Chapter 8: Scandal
The next day, Roxy woke up feeling a little bit better than the previous days. She was refreshed and ready to take over the world. She still has a musical career to take care of after all. So getting out of bed, taking her breakfast and dressing up, she was ready to go to work. She has a live performance soon so she has to work despite everything that was going on. But as they reached the Centerville, they were blocked in the trafficking and she and Julie were shocked to see paparazzis everywhere.
''Miss? We have a problem.'' The bodyguard said after getting out of the car to check what was happening.
''What's going on?" Roxy asked trying her best to maintain her calm and keep a neutral face. But the bodyguard stood quiet. She could tell that he didn't know how to voice it because he too was confused or was he shocked ? She couldn't tell. Frustrated of not knowing what was going on and why those paparazzis were here, a place that is supposed to be private, she stepped out of the car just to have her eyes widening in utter shock.
There was a billboard displaying one of the tricked nudes. She was seen f**king with two guys and the whole world was watching it. Suddenly, she felt as though she couldn't breath. She felt a strange pain in her chest.
''Roxy let's go back home.'' Julie said helping her to get inside the car. Once she was seating, she fainted.

Three hours later.
Roxy woke up with an aching head. Infact, her whole body was aching. It felt like she has been in a battle before going to sleep. She used the remnants of her energy and sit on the bed. Slowly, pieces of what happened to her in the morning came back and she remembered feeling unwell before fainting in the car.
''You did it again.'' She said her voice cracking and her eyes glistening with tears.
''Why do you keep doing it?!!! Tell me why!!!!" Tears were streaming down her face and she felt broken hearted. The man she loved more than everything was the one doing this to her. He became so cruel towards her. He changed faces too fast and it hurts. It hurt her so much she couldn't take it.
She wanted to disappear from this world or go somewhere else. Where nobody knew her but that was impossible. She was one of the most known celebrities in the world. Even if she went to an abandoned isle, she knew even the animals will know her. She could only cry. Again and again until she felt as sleep.
When she woke up next, it was eleven p.m. She climbed off her bed and headed to the garage she took her car and was riding at full speed. She would put an end to this. He wanted her broken right? He succeeded. And she would let him know that he succeeded in doing that.
She was riding like she was in a fast and furious movie. It was like she was flying and her problems were flying away. Soon she arrived where she wanted. They guards knew who she was so they let her in. Stepping down from the car she looked around. She had unforgettable memories in this place. But were they useful again? She was asking herself with a bitter smile.
She didn't waste any second and made her way inside the house he wasn't inside. She was about to climb up the stared when she heard a voice.
''What are you doing here?" He asked her.
''You finally came to beg me?" He said approaching her swirling his glass of wine. He was wearing a robe and he was wet. She could tell he had just taken a bath or a shower. Once he was close to her, he let his thumb caress her lower lip.
''You know I will always be there for you. My arms will always be open for you but... You know what you have to do.'' He said smirking. He was faking it. He could probably win an Oscar because right now he was dying to hold her and kiss her hard leaving her breathless but again, his pride.
He was about to speak again but to his surprise, she bit his thumb hard until it was bleeding. Taking the glass of wine from him she poured the wine on his face and slapped him. She was furious and at this moment, nothing could calm her.
