Chapter 187: The Clean Up

Marcius walked with measured steps along the hallway of a relatively damaged building. He was currently inside what seemed to be the main infrastructure of the entire bandits' camp.

He could still hear shouting and the sounds of steel clashing against each other from outside as he walked through the building. The majority of the battle was almost over but some pockets of bandits' resistance were still remaining here and there; thus, Marcius's troops had to clear out the area around the settlement in order to make sure that there were no survivors from the enemy's side left.

It was a complete and utter victory for the army of the Flavic sector and the Aemilia clan. The bandits' army was crushed within decent minutes of fighting and was overrun fairly easily. Marcius did not even have to get involved in the actual fighting that much.
