Chapter 33: Feasts!

The orders came in quickly. Robert received a shot glass, bucket of ice, and three bottles of Scottish whiskey from before the outbreaks. He almost objected, but, seeing the other two just decided to start drinking from the bottle itself.

The man had a cart next to him with bottles upon bottles of alcohol, and in front of him was a fantastic smelling slab of meat, that Connor and Ivory both eyed hungrily. But their attention was brought to a new platter of just barbecued eel.

"You really like eel. Here, try a man's dish! This as well. Drink the whole bottle!" The man pushed one of his platters towards Connor and reached over, and plopped a strange flask made from ceramic in front of him. It was warm, as steam rose from the top. A small shot glass made from ceramic was placed next to it.

"Okay." Connor shrugged, he lifted the flask to his lips, but was stopped by the man.

"You pour it into the shot glass, then clink it together with mine and down it. At least for the first one. Then I'll join you in drinking the whole bottle!" The man laughed. Connor sighed and did as he was described. Then exchanged an odd cheer with the man. He put the glass to his lips and knocked it back, copying the man from the corner of his eye.

The liquid was warm, in different ways. It was an odd and charming flavor. A very light sweet tone with a similarly light bitter taste that smoothly traveled down the throat. The next thing Connor did was take a bite out of the meat. It's richness flooded his mouth, the juices dancing on his tongue. Ivory took a bite herself and closed her eyes in bliss.

The feast went on like this for an hour, Connor drank with the man and Robert soon loosened up and the party became merry. Ivory was left to her self, eating all the meat she was allowed. Soon the alcohol in the room diminished and a waitress was called to refill the order.

"Connor!... Today and yeshterday... I hated it! You... are a mad man! Who fightsh agansht a dragon, and livesh?... You! You do!" Robert slurred his words, his S's not properly forming.

"You have a big mouth." Connor pointed at him. His vision was wavy and his body followed the movement in an attempt to equal it out.

"Hahaha! You fought a dragon? What color was it?" The man laughed and asked, he was buzzed at most.

"Black! The Void Dragon! He got hish ash kicked, but the dragon jusht let him go...!" At the end of his response he gave an exclaimed expression before lifting another bottle and drinking.

"You fought the black dragon? Or was it a lesser dark gray dragon?" The man asked Connor incredulously.

"I don't know. I was... unconscious, my body fought it. Though I faintly remember it being in a humanoid form." Connor recalled the gods putting his physical forms fight on the screen.

"So it was the black dragon then. You said yesterday? Or today?" The man asked Robert.

"Yeshterday." Robert replied as he drank his whiskey.

"Last I heard, that ma- er, beast was located in centralized America. How did you make it here in such a short period?" The man interrogated Robert.

"I found a portal I thought was interesting and it spit us out in its territory." Connor quickly answered.

"Yep." Robert pointed with his bottle, splashing Ivory, who growled at him.

"Both convenient and unfortunate." The man stated. The group continued their feast up until dark. The three had become very intoxicated.

"The total, with the double discounts, will come too five gold, nine silver, and seventy seven copper." The waitress put the bill down. The group looked at it with flushed red faces. Connor, right in front of everyone, reached into his Inventory, to everyone it looked like his entire arm upto his elbow disappeared, and pulled a fairly large pouch out. He dropped it on the table with the resounding clicking and clanging sound of coins.

"There should be roughly six gold worth of silver and copper in that bag. Take it." Connor dismissed. He grabbed his mask and put it on. The man and Robert looked at him in surprise, as did the waitress.

"Got spatial skills or somethin kid?" The man asked with a thick and slow voice.

"... Special skills? Yeah, lots." Connor misheard and answered.

"Oh, so you're a spatial type Mage. How rare." The man also misheard. The group left the area stumbling. Ivory climbed on Connors shoulders, but the weight difference sent him reeling forward. Ivory had to walk.

"I am indeed a special type of Mage." Connor agreed after a moment, the statement finally processing. They were out on the crowded streets.

"HAHAHA! Indeed! I'll find you tomorrow, I have things to do." The man stated and stumbled into the crowd. Connor and Robert put one arm around each others back of the neck and trudged forward drunkenly. Ivory close on their heels.

Groups still stopped Connor for pictures, which he gave a tad more effort into. Ivory pushed the two along if they stood for too long. She hated walking. She was constantly sending a signal out for Brian, a skill she developed after becoming a Greater Lich.

Brian arrived on scene within moments. He shielded Connor from the crowds of people wanting pictures and escorted the group to a hotel that Sarah had booked.

Connor and Ivory were led to a room within the penthouse suite and Robert was taken to another. Connor looked around the fancy room, wobbling heavily. It had a nice view of the city and a giant bed. The room was massive.

"This is a room? Inside of a room?... It's the inner room!" Though it made zero sense, Connor was nonetheless astounded. He laid down on the bed, and for some reason, started giggling uncontrollably. His mask was on and the sight was rather unnerving.

Mina stood in the doorway and quickly closed and locked it behind her. She was not missing a chance to see Connors rare and rather non existent smile. She raced to the giggling boy and yanked his mask off. He was smiling, though it vanished withing a second, the sight burned a wonderful permanence in Minas mind.

His smile, though one of humor, was charming beyond understanding. He was model material enough, but that smile would melt the hearts of any woman who laid eyes on it.

"What?" Connor asked. Mina was once again on top of Connor.

"You already know." Mina replied and leaned down and began to kiss Connor. Connor, who had been drinking heavily, had zero clear thoughts. But, his desires were plenty strong and clear. He lifted her up and turned around. He put her on the bed and hovered over her instead. Minas face was now fully flushed red, she couldn't believe this was actually happening.

Sorry, I've too much to put down for the scene, I'll just have to dedicate a whole chapter. Look forward to it. *Update* Sadly, I can't do a whole 'fun' scene. I would have had to change the restriction, which would have lost readers. I apologize sincerely!
