyond the limits, intervene ... the deadline for the agreement will end soon and I will have to send Samato from the clan to gain experience. I will send you and someone else with him, this should moderate the ardor of some, and also give you the opportunity to get acquainted with him.
