Chapter 90: Hyatt Casino (3)
While Ling Feng was currently steamrolling and completely overwhelming Sheu Fai's subordinates...
"Well shit, I ran out of popcorn." Grant couldn't help but grumble.
"Want some of mine?" Ronald held out his bucket of popcorn.
"Nah it's all good, I'll go get some more later." Grant politely declined Ronald's offer and continued watching the fight.
"Okay, but who do you think is going to win anyways?" Ronald asked Grant.
Even though Ronald knew that Ling Feng was definitely going to win, he wanted to see if Grant was going to underestimate the protagonist's power just like most of the other villains out there.
"Hmm? Is that even a question? That poor loser that got extremely lucky at gambling is going to win." Grant didn't even bother to look back at Ronald but continued to observe the fight.
Since Grant was one of the Gods of War in the Western World, he could tell that just from the way Ling Feng was fighting that Ling Feng was a martial artist, and quite an experienced one at that.
"Is that so? What if he attacks us next then?" Ronald pretended to sound worried.
"Don't worry about it, that loser wouldn't be able to beat me in a fight anyways." Grant said with a proud look on his face.
Since he could easily see and monitor Ling Feng's movements, Grant knew that he had the ability to react fast enough to all of Ling Feng's attacks and take him down without even having to break a sweat.
"I see." Seeing the proud look on Grant's face, Ronald couldn't help but shake his head and sigh in his heart.
To be honest, he wasn't really surprised about Grant's response, after all, most of the arrogant villains were like this anyways in order to allow the protagonists to prosper.
What he was slightly concerned about though is that if Grant tries to offend Ling Feng and ends up bringing Ronald along for the ride.
Now that wouldn't be a problem at all if he was going to act like a brainless villain and get face slapped just like in his previous life.
But since the system told him that he doesn't have to follow Ling Feng's plots and doesn't have to actually act like a brainless villain for once, then why should he still act like one?
Of course, he could just end up face slapping Ling Feng and call it a day, but he didn't want to reveal his strength, especially in an area like this where there were still a bunch of rich and influential indivudials watching.
But oh well, he'll figure out what to do when the time comes.
"By the way Ronald, why'd yo-" Just as Grant was about to ask him why Ronald had gone straight to him the moment he had step foot onto the second floor of the casino...
"I already called over someone that you cannot absolutely offend!" Sheu Fei hurriedly shouted out.
While he was watching all of his elite guards and his right-hand man who was an elite mercenary from overseas getting absolutely destroyed with ease, he quickly called the person who he was working for to come over and help him out.
"Oho? Someone I can't offend?" Ling Feng smiled with interest.
"T-that's right! Even though you're a martial artist, the person I had called over is someone that you definitely can't deal with even if there was 100 of you!" Assuming that his threat had worked, Sheu Fei started to boast proudly.
"Great, then while we wait for that person to come..." Ling Feng then slowly started to walk over to Sheu Fei menacingly.
"N-no! S-stay back! Don- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" After being kicked in the balls, Sheu Fei couldn't help but clutch his balls and screamed so loudly that everyone on the first floor of the casino had turned their head towards the second floor and wondered to themselves what was going on up there.
There was no way that Sheu Fei would be able to further develop the Sheu family lineage after tonight.

"That was Sheu Fei's screams, let's hurry up!" Lai Meiyun hurriedly rushed inside of the casino building with a Master Martial Artist following right behind and went straight up to the second floor of the casino building.
"Miss Lai! Haha you're screwed now!" After seeing that Lai Meiyun and a master martial artist come up to the second floor, Sheu Fei completely forgot all about the pain he had and arrogantly held his nose in the air.
Even though he knew that Ling Feng was a martial artist, he was absolutlely certain that Ling Feng would be screwed now since he knew that the Lai family had a lot of connections with some of the strongest families in the capital city and also had a few master martial artists on their side as well.
Just as Sheu Fei was about to do anything else however...
*Slap*
Lai Meiyun slapped Sheu Fei across the face, and then hurriedly walked over to Ling Feng.
"I deeply apologize for not disciplining my subordinates correctly, Mr. Ling." Lai Meiyun bowed her head down and apologized with sincerity.
"It's fine." Ling Feng said indifferently.
Seeing that Ling Feng wasn't mad at her, Lai Meiyun sighed with relief, and then turned her head back towards Sheu Fei.
"Sheu Fei, how dare you offend Mr. Ling like that? Did you know that even my Grandpa has to show his respects to Mr. Ling whenever he meets him, kneel down this instant and apologize to Ling Feng if you want to keep your limbs attached to your body!" Lai Meiyun looked at Sheu Fei with extreme hostility and belittled him.
"P-please forgive me Mr. Ling, for having eyes but failing to recognize Mt. Tai!" Sheu Fei got on both of his knees and started kowtowing.
"Whatever." Ling Feng stated unenthusiastically, and then started preparing to leave the second floor of the casino.
"Mr. Ling! Wa-" Just before Lai Meiyun could call out to Ling Feng however...
"BWAHAHAHA!"
