Chapter 63: Chapter 62: The Big Three
Days later
[Kaede POV]
After my walk with Todoroki, I found out I seemed to enjoy spending time with him more than before...
All of us were in class, well, everyone except Bakugo and Todoroki. Both of them started their lessons to get their Provisional Hero License today, which makes me sad that I won't see him that often now.
Wait, why am I thinking like this!!!??? Get it together Kaede!
Anyway, Midoriya was very excited to be back, and he listened to Aizawa-sensei with his full attention.
"Today, I got three students that will talk about Hero Work Studies. They are swamped, and they make a schedule to see you, so show your utmost respect." Aizawa-sensei said in his usual bored tone.
Immediately, three people entered our classroom, "I introduce you to Mirio Togata, Neijre Hado, and Tamaki Amajiki." Aizawa-sensei introduced the three students.
Togata has blond hair, blue oval-shaped eyes, and visible scars on his arms. Hado has light blue or purple hair down to her knees with royal blue irises. Lastly, Amajiki has messy indigo hair; his most noticeable feature is his elf-like ears.
My eyes lit up, seeing who they were. The big three have arrived! I had already met them at the start of school, but I haven't talked to them lately because of all the things that happened recently: "Hi Togata-kun, Hado-chan, and Amajiki-kun!" I greeted them.
Togata and Amajiki nodded at me, but Hado reacted differently. She charged and hugged me so tightly that I was suffocating in her chest.
"WWUUAAHH I miss you Uchiha-chan! Why haven't you been visiting me!" She cried.
"Mmmph mmph!" I was running out of air and struggled to break free.
'This will not be how my life ends!' I screamed in my mind.
Thankfully, Togata arrived and saved the day as he got Hado to let go of me, and I gasped for air.
"I thought I'm going to die...." I muttered with a pale face.
Hado finally left me alone and went to bother the rest of my classmates. Togata returned to the front and shouted: "The journey ahead!"
"Will be full of difficulties!" I yelled back while raising my fist into the air.
He nodded with a smile while my friends just stared at me weirdly. Seeing their reactions, Togata decided to challenge us to a battle. He said it's better to personally witness the experiences they gained for Hero Work Studies rather than explain them to us.
[3rd POV]
As Class-1A changed into their sports uniforms, the big three were about to leave, but Shota quickly stopped Mirio: "Be careful of Uchiha. If you underestimate her, you will regret it."
Mirio's expression turned serious, and he nodded. The only time he saw her fight was during the sports festival, 'She must have got stronger than before....' He thought.
10 minutes later.
Everyone was in Gym Gamma, and Class 1-A observed Mirio warily as he stood on the other end of the field. This battle was between Mirio and the entire class.
"So we can just all attack you?" Eijiro raised his hand and asked.
"Yup, you can start whenever you're ready!" Mirio shouted from the other side.
Immediately, the students with the long-range quirks maneuvered to the back while the people with close combat quirks went to the front. Watching this, Mirio smirked as he prepared to fight. Once everyone was ready, the first one to move was Kaede as she built up the chakra in her legs and dashed toward Mirio. She instantly appeared in front of Mirio and sent a kick at his chest.
However, her foot just passed through his body; Kaede was shocked, not because of Mirio's quirk, but because all of Mirio's clothes fell onto the floor.
"Kyaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" Kaede shriek, and she quickly covered her eyes.
"Sorry about that!" Mirio exclaimed as he punched back.
However, just like before, Mirio's fist phased through Kaede's head. This time, Mirio was truly bewildered, and Mirio knew that he didn't activate his quirk in the attack. Suddenly, Kaede's body was sucked into her right eye, and she appeared next to Ochako. She was still covering her face with embarrassment and leaned on her friend for comfort
"Why did you take off your clothes!" Kaede screamed as she blushed.
All her friends stared at Mirio with disgusted looks, "It's my quirk! I can't control that!" Mirio hurriedly explained.
The students slowly nodded, but they still glared at him. Izuku and Ejiro decided to attack Mirio this time, but he quickly sunk to the floor. Mirio then shot out of the ground behind them, Izuku reacted in time to get away, but Eijiro wasn't so lucky.
Mirio used his full strength and punched Ejiro in the stomach. His usual hardened quirk wasn't enough, and Ejiro grunted in pain as the fist sunk into his stomach. Snapping out of their daze, the students with long-range quirks immediately started attacking Mirio with projectiles.
*Kaboom!*
A giant explosion was formed when the attacks collided with the ground on which Mirio was standing. However, to Class 1-A bewilderment, Mirio seemed to vanish out of thin air.
Their question was answered as Mirio appeared behind Class 1-A and started eliminating their long-range fighters left and right. With the power of gender equality, everyone received a punch to the stomach.
Kaede gritted her teeth in frustration, and she tried to intervene, but Mirio just switched his targets instead. She even tried to use shadow clones to capture him however Mirio got past that as well. Kaede's friends can't help each other out because Mirio was too fast and they desperately fought for their own survival.
Luckily, things weren't easy for Mirio either. When the opportunity arises, Kaede will immediately heal the injuries of her friends and bring them back to the fight. When Mirio tries to stop her, Kaede will get away, or her classmates will try to protect her.
The battle has become a weird game of tag. For every person Mirio defeated, Kaede will bring one back into the fight. However, as it continues, Kaede and Mirio are slowly running out of stamina, and they are both aware of this problem.
But the real losers in this exchange were Kaede's friends as they got painfully punched, got healed, just to get punched again.
