Chapter 3: A Surprise From Hell
We all exchanged a look of Confusion and Horror. The three kids that stood at the front of the room were indeed teenage demons disguised as regular students. No wonder Bosu was so pale, he was meant to protect humans from demons and now there are demons attending our school which was full of their favorite food; humans.
The one in the middle stood out in contrast to the other two because under the glamour his eyes were actually rainbow instead of green. His white hair wasn't glamoured but his mouth was. The one on the right of him had wine red colored hair and bright yellow eyes. The one to the left of the middle one had long black spiky hair that was up in a pony tail and his eyes were purple.
Bosu faced us and Adressed the entire class.
" I am sorry for the interruption but we have new students. Go ahead and introduce yourselfs to the class. " He said, his face still deathly pale.
We focused back on the three demons. They must have known what we were because when they scanned the class they're gaze stopped on us. The middle one smiled at me and only looked at me while he spoke.
" My name is Kurai niji, and I am seventeen. I enjoy looking at works of art and I favor the color red. " he said smiling at me.
I gulped and had a small fear of him.
The one to his left spoke up next.
" My name is Kurai Yoru, and I enjoy looking at the pretty faces in this room. " he purred.
Every girl seemed to start melting and me and the others weren't fooled.
The one on the right spoke up next and winked at Korudo, I bared my teeth at him.
" Hello, ladies. My name is Kare Kuru and I also enjoy looking at such delicious beauty in this room. " He said smiling wickedly. The girls melted even more as the guys walked and took seats that were close to the back where we sat. They were playing a very dangerous game by even showing their faces at this academy. Well, they'll find it hard to win this kind of game. They will not harm any of the students at the academy as long as I remain alive and breathing.
The class ended finnaly and when all the human students left it was just us and the demons.
I asked that the teacher leave and he did leaving us and the three demons alone. I stood at the head of the group.
" So, Kyūkyoku, was right this is the school with all the hashira. " Yoru mused.
" The Master is always right. " Niji said paniced.
" I know he is, now shut it and let me talk. " Yoru snapped.
" You hashiras are more attractive than the master had said, I wonder if you're stronger too? Which one of you hashira leads the group? " Yoru asked, with a poisonous bite.
" She is. " Korudo said, pointing to me.
" Her, she leads you. She's a woman, she is unfit to be a leader. " Kuru sneared at me.
I felt me rage boil and I knew my veins were glowing red and my hands started to heat up.
" Wanna rephrase that, or what you rather I blow your ass to ashes? " I growled bearing my teeth and growling.
He got in my face and growled right back.
" Thats it. " He roared and made a move punch me in the face when Niji got in the way catching Kuru's fist and shoving it downwards.
" LEAVE NOW OR I WILL SLAY YOU RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW DAMMIT! " I yelled in rage. Fire now engulfed my fists and my hashira mark on my face appeared I felt the heat and I knew that my mark was on fire.
Kuru stood back in horror and pushed the other two out of the door. I stood there on fire and almost wanted to scream in rage and ferocity.
" Leave so I can calm down" I hissed.
" But..." Korudo said trying to grab my hand.
The only way they would leave is if I turned around and showed them how close the rage inside me had till I went into my beast form.
Oh, thats right, I didn't mention that part did I? Well let me explain. I was born with a curse, a curse that makes me turn into a phoenix. Yes I had a phoenix living inside me, and it likes to torture the shit out of me. When I was like this I had to have time to calm the angry beast down before leaving the room and I needed to be alone. The angry beast would have complete control so it wouldn't bottle up the anger.
It's not easy being a beast born with a curse. The only other hashira who has the same curse was Ikari.
Ryu Ikari is the Dragon hashira and she too was born with a curse just like mine. We were beasts with no other choice but to be beasts. We shared a connection that allowed us to be the best fighters. So, I turned around and Tsubasa ushered a wide eyed Korudo into the hall.
" Tell Bosu, we will be back in class as soon as we can. " Tsubasa ordered Korudo nodded and ran down the hall.
Tsubasa closed and locked the door. He walked over and hugged me I tried to get out but as he began to glow and blue butterflies began to dance I gave in and sunk to the floor and let him cradle me. Tsubasa was my family and he knew that, and as he cradled me I watched as his butterfies danced a dance only I could see. After a few hours all the anger had leaked out but I knew they would come back with a fiery bite.
" I am so sorry if I lost control of my anger. " I said ashamed.
" Why do you apologize for a curse you didn't ask or wish for? You can control it, I know you can. " He said hugging me.
" Thanks, Tsubasa. " I said standing up.
" Are you sure you're ready to go? " Tsubasa asked.
" I'm sure. " I said unlocking the door and walking out into the hall.
We walked to the Cafe and my table looked up. Choseki looked up and gave me the all knowing look asking me if I was okay. I nodded and he nodded back, Choseki was another brother like figure but he kept me sane and yes entertained. In ways I never wished I never needed him to be. The beast made me do things I never intended to need. He knew what tonight would entail and he was willing to go with it if only for my sake.
I grabbed my food and sat down and ate in silence or at least that's all I heard. Just plain silence and nothing else. The day went by in a blur and before I knew it every one was gone home and I was waiting in my bed for the beast to take its piece of my control. I didn't have to wait long for it either. I knew what tonight would mean but if I thought too much about it I would have to use another escape and I couldn't bear waking up in some alley wet and shivering and laying in a fetal position. As the anger returned I walked to Choseki's room.
I already knew he was alone in the room and waiting for me, he was the only one who I knew would do this for me. He knew what I looked like when the anger was gone. He was the only one who would look for me. I always woke up in bed in the morning but I knew I wasn't there all night, but thankfully I didn't remember anything that happened at night
I walked in and there he was sitting on the bed shirtless . He got up and with a look that I knew so well and pinned me against the wall and kissed me with no emotion. I knew this was wrong but I was desperate and I didn't have anymore control. I kissed him back harder letting the beast run every pore and every limb in my body. I never knew what happened when the beast had full control but perhaps that was a blessing. Today had been a suprise from hell.
