Chapter 9: Agent
"Hyung?"
"Sorry to make you come here all of a sudden."
Lee Woo-jin waited outside for Junho, he went to Junho first before to his parents as it was the nearest to the train station.
"What is it? Is there a problem?"
"No there's none but look I've been snooping around asking people if they know you"
"And?"
"Who is Bae Choo-hyun is she your girlfriend? Is she the reason why you stated in your contract that you want to date someone after three years?"
"Yes"
"You only answered one part of the question, well it's a good thing that most people here don't know that you're a trainee and they think I'm your uncle or hyung"
"But you are"
"Back to the main point I've looked at her profile and wanted to scout her as well and present her to JYP-nim"
"I don't know what to say"
"That's a different reaction than what I was expecting, shouldn't you be happy or excited?"
"I would be but she told me got accepted into an agency and she hinted at me that it was M.S. and they had already contacted her."
"That's a shame, but then again I guess it would be detrimental for the two of you to be together under one agency I can already imagine the amount of rumors' that would spread"
"Yeah and that's why I have to work hard and be influential enough to own a share in the company"
"That's quite a big ambition ah I wonder when an Old Man like me could have a girlfriend"
"So was that all you wanted to ask?"
"Well no, I'm here to warn you to just continue what you guys are doing since people just think that you two are birds of the same feather and that it won't progress as much since you two are the top of the class, and since both of you are going to be trainees I'm gonna assume that both of you have to break it up sooner or later."
"We know."
"Then I won't say anything else and wish you two the best of luck."
"Hey why are you planting a flag."
"Did I? Well like I said good luck to you, If you can pull it off maybe you lay the groundworks for some people in the future but I seriously doubt they can"
Lee Woo-jin laughed at Junho as whose face couldn't be described now he pinched his face apart as if he was his own brother, in fact Lee Woo-jin had already considered him as his brother since he was now his assigned manager and that he was the only one he would be managing.
"Ouch, anyway about the list."
"Yeah what about it JYP-nim said if you have any songs in mind he'll gladly accept it"
"You just sent me the names of the groups not actual list of members."
"Shouldn't you know them by now?"
"Well ugh"
Junho forgot to do this as it was not until he met Lee Woo-jin in person again that this was a different reality than the one he was used to so he thought of the previous groups in his past life.
"It's fine, well who should I start I mean which group should I start?"
"Well since my girlfriend still has lots of hurdles to pass through so I made tons of songs for her but."
"Okay I'll stop you right there Junho if its for your girlfriend keep it for you and for her please its better this way."
"I didn't even finish yet but yeah I already did and prepared for the future."
"You're that confident in her debuting huh?"
"Well You've seen her wouldn't you?"
"Point taken, now out with it."
"Who are the GirlsWonder members?"
"I'd slap you right now if I could but I won't,currently its just down to Kim Taeyeon, Kim Eubin, Hahm Eunji, Lee Sunmi, Lee Hyeri."
"And? I know you always have something."
"I heard Taeyeon wants to pursue a solo career once they go inactive since Sunmi wants to pursue her academic career after the year ends as for Eunji, Hyeri and Eubin they'll continue their endeavour in promoting the group in their own ways"
"Inactive?"
"It's just rumors but they're planning to go on hiatus two or three years from now and I've been in this industry for quite an ample amount of time and I'm leaning towards it happening in the near future."
"Then about Taeyeon Unnie"
"I see, I'll contact her first"
"Thank you Hyung!"
"All right now I'm off to meet your parents and return to your class, listen well!"
Lee Woo-Jin said as he left Junho who immediately ran back to class.

"Well just as I expected"
Lee Woo-jin entered the restaurant which was aptly named as "Crown Restaurants" he looked at it and to him it felt familiar somehow but he couldn't quite put a finger to it, he went in and was greeted by a staff who told him they had been expecting him so they guided him to an empty table.
"Is it usually this empty?"
"No, we just opened two hours earlier than usual since our head chef wanted to meet you"
"Is the restaurant closing by any chance?"
"No, just a change of management, our boss will move to Seoul meanwhile the staff will remain the same just under new management."
"I see thank you for answering my query."
"It's a pleasure."
Lee Woo-jin then saw Park Hoon sitting and reading the news paper at a table.
"Good afternoon Sir Woo-jin"
"It's fine if you call me just Woo-jin"
"Then I'll call you that, actually we're in trouble?"
"Trouble? What Kind of trouble?"
Lee Woo-Jin squinted his eyes as he began thinking off the possible problems that would arise but.
"We want our Son to be the mascot of our restaurant."
Lee Woo-Jin flinched and was somewhat perplexed but he sighed and knew their worries weren't without reason as Junho was now under contract with Pegasus.
"Well It's not a problem for me if you were to ask me he is your son after all, how many branches are we talking about."
"Just the one we're opening in Seoul."
"Let me ask JYP-nim see what he thinks but I'm pretty sure he'll agree."
"I'm sure he will after all any publicity is free publicity and he is my son"
"I'm sure your business will flock with girls trying to catch a glimpse of him in the future."
"Of course they will its marketing, I wouldn't be a business man if I can't capitalize on my own son's appearance."
"Does he know?"
"He doesn't but I know he'll agree after all it's just a small favor."
"Is this what you were worried about?"
"Yeah if you want we can sign an agreement"
"Interesting but I'd say you shouldn't I'm sure the CEO will agree and so will JYP since it's just one branch right."
"Who knows, but anyway you don't need to fork over anything just give us the go signal and we'll handle everything."
"All right I'll inform them later on."
As they were done talking Park Jihyun came over bringing meals to their table.
"I would be lying if I said I wasn't expecting this."
"You really are shameless."
