Chapter 6: Chapter 6
The next morning Tsukiyo woke up and stretched his limbs. He decided to contact Serafall about his successful mission and to start to get ready to tell Cleria's family about her situation. He also needed her to tell them at a time that would be the least suspicious since someone will notice the devil king going to them.
After he was finished he went to the kitchen to get breakfast ready for his two guests. After he finishes and places the food on the table the couple comes out and greet Tsukiyo. Then they proceed to sit down and eat while, thanking him for the food.
After dinner they discussed what they are going to do for now and Tsukiyo decided to hide them in his safehouse he made for them in his dimension. He created this dimension when he was deciding where he would live while traveling and decided the easiest way was to have a home everywhere he went.
Tsukiyo started to explain to them about his dimension and where they were going to live for the time being until everything is settled. He also told them they can live anywhere after a period of time as long as they wear the bracelets he made to alter their appearance.
He then tells them he will be going out and to stay inside for their own protection.
He goes outside to the park where he usually sees Irina and finds her and her friends. He notices she is depressed as they play together but waits until after the others leave in order to talk to her. He knows that they are probably planning to leave already and Irina was just told the news so he will talk to her after.
After a while all the others leave and he starts talking to her about her mood.
"Irina why do you look sad." He says and Irina starts tearing up and says "We are going to move away from here in a week. I don't want to leave you."
"So your leaving town and that's why you look sad." He states, "I know it may be sad but it's not like we will never see each other again you know." He says with a smile on his face while wiping her tears.
"You mean it?" She says, looking at him with teary eyes, almost begging him to say yes.
"Of course I mean it. We will see each other again in the future so there's no need to be sad about moving away because we will meet each other again." He says while patting her head so she calms down.
"Okay then, It's getting late Irina its time to go back home before your parents worry about you." Tsukiyo tells her.
"Okay, but meet me before I have to go okay." She says with determination in her eyes.
"Sure I also wanted to meet you before you leave." He says and her face brightens up.
"Okay see you at the end of the week! Bye!" Irina says excitedly and leaves while waving her hands.
Tsukiyo stood there and waved at her while smiling since she is such an energetic girl.
Afterwards he went home and started to decided what to give to her since, he wants to give her something since they won't see each other for a while.
After he decides what to make he starts working on it. He decides to make it himself by making it from scratch and using a beautiful but, hard material in order for it to be pretty and durable. He then adds runes on it in order to have protection in case her life is in danger or severely injured.
After he was finished with it he put it in a box and waited for the end of the week.
At the end of the week he went to see Irina off while carrying the box.
As he was getting closer he could see Irina waiting outside nervously and when she saw him her face brightened up. She ran up to him.
"Hello Irina." Tsukiyo said
"Hi, thank you for coming. I got nervous since I didn't know if you would make it on time." she said.
"You didn't have to worry. I would never break my promise with you." He said with a smile while patting her head
"Eheheh, of course I know it's just I would get nervous anyway" Irina said while laughing and closing her eyes to better feel his headpat.
"Anyways I want to give you something before I go" She said and gave me bracelet with engravings around the cross in the middle. It was silver in color and had a dark blue hue around it.
"Thank you. I will treasure it." Tsukiyo said with a very happy face as he didn't know that she would give him something like this. He was surprised but besides that feeling was just the giddy feeling of a person you care about giving you something.
"I also have something for you Irina. Here you go." Once Tsukiyo said that he gave the box he was carrying to Irina, who looked surprised but then excited to see what was inside. When she opened it she saw a necklace with a cross on it. The cross was silver and shined brightly, it looked beautiful and felt like it was warm and radiating a holy energy.
"Wow!" Irina exclaimed with shock and surprise since she has never seen something so beautiful before. She stood there for a few minutes then went up and hugged him.
"Thank you." She said in a quiet voice and slightly embarrassed.
"You welcome." Tsukiyo said as he also started hugging her back. After a few seconds they let go and then Irina did something that slightly shocked Tsukiyo and kissed him on the cheek.
"That's to make sure you keep your promise to meet again. Bye!" Irina said with a red face while running away to her car embarrassed by what she just.
Tsukiyo just stood there shocked at how bold she was but he could not help but smile at her. After all these months of playing and being with her, he can say that they were the most happy of his life. She was energetic and a fun person to be around. So he was happy to receive a kiss from her and promised in his mind that no matter what happens in the future he won't forget about her.
Afterwards he went back home and started to get ready to leave on his trip that would take years. He has a schedule that needs to be followed in order to be able to make sure he can save the people, he wants to save and sacred gears that he wants to obtain.
